We visited with our three year old this past week. Service was excellent from check in to check out and everything in between. We ate at Fire & Grain for dinner twice and breakfast once. Food and service were both great. Stopped by the Cocoa Beanery several times for coffee, dessert and snacks - food and service there were great too. The highlight of the stay for our little one was of course the WaterWorks. We had no problems getting in when we wanted to go as we planned around their scheduled cleanings and waited in line for the pool to open each time. We were able to visit twice a day for both nights of our stay. The fact that we didn't have to leave the hotel for anything was fantastic and we can't wait to return.
What a wonderful stay at the Hershey Lodge - WOW. This was truly an amazing experience. The rooms and hotel was nice and clean. So much to do for Adults and children (please see my photos). Dining options are excellent, too! Can't wait to return here -- AGAIN!!! ***HINT, HINT*** Order the special (and famous) Hershey Kisses Chocolate Martini!!! It is an experience, too.
We came for a couple of days from LI, figured it was a nice time to visit the hotel with the kids. We were told when booking the hotel was going to be quiet, no reservations for the pool needed. Got to the pool couldn’t get in, bc so many guests were already in. We waited bc we were on a waitlist and eventually got it. The pool reservation guy was the only nice and patient staff in the hotel. The hotel only had one quick serve place to grab breakfast, line was long always. We went to order a dessert and drink at 9:30 PM one night only to be shut out and couldn’t order anything after 9:30 pm. Not much to do in the hotel due to winter / COVID but the staff could be a little nice. Overall we found the staff to be very unpleasant. We complained about our room and the front desk staff again was rude about it. The picture in our room had old gum on it, the bathroom was broken and overall our room was old. I would not be coming back unfortunately.…
Great spot to stay while visiting the Hersey area. Came here during the winter and is nicely decorated for Christmas. Plenty of restaurants at the hotel and only a few minutes away from downtown hersey and the park. Has a great big fireplace area in the lobby. Perfect for hanging out and playing a board game. Rooms are basic but updated. Hotel also has a nice gym and pool area.
I had reservations for a 2 nt stay and they called 2 days prior to say that they will only let us use the Waterpark for 2 and half hours each day. They did not plan for so many people to use the waterpark. Sounds like they overbooked due to covid restrictions. I cancelled, but I am extremely upset because they did not offer any compensation. They claimed they had activities but they do not start until the evening and they offer them anyway. Very disappointed!
