We loved this place! It is very relaxing, quiet, and we slept through the sound of the waterfall. It might be quiet because of the time of the year - winter. We got the corner room with the best view room 202. You have to take one flight of stairs to the room entrance, and another flight of stairs to our bed. The room is average but the hotel in general have good customer service. No complains. We loved the Glass restaurant, great food and excellent service! The breakfast is nothing special but they give a coupon to a restaurant if you don’t want to wake up early for the breakfast. Don’t miss this! The restaurant is a quick drive from the hotel but they have great food!! We went there for lunch after our check out and used the coupon. We’d go back here again.. maybe next winter!
This is our second stay. We will definitely be staying again. 1st time was in a standard room, 2nd a suite. The rooms are fresh, clean, nice decor. The front desk staff is friendly & helpful, the sitting area with a fireplace is inviting. We have never tried the restaurant but have heard good things, we love wallenpaulpak brewery!
This hotel has 2 different personalities. Some rooms have a distinctly modern, Scandinavian edge and others have the spiral staircase/vintage/traditional/tight feel. In my opinion, I prefer the modern edge at this property and hope that the management upgrades the "old" rooms to "newer" aesthetic. There is a living room anchoring the hotel that proved great for our wedding party, especially since it was pre-Christmas time and a great picture taking opportunity. The "rocks" refer to the dramatic slate "ledges" that serve as the backdrop to the hotel. Stunning photos were taken with that as the backdrop. The front desk manager (he name escapes me) filled me in on some interesting local history to boot! My nephew's brewery Hopping Eagle is just up the road!
My husband and I just got home from our little getaway and I couldn't wait to sit down and write a review for Ledges Hotel. We were greeted by Barbara and Jasmine they were so warm and welcoming. The main sitting area is gorgeous, then step through the doors leading out onto the deck to enjoy the natural beauty of the Falls. The grounds were beautiful ( the weather wasn't great rainy and dismal, but we made the best of it.) The room ( 102 specifically) although small ,which was fine for us,was CLEAN and so cozy. Our view was of the back patio and the falls ! The bed sheets were like butter ! (and they offer them for purchase at front desk, yes they are that soft ! ) A continental breakfast in the main sitting area was fresh croissants, butter jam, danish and fruit. The tea is incredible ,try a few ;) You can go to Settlers Hotel and have a full breakfast, however we chose not to. We enjoyed breakfast, then sat in the area by the fireplace. It was SO relaxing. Over all I cannot say enough about our stay. Barbara and Jasmine were so kind and genuine, felt like we knew them forever. My husband and I will definitely be returning, possibly in the Summer to experience more the hotel has to offer. Such a hidden gem. I am thrilled we found this hotel. :)…
This is the perfect place for date night. The waterfalls are so beautiful and there are many different decks outside to enjoy them from different views. The food was absolutely delicious! I recommend the steak. They serve small plates so be sure to order a variety of different things. We will definitely be back!
