Had dinner reservations with friends for a party of 6. We were celebrating a birthday and anniversary. We placed our order including appetizers and entrees. The food took over an hour to come out and it al came out together. We never got apps out first, which is usually the norm. The food was just ok and Nothing spectacular. The truffle fries were $11 and were just normal steak fries with no truffle oil taste what so ever! We will never go back. The only reason we gave 2 stars was the views are beautiful! Go on a hike and take your pictures for free and save your money!

Hi Karen, We’re sorry you had a disappointing experience at Glass-wine.bar.kitchen. We’re honored you chose to celebrate such special occasions with us and apologize that you were let down. We were short-staffed on the evening of your visit, but we regret that it affected your dinner. Providing guests with superior service and incomparable quality are among our highest priorities. We apologize that we seem to have fallen short in this instance. Thank you for sharing a review. If you would like to discuss anything further, please reach out directly to our manager, Doug, at Dbrigandi@Settlershospitality.com

The marketing was done so well which is why I wanted to give this boutique hotel in Hawley a try. My room not including the bathroom on the first floor was about 117 sq/ft (approx. 13’x9’) for over $200 per night. Bathroom was fine but the sleeping area was small (as opposed to “cozy”). Like other similar reviews, the lobby and waterfalls were nice but the room you actually paid for was disappointingly small and outdated. No front desk service after hours so can’t even get a can of soda at 10PM. The Cocoon coffee and bakery was not well stocked and like the Ledge Hotel, well marketed but does not match its reality. Ate dinner at the Settler’s Inn which was good but at Manhattan prices. It’s a one and done for me in this place. Maybe for other people what I mentioned is not a priority but I will not be back.

HI Pal88, We’re sorry you were disappointed in your stay at Ledges Hotel. As you may know our boutique hotel is housed in a repurposed glass factory that dates to the 1890s. We do offer a variety of room types from compact European style guestrooms to two-bedroom suites. If you browse the offerings, you may find something more suitable to your needs. There is an innkeeper on site 24/7 that you may call with any questions or problems. We’re sorry if that wasn’t communicated. We apologize Cocoon Coffeehouse and Bakery wasn’t fully stocked at the time of your visit. The coffeehouse is extremely popular, and the freshly baked treats and gourmet pastries go fast! We hope you’ll return and give us another opportunity to show you what makes Ledges Hotel one of the most popular destinations in the Poconos.

Beautiful Facility, Great Staff, I can’t say anything bad,. Well worth the money. Went during pandemic and still was a good time , some packages include food credits at the restaurant in the two hotels. Breakfast included. Overall great value.

Recommended as a special get away, our experience was disappointing. The contemporary 2 room we had was more like an upscale youth hostel room. The thermostat never seemed to work, the shower temperature was never very warm, but was totally cold on the final day. Contact with reception about thermostat and shower temperature were met with ambivalence unfortunately, or no solution. As one of the reception people told us, the best thing about their job was that they got to read their novels. Information that could have made our stay more comfortable - e.g. availability of ice only during reception hours - would have been helpful but was never offered: we had to ask first (and before reception closed). I phoned prior to our stay to establish whether there were coffee machines in our room, and was given incorrect information (I could have brought my own had I been given correct information). Although coffee is meant to be available in the reception, it was frequently (75% of the time) empty or cold. It was made to clear to us that it was an enormous bother when reception were asked about when coffee might be available. The setting is beautiful, and the lounge area really nice. I don't think that we would choose to stay here again as we felt the room was not good value for the price we paid. I hate writing this review as I know how difficult it is to find staff at the current time, so I hope some of these points might help with staff training or information provided in the rooms.

The front staff was courteous and helpful. The common area was nice and accommodating. The setting is gorgeous and overlooks a waterfall. Free kayak or paddleboard rental is included if you travel down to the Silver Birches Resort. That was a plus. However: Our room was about the size of small cruise ship cabin and lacked amenities. No closet, dresser or really anywhere to put your things. The carpet is old and needs to be replaced . I think it is fine for a one night stay. Thank goodness we had nice weather and didn’t need to be in the room except to sleep. The restaurant, “Glass,” was highly rated but was so short-staffed we didn’t get seated until an hour after our reservation time. The wait staff did their best, given the situation. If they have larger rooms, I may go back in the future during ski season if the price is commensurate with the accommodations.

Stayed here for three nights for a much needed getaway with my lovely wife. The setting for the hotel/restaurant is very cool, nestled right next to some small waterfalls that provide the perfect view during dinner. The two story room we had was very large, and the two person shower was a nice touch. Only complaint about the room would be it was so hot - AC didn't seem like it could keep up. Room was very pricey, but we knew that before we signed up, as this was a getaway to treat ourselves to a place we normally would not go to due to price. On site restaurant was a hit with us, as was the coffee house on top of the hill where breakfast was served each morning. The nearby shops in the old silk mill were an added plus. All in all had a very nice stay, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a romantic getaway. Warning - parking is a little sketchy only because people park where they shouldn't to avoid a little bit of a walk,

Second time at the hotel. Good little boutique hotel and worth considering for a short stay. The staff are all friendly and very helpful. Highlight was the hostess behind the bar on the Sunday evening. She was delightful. Room was good. Lacks some facilities such as breakfast is off premise but this shouldn’t spoil the stay.

My husband and I enjoyed a nice dinner here for our anniversary. Our room was simple but comfortable. The view is beautiful. Our only complaint was we were given room keys and upon entry there was someone in the room. We surprised them and ourselves! The front desk apologized and gave us another room. The next day someone walked in our room and surprised my husband. Not sure what is up with the keys but that was unsettling. The hotel could use some maintenance and upkeep but I know everyone is trying to come back from covid. Overall it was nice and I would go back.

A very nice boutique hotel. The rooms are on the small size but very functional and clean. The setting next to a waterfall is a bonus to be enjoyed both by sight and sound. We had to leave one day early - the staff was very understanding and waived any penalty.
