    Annual mother/daughter trip
This was our 6th year going to The Lodge in July. Our rooms have always been beautiful but this year even more so as our room opened directly in front of the waterfall with a bird feeder so we could watch the birds. The staff, as usual, were welcoming, helpful and cheerful. While there were slight differences due to the pandemic, for the most part we didn't feel the difference. We saw constant wiping down of high tough areas - railings, door handles, etc. We loved the new patio with the added fire pit, although we didn't eat there. We enjoyed some classes in the gym, some art classes, massages, pool time and lots of outdoor activities, as we have in past years. I'm already looking forward to next year. And just an added review..the last day we always spend at their sister resort, Woodloch Pines. It was wonderful this year with less people but still the same amount of fun.
E3743NCcindyr - Thank you so much for your kind comments! We were so pleased to welcome you back to The Lodge, and are so pleased you were able to find so many different activities to enjoy. We can't wait to welcome you both back again for trip # 7!

    Wonderful, relaxing vacation!
My family and I have vacationed at Woodloch Pines for many years. This was the first time my boyfriend and I have stayed at the Lodge at Woodloch. We absolutely loved our time there, even with some restrictions in place due to COVID-19. I loved the hiking trails and visiting the Sanctuary - so tranquil! Even with the COVID-19 restrictions in place, there were so many outdoor activities to partake in, including kayaking and paddle boarding. The food was delicious and Mitch was a fantastic, attentive waiter. We were able to have our meals outdoor on the terrace or we enjoyed our meals inside our room on our balcony. We also spent a majority of our visit at the pool and hot tub. Lastly, the resort was EXTREMELY clean. The employees were constantly cleaning and there are hand sanitizing stations all over the property. The staff at the Lodge at Woodloch has done a fantastic job and I am excited to revisit in the future!
dia230 - Thank you so much for your kind comments! We are so happy to hear that our efforts to protect both our guests and staff during this time have been well received. We are very fortunate to be able to still offer so many exciting outdoor activities, we are so pleased to hear you enjoyed utilizing them! We hope to welcome you back soon!

Nice resort - some room for improvement
We recently returned from a three night stay and a much needed getaway. Highlights: * The garden dinner was outstanding. The food was delicious and we loved the wine pairings. * I enjoyed the spa. I was hesitant at first given covid, but the Woodloch team did a great job with precautions. The Rosemary Awakening treatment with Holly was AMAZING. * We enjoyed the outdoor activities and found the staff at each location very helpful and kind * The take-out food offering works well. If you don't want to eat inside, you can either pick up or have meals delivered to your room. * There is live music inside every night and outside on Sundays. Lowlights: * The construction is much more disturbing than the description lead us to believe. It is right by the main part of the building which means that you hear the construction EVERYWHERE. The trucks are constantly beeping as they move around, sawing starts early in the morning, etc. There is no peace and quiet whether you are sitting on the porch of your room, at the fire pit or one of the hammocks. * There is no housekeeping offered which is inconsistent with many other hotels and resorts that have returned to providing the service, or at least the option to have the service. * The pillows are not good, I recommend bringing your own. * The dock is small and there is limited lake-side seating or room to fish. * Class numbers are restricted due to covid which means they fill up quickly.
kjanthony13 - Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts about your recent stay with us! We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your garden dinner experience and spa treatments, and we will be sure to pass along your compliments to Holly and our Outdoor Experiences team. We would like to apologize for the construction noises you experienced during your time here. This light construction will be wrapped up in just a few short weeks, and we can't wait to share our new expansion with you during your next visit! In addition, regarding your housekeeping service and pillows - in an effort to create as safe of an environment as possible for both our guests and our team, we have paused in-room housekeeping service, and replaced that with fresh sheet and towel delivery to each room every morning of your stay. Also due to Covid restrictions, we have needed to pause our popular Pillow Menu program, which would have been a great way for an alternate pillow style to be delivered to your room. In spite of the new policies we are having to operate under, we truly hope you enjoyed your time here and will be able to join us again soon!

I have been to The Lodge at Woodloch many times and it never disappoints. From driving onto property we are greeted with a smile, the bellmen and front desk team always welcome us as if we were family. This visit we had the pleasure of meeting Chef Kate at our garden dinners and it was extra special meeting Chef Nok, the guest chef that weekend. The food was spectacular both nights! For breakfast and lunch we had Maureen as our server and she was excellent! So attentive and personable and made sure we had everything we needed and then some! Amy was our evening server and she always remembers us when we visit. She was so helpful setting up our dessert delivery and when we forgot our bottle of wine at dinner she had it ready to go with our dessert. We took the crystals class with Vanessa and she was spectacular. Such great energy and very knowledgeable. The spa is always beautiful and well maintained. I did the restful retreat massage and it was wonderful. Thank you Woodloch for always welcoming us back to so much love! We cannot wait for our next trip!

Everything from the staff, to the spa treatments and facilities, to the food, to the accommodations and overall environment/property are truly flawless. Our room was so beautifully appointed and spotless. We did not encounter one thing, anywhere, that we thought could use improvement. We enjoyed the garden dinner, which was magical, and there are endless options for indoor and outdoor activities. There is also a gallery hallway of original artwork for sale, a gorgeous gift shop, and hair/nail salon. You'll never want to leave! Truly a unique, five star experience.

An exceptional 5 star experience from the moment I arrived. The spa and hotel are gorgeous, clean and so welcoming. My spa treatment was wonderful. Every employee I spoke with was not only helpful, but made me feel special and important. Our room was beautiful, spotless and restful. We ate in the dining room as well as ate in the garden for dinner. The meals were phenomenal! The garden dinner was paired with wine and had the most wonderful atmosphere. We received a tour around the garden by one of the gardners which was such a highlight! The next day we enjoyed walking around the property enjoying nature and the wildlife. My experience was far more than I could have dreamed. I can't wait to come back!

The resort is amazing from the moment you arrive. The lodge is beautiful, clean, and full of food, spa services, and activities all geared to provide a blissful experience. My daughter and I went for a Mother/Daughter weekend. Our room (208) looked out over beautiful grounds and each morning there were numerous deer grazing just outside our balcony. The food - every meal - was just amazing. There were drinks and snacks at every turn. You won't go hungry! The spa services were great, and not just the services, but the spa itself is a must to spend a day hanging out in the salt sauna, snow room, hot tubs, and under the waterfall. We had a pedicure, massage, and facial. All were spectacular. Many guests don't take full advantage of the outdoor activities but they're also great. We did kayaking, paddle boarding, fly casting/fishing, smores, a bird watching class, and more. You can choose to fill your days or just sit in any of the quiet lush rooms or serene outdoor deck. For as many people as they serve here, we never felt like it was crowded. The staff were all wonderful and accommodating, too many to recognize all by name. Greg and (blond with pig tails) at the SUP, kayaks and smores. RJ with the birds. Grace with the fly casting. Our Scottish pedicurist. So, so many more, from the spa and reception staff to waiters, etc. We had an incredible time and are already saying we'll need to do it again. I highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left PURE BLISS! Everything, I mean everything is AMAZING. The staff, the linens, the food, the spa services (my sister had Reflexology, Soaking Bath with Eucalyptus, followed by a Rosemary Awakening, and I had a Traditional Eastern Therapeutic Bodywork session w/ Eric Oliva (LIFE CHANGING!) I also had a Soaking Bath with CDB, followed by a Rosemary Awakening. I cannot wait to go back again and again and again!

Spent the holiday weekend at this lodge and absolutely LOVED it. The décor is rustic and modern. It felt as if I was visiting a friends mountain home for the weekend. The staff are amazing, always polite, always helpful, always respectful, and always available. There are plenty of activities on site. I mostly went there for the spa treatments so focused on those for my activities, but I did also go on a guided nature walk and tried kayaking for the first time. The lodge is adults only. I have nothing against children, but it was nice to have a kid free zone for a few days. I also liked that tech devices were to be muted or on vibrate while in the common areas. This is not saying you cannot have your device. It is only saying to keep it quiet which added to the peacefulness of the environment. The lodge provides each guest with a tote bag and water bottle for use during their stay. These items are no extra charge and yours to keep. I was not expecting to be given a gift upon my arrival. My first thought was…how nice….they thought of everything. The tote was super useful for my visits to the spa and the water bottle helped to stay hydrated while in the spa or doing the other outdoor activities. Many thanks to the lodge for providing these items. It was much appreciated. The room décor was modern and clean. My room was on the main floor which was convenient. It had a balcony with a view of a small, landscaped waterfall. There were plenty of electrical outlets. All were in convenient locations for charging devices. I loved that they provided slippers and robes for guests. Walking sticks are available in each room for hiking around the grounds. (How cool is that!) The toiletries are plentiful. I personally enjoyed the turn down service. Most hotels do not provide this service, but it is one of my favorites. The bed it turned down, a printout of the next day’s schedule is provided, there is a card with a daily positive quote and a piece of chocolate. The room is also serviced by replacing towels and toiletries. The extra attention made me feel very special and a bit pampered. Food is included as part of the room cost. This includes three meals daily. The food is quality dishes. Some of my dinner selections included freshly made pappardelle with lobster and diver scallops. I did eat vegetarian on night and ordered Indian fried rice. Dinner is three courses plus dessert. All the meal were delicious and well prepared. Alcohol is available but not included in the cost. The spa area is very impressive. Men’s facilities, women’s facilities, and co-ed areas. Very clean. Staff available for assistance. Plenty of amenities…lockers, showers, personal care products, a sauna, a hot tube, and a private screened lounge. Water, tea, and healthy snacks are available. The co-ed area is where you find the pool facilities. There is a nice outdoor infinity hot tube which overlooks a lily pond. Very relaxing to just sit in the warm water and breath in the fresh air. There are lounge chairs near the infinity tub for enjoying the sun. Oddly enough, they even provide sunscreen. (They really did think of everything!) I would highly recommend the lodge (as you can tell from my lengthy review). You will not regret a visit to the lodge. I can guarantee I will be visiting again in the future.

Escaped with a girlfriend for a 2 night 3 day much needed mini vacation. To say that our expectations were exceeded would not do The Lodge at Woodloch justice. We were treated so beautifully by every single staff member we encountered - it was as if they just couldn't do enough for us. I had 2 EXCEPTIONAL spa services (a massage with Alex and a body polish with Morgan) that were better than any other spa service I've ever had. The food was delicious and the kitchen was incredibly accommodating, especially to my friend who has some food allergies. Dishes were reconfigured so she was able to enjoy everything with zero anxiety. The grounds are gorgeous, we took walks, sat at the lake and visited the farm. All great. I kept thinking how quickly can I get back to Woodloch? My friend and I decided that this is going to be a yearly ritual for us. So if I don't see you sooner, we'll see you next year. Thank you all for making our mini vacation so memorable.
