Known for our VERY CLEAN ROOMS. Two story, brick buildings with wrought iron detail framing our covered porches. Furniture on porches for sitting and relaxing. Heated outdoor, seasonal pool. Menus of area restaurants here for you to review. Clean, Comfortable, Courteous, Convenient, Quiet. Close to Hollywood Casino, Lancaster and Gettysburg.

We had a great stay at the White Rose. The owner and manager are committed to ensuring guests are happy and have what they need for a comfortable stay. While the motel is only a 2* property, and amenities are basic, the rooms are very clean. We came into town as part of a team/for a tournament, and the set up couldn't have been any better, especially given social distancing restrictions due to COVID. The boys had plenty of space to gather outside, and we even had two team meals together under a tent behind the motel. The outdoor pool is a huge perk over a tiny indoor pool, and there is a public park immediately behind the property with a small baseball field and basketball court. Without question, we'll be back! Thanks again to AJ for making it a memorable weekend!

This place is honestly kind of amazing. It looks like motels I stayed in as a kid in the 1980s and yet it's not run down. Everything is well maintained and clean. It's small but comfy and half the cost of other hotels this close to Hersheypark. They have done an amazing job with the insulation because even though it's right off the main road there was NO road noise at night and we were on the ground floor next to a staircase and didn't hear the usual thumping and noise you get in a hotel. There's no breakfast provided, but there is a fridge and microwave so just bring your own. If proximity to Hersheypark, cleanliness, and a good night's sleep are your priorities, this place is a good choice. I wouldn't pay this price for this hotel in a different location, but we went door to door to Hersheypark in 10-15 minutes at peak times and our family of 4 slept well! The name is also cool--reminds me of the family motel in Schitt's Creek and also the White Rose resistance in 1930s Munich. That plus the ornate original iron scrollwork on the balconies made this just a really cool place to stay before a fun day at the park.

I literally made this account in order to write this review, and I don't write reviews but I do read them. Especially when looking for a cheaper hotel/motel. I took my daughter to Hershey this week for the first time and found this gem on Trip Advisor. It checked all the boxes. She wanted a pool. Check. It was super close to Hershey. The rooms were extremely clean. It was around the same price as most of the less expensive hotels. Everyone I saw pulling in or out seemed to have a family in tow. One of our days here I happened to see them cleaning the rooms. The very nice woman cleaning was actually dusting the vents from the air conditioners. An added bonus was their washer and dryer. I love coming up without dirty clothes! I will definitely be staying here again. I included a picture of the grout in the bathroom. Mine is no where near as white!

Our experience staying here was not optimal. After reading reviews, we assumed this would be a good place to stay and was more affordable than other options. Be aware, the room is very small and felt cramped, the bathroom was not clean, the motel sits close to a busy road and it was noisy inside the room day and night. We left after the first of two nights and will not return.

I can’t say enough good things about this motel. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. The owner, AJ went out of his way to make sure our group had everyday conveniences. We were able to use the backyard area to cookout, gather our group for meals, before and after games. Great location, nice pool, I highly recommend.

All of the great reviews were right. Room was beautiful, beds comfy, plenty of pillows. You could basically live in this room: hair dryer, iron and ironing board, coffee machine, microwave, taller mini fridge, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, tissues, etc. Pool in great shape with its own towels poolside. Free coffee and reasonably priced drinks in the lobby. Friendly folks operating the motel. Glad we found this gem and will return next. Accidentally booked a room twice because Trip Advisor’s “Bookings” tab said “none” despite booking through their app a week prior and in a panic the morning of our trip I booked again. Once I realized the mistake and asked for a refund on the second res website the White Rose folks quickly accepted so we weren’t double charged. If Trip Advisor mostly just redirects you to other booking websites they should do away with a “Bookings” tab, since it probably won’t record most bookings.

Our family stayed at the White Rose Motel for a night prior to going to Hershey World of Chocolate. It’s an old-school motel that has been very well kept. The price was unbeatable & it was clean and neat. The owner was very nice & even unlocked the pool for us to let my young kids have some fun after a long day of driving - despite arriving late & the pool being closed for the evening. I would definitely stay there again.

Our family was headed to Hershey park for the weekend and planning to stay at White Rose. By the time we arrived at the park, my wife was feeling so ill and could not handle the park. We had to turn around to go home. Although we were past the cancellation period, the kind management of the hotel was willing to refund the cost. We will look forward to staying another time and will tell all of our friends!

this is a hidden gem. close to hershey park attractions. clean, comfortable and friendly. easy parking. the staff members at the desk went obove and beyond to entertain my grandson's questions and requests. He is 5 years old. We will return!!

We had planned to stay here 3 days and we only ended up staying one night due to an emergency. The staff was very very understanding and helpful that we had to leave and was very professional. The room was super clean and comfortable also! Couldn't ask for a better stay, and it was super close to Hershey park which we went to as well which was great.
