My stay at the resort was nothing short of spectacular, offering a serene escape from urban life. As a discerning diner, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of food options available, catering to all dietary preferences without compromising on taste. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the impeccably maintained rooms to the delectable cuisine, particularly the fresh food and the most delicious vegan cookies. The food was very tasty and healthy, you may actually leave losing a few pounds.

The resort's commitment to service was highlighted by their willingness to accommodate specific requests, such as the precise daily room cleaning schedule at 10:30am. We were pleased that the request was honored every day!

The staff, particularly Wendy, Vanessa, Natalie, Johnny, and Wylie, went above and beyond to ensure a welcoming and personalized experience. It was clear that Wendy and Vanessa had a good amount of experience to ensure that their guests' requests were honored. Both Natalie, Johnny and Wylie also ensured we were satisfied with our food and experience.

The resort's facilities, including the tranquil hot tubs, provided the perfect setting for relaxation. The thoughtful service extended to ensuring timely transportation arrangements, with a special mention to Arthur for his assistance. This exceptional experience has me eagerly anticipating my next visit.

I just got back from The Lodge at Woodloch after a 2 night stay with my wife, and while I had fairly high expectations based on the reviews, every part of the stay exceeded our expectations! The fantastic service started from the time we arrived. The gatekeeper obviously took our name and as soon as we pulled up, the valet and the front desk were expecting us. The valet took our bags, disappeared, and when we got to the room, our bags were waiting there for us. The front desk had everything ready to go and offered us a tour.

Rooms: If you read reviews about the rooms being outdated, they're obviously from before the place was remodeled. The rooms are beautiful, modern, and very comfortable. The bathrooms aren't huge, but are very nice. Our view from room 320 was beautiful, and we kept our windows open so that we could hear the waterfall outside. The robes they provide are very comfortable, and they're basically all we wore for much of our stay.

Spa: Services were comparable to other high-end spas I've been to (and prices were similar), but the facilities were better than most. Each side for men and women have a large and very comfortable sitting area, great showers, a steam room, sauna, and whirlpool. They also both have beautiful views of the grounds. Unlike many other spas I've been to, there are also plenty of co-ed areas, which my wife and I were very happy to find. Included in the co-ed areas are another sauna, an indoor pool, several hot tubs (one is an outdoor infinity edge hot tub), and apparently the only snow room in the US.

Food: One area where all-inclusive resorts usually lack is the food. However, that's definitely not the case at Woodloch, where food is comparable to some of the nicest restaurants I've been to. All of their vegetables tasted somehow fresher than other farm-to-table restaurants we've been to. Everything, from curry mussels, to duck, to steak, was amongst the best I've had. If I were to be served any of their dinner entrees at a typical restaurant, I'd have no complaints paying $40-50 each.

Grounds: Beautiful, and meticulously maintained. Plenty of hiking/biking trails available, including some that are great for just cruising around, and a couple that are a legitimate challenge on a mountain bike. There are deer on the grounds that are by far the most friendly I've ever come across - one of the deer actually came up and licked my hand! Their garden is just a short walk from the hotel, and worth the walk over to see.

Staff: All were wonderful! The customer service is some of the best I've ever had, without exception. From the valet, to the front desk, to the spa, to the outdoor activities staff - they're all helpful, friendly, and seem genuinely interested in making sure your visit is perfect.

Really can't say enough about this place. Although it's a 4 hour drive from our house, it was totally worth the drive, and we'd love to go back in the future!

My mom and I were looking for a quick but special vacation from Philadelphia that didn't require a flight. We ended up booking a Friday-Sunday stay at The Lodge at Woodloch. It is definitely pricey... but was everything we hoped for and more. The property is beautiful, especially when we were there mid-Oct. A true respite from a hectic schedule and busy job.

We arrived around 11:30 on Friday and our bags and cars were whisked away. We had a nice lunch and then checked into our room (it was ready early). From there we had a truly restorative and relaxing few days. We did a couple of activities (Forest bathing, wine and cheese tasting, nature pix, bird watching). All of the guides/instructors were friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. We also tried all of the included spa amenities and pools.

I loved that everyone really does walk around the lodge in spa robes (you can even do breakfast and lunch in your robe and slippers)! One tip - the slippers they provide are kind of flimsy - if you have a favorite pair at home, bring em.

The food was fantastic - the menus didn't change daily but they had some really delicious specials at both lunch and dinner. They also put out fun/creative and yummy snacks between meals. It's not the typical all-inclusive all you can eat feel, it's more like being in a nice restaurant. I liked that the meals weren't heavy or huge portions. They were just right.

Our room was perfect too - comfy and we had everything we needed (they even have a menu with a bunch (like 6 or 8??) different types of pillows you can choose from!).

I've always been a purely warm weather resort fan for getaways like this - but I'm really surprised how much I loved Woodloch and the way you feel peaceful, pampered, and nurtured there. I'll be going back for sure. Can't recommend enough.

Escaped with a girlfriend for a 2 night 3 day much needed mini vacation. To say that our expectations were exceeded would not do The Lodge at Woodloch justice. We were treated so beautifully by every single staff member we encountered - it was as if they just couldn't do enough for us.
I had 2 EXCEPTIONAL spa services (a massage with Alex and a body polish with Morgan) that were better than any other spa service I've ever had. The food was delicious and the kitchen was incredibly accommodating, especially to my friend who has some food allergies. Dishes were reconfigured so she was able to enjoy everything with zero anxiety. The grounds are gorgeous, we took walks, sat at the lake and visited the farm. All great. I kept thinking how quickly can I get back to Woodloch? My friend and I decided that this is going to be a yearly ritual for us. So if I don't see you sooner, we'll see you next year. Thank you all for making our mini vacation so memorable.

We were welcomed warmly from our arrival at the gatehouse until checkout. The staff were amazing. The food was 4 stars at breakfast and lunch and 5 stars at dinner. The spa and resort were impeccably clean and maintained. The classes and activities included something for all. The evening's entertainment was low key but so much fun thanks to Barbara. My wife and I will miss singing with her. Our room was spacious, modern and comfortable but not overtly luxurious. Overall: classy, warm and casual in the best possible ways. It is expensive but not disproportionately to the quality of the service provided and food served. This was our first visit and we look forward to returning.

When they say you get what you pay for, this is what they are talking about. This is not an inexpensive place, but from the moment you arrive at the front gate you are met with warmth and friendliness and outstanding customer service, from literally every person you come into contact with. The food is abundant and delicious, the spa is literally out of this world...amazing steam rooms, saunas, pools, hot tubs both indoor and out, a "snow" room for cooling down, a coldwater bucket dump right outside the sauna, all sorts of cozy areas for reading, napping, snacking on fruit and tea and granola which they provide...I could go on and on. The classes we took (tai chi, gong meditation, yoga, chakra meditation) were taught by the most insightful and gentle souls, who made you feel safe and connected and in good hands. I literally can't think of a negative, except that it was over too fast! This is worth saving up for...I can't wait to go back!

I love every single thing about Woodloch. I have visited many times- this time with 5 girlfriends. We loved: pole dancing class in the pool, trampoline class in the pool, cold bucket experience, Barry White yoga class (shout out to the best instructor Cindy) and many more classes that are so fun! Food was amazing as always. Chef Jones demonstrated a delicious salmon and rice dish that we loved!
I also loved a chakra healing massage this time, as well as Thai Bodywork massage- Junie is the best!
Sad to leave paradise!

The resort is amazing from the moment you arrive. The lodge is beautiful, clean, and full of food, spa services, and activities all geared to provide a blissful experience.

My daughter and I went for a Mother/Daughter weekend. Our room (208) looked out over beautiful grounds and each morning there were numerous deer grazing just outside our balcony. The food - every meal - was just amazing. There were drinks and snacks at every turn. You won't go hungry!

The spa services were great, and not just the services, but the spa itself is a must to spend a day hanging out in the salt sauna, snow room, hot tubs, and under the waterfall. We had a pedicure, massage, and facial. All were spectacular.

Many guests don't take full advantage of the outdoor activities but they're also great. We did kayaking, paddle boarding, fly casting/fishing, smores, a bird watching class, and more.

You can choose to fill your days or just sit in any of the quiet lush rooms or serene outdoor deck.

For as many people as they serve here, we never felt like it was crowded.

The staff were all wonderful and accommodating, too many to recognize all by name. Greg and (blond with pig tails) at the SUP, kayaks and smores. RJ with the birds. Grace with the fly casting. Our Scottish pedicurist. So, so many more, from the spa and reception staff to waiters, etc.

We had an incredible time and are already saying we'll need to do it again. I highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.

We just spent our third visit to the Lodge at Woodloch.
The rooms are adequate and certainly not over the top. Our view was in the back with woods and waterfall plus a small balcony. The bathrooms are lovely and have separate areas for washing, toilet and shower. Supplies and robes are provided along with umbrella, safe and a walking stick in each closet. Flat screen TV in the room. The remote was in a changeable case. Towels were placed at the door each day and any other incidentals needed required a call to the front desk. Daily room service did not exist due to covid.
The lodge is a really special place for moms and daughters, lovers, etc. There is a very clean indoor pool with two hot tubs with running waterfalls--really beautiful. The wet sauna was eucalyptus infused and just fabulous. The entire women's retreat area was immaculate and the staff most helpful. Water shoes are provided along with lockers for your personal items.
A full menu of spa services is available at the facility and online. In addition, there are many other activities which involve walks, hikes, yoga, stretching, meditation, arts/crafts etc. There is no end to what is available with most included in your room rate charge.
The food is more than plentiful and good with three meals provided per day per person. .
The entire staff, stores, spa, activities center were and are wonderfully cheerful and accommodating. I highly recommend the Lodge at Woodloch and do intent to return.

Incredibly special gem of a resort in the Poconos. On 500 acres with attention to every detail: impeccably clean, beautifully-maintained, staffed by kind, helpful, friendly people who seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs. As much food as possible comes from their own farm, run by an equally-lovely man who is more than happy to show you everything they're growing. There is an outdoor hot tub, an indoor pool, and all kinds of saunas, steam rooms, even a "snow room." Tons of classes and workshops to choose from, from the more traditional aerobics classes to water pole dancing and crystal healing. Full-service spa with all the offerings - facials, massages, healing modalities. The food is delicious and plentiful. We really can't wait to come back.
