What a fantastic way to celebrate a 60th birthday. Everything was perfect: treatments, food, exercise, classes, wine, rooms and ambiance. The entire trip is a do-over, many times over I hope!!!! I loved that we could be as active or sedentary as we liked and eat very health or have some indulgences too. Very peaceful and grownup.

We came back for an overnight stay. Everything I wrote in the 2014 review remains valid. Because we booked last minute, we couldn't get any spa appointments but we had a good time anyway with the pool area, classes, gym and 3 good meals. Desserts could use a bit of work but basically the food is very good. It's a... More

The Lodge at Woodloch is absolutely perfect in every way. Amenities, location, services, food, and staff are second-to-none, and the options for spa, food, activities and lodging are myriad and all exceed expectations. This is a wonderful multi-day treat for couples, friends or families, and can't be recommended highly enough.

Nothing more relaxing then driving through the gate, having your car parked, and entering a world of tranquility. Having an amazing array of exercise classes, spa treatments, and the indoor pool and outdoor jacuzzi. The woods, the lakefront with the kayaks and paddle boards, the fabulous cuisine, and wonderful staff. It is my piece of summer that I relish every... More

We have been here twice and enjoyed our experience both times. The guests during this trip were much nicer than our first trip. Some folks were very pretentious during our first visit. This time around, every one was very nice and down to earth. I absolutely love the art classes that they have at Woodloch. I have some great pieces... More

Context: I've been to spas in California, Utah, Arizona. If you've followed that path, you'll understand the difference here: red rock country hiking versus piney woods strolls. A week's worth of somewhat austere New Age woo-woo/Zen inflections vs. warmth, heartiness,two-day all-girl reunions. (Yeah, they actually use creme fraiche in the chicken salad here. and it's fantastic.) Not fair to compare,... More

My husband & I celebrated our 15th anniversary here, and it was wonderful. The food was delicious - favorites were the crab roll, cranberry bread, iced tea and chocolate chocolate-chip cookies! The spa was amazing. So many options to choose from to relax - we tried them all! The nature walk was a really nice way to see some of... More

The tiniest detail was taken care of. After my daughter's wedding on Sunday, I needed to destress. From the time we entered the gates, to the moment they were waiting for us at the reception area, every detail was taken care of. We were greeted with nothing but smiles and amazing service. The food is excellent and the waitresses were... More

This was our first experience here. It was extremely peaceful, and is located on a beautiful piece of property on a lake. My wife and I wanted a get away, and we took advantage of the activities. Many exercise and yoga classes are available. We did the bosu class and body pump which were great workouts with great instructors (the... More
