Romantic, elegant and tastefully decorated, circa 1809 colonial brick home, excellently located in Lancaster County Pennsylvania Amish farm region, minutes away from many Amish attractions and other points of interest. Rooms are filled with antiques and have private baths. Enjoy our gardens, fountains and gazebo all year long. Two cottages with two bedrooms and a kitchen are also on site.

What a wonderful weekend stay ! My husband and I visited Lancaster to purchase some furniture. Let me say that we have been to Lancaster numerous times and never stay at the same place. All the places we have ever stayed were always fine but never where we were anxious to return. We have finally found our return B and B. Robert greeted us with genuine interest and care in our stay. Luis cooked !! What delicious breakfasts tending to our dietary needs. After Eight is the quintessential bed and breakfast. Wonderful bedrooms and common areas so beautifully decorated. Everything was clean and comfortable. Parking was easy. After Eight is conveniently located on the main road. We will definitely returning to After Eight ! Thank you for a wonderful four days !

The After Eight Bed and Breakfast is charming in its decor - in the bedrooms, in the common areas of the house, and in the back yard with its flower garden. The dining area is stocked with snacks and drinks for the guests, and the sitting rooms have puzzles and amazing clocks on the wall, among other items of interest. The door lock system is simple, which makes coming and going easy, and there is a porch area for relaxing outside. A delicious gourmet breakfast is served every morning, and the wonderful aromas seem to linger in the house all day long. Our mattress was extremely comfortable as were the pillows, and everything was clean and fresh smelling. Our particular room had grab bars in the bathroom near the commode and in the walk-in shower, and these were very necessary for me as a senior with limited mobility. Thank you, Robert.

The room, as always, was fantastic. Every breakfast is the way one should wake up every morning. Robert always makes sure that he knows our likes and even more importantly, our dislikes and makes his dishes to accommodate us. Rooms are always clean and have the most up-to-date features, while maintaining an old world charm.

We have stayed at After 8 a few times now and every time has been perfect. Robert pays very close attention to detail in everything he does. Every room is immaculate. Breakfast is always awesome from fresh fruit to a savory breakfast bake. This is definitely a gem in the Lancaster area.

After Eight B&B goes above your expectations in a B&B. The breakfasts are excellent and presented to you with great care during the pandemic. Luis makes sure to cook only what you can eat, if you have an allergies or food intolerances he will make sure your breakfast coincides with your diet.
The place is extremely clean. Very well kept. If you need any help from suggestions of entertainment, dining or directions Robert (Innkeeper) is always able to help. A very relaxing and stress free vacation. Robert and Luis cater to your needs. Looking forward to returning again this year to our home away from home!

We totally enjoyed our 6 night stay at this beautiful B&B. Robert and Louis are wonderful hosts. The breakfasts were varied and delicious. Our room was exceptional with a great Jacuzzi tub. It took a little time to adjust to the vehicular noise as the road is very busy but the bed was very comfortable. The whole B&B is meticulously clean. There was always coffee available along with sodas, snacks, brownies, etc, The location is excellent for enjoying The Amish area as well as visiting Hershey(45min,) Gettysburg (90min), and the incredible gardens of Longwood(40min). There are many good restaurants in the area. The Revere Tavern was exceptional. We strongly recommend this B&B.

After Eight Bed & Breakfast is an absolute gem. I originally had reservations to stay at a hotel for a weekend getaway with my husband but decided to stay in a bed and breakfast at the last minute. I searched the internet and came across After Eight Bed & Breakfast, and I'm so happy I did. When we arrived, we found the grounds immaculately kept, and there was enough parking space. Robert, the Inn Keeper, was so friendly and welcoming. The inside of the B&B was clean and beautifully decorated. The atmosphere was inviting and made us feel like we were home away from home. Our bedroom had a private entrance and was beautiful. We were impressed with the attention to detail, even in the smallest things such as makeup remover, shoe polish cloth, plastic hair bonnet, etc. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the bedsheets soft. The living room, sitting area, and kitchen were spacious and beautifully decorated as well. My husband and I were so comfortable there that we hardly left anywhere. Every morning we woke up to a delicious gourmet breakfast prepared by Luis and there was snacks and coffee to enjoy throughout the day. After Eight, B&B will be our go-to place whenever we visit the area. It far exceeds a 4-star hotel stay and was affordable! I can say so much more but it would take too long. Thank you, Robert and Luis. I already made reservations for August!

We made reservations based on our son and daughter-in-law's experience. And After Eight did not disappoint! The location is convenient to most attractions and to the city of Lancaster. Robert is a genial and helpful host and Luis' breakfasts are artistry. Our room was comfortable and the common areas welcoming with puzzles set out for guests to enjoy and checkers in the screened gazebo. We especially enjoyed the patio area. We picked up carryout or Amish specialties for several al fresco meals. A small fridge in the eating area made great storage for leftovers. The common areas are generously stocked with a variety of teas and coffee, as well as soft drinks and snacks such as granola bars. Overall, just the relaxed few days we had wanted.

After months of Covid-19 lockdown at home, and after getting both Pfizer vaccinations, I decided to venture out for a weekend in the country at After Eight B&B. After checking in I drove down the road for a light dinner at one of the many local restaurants. After a refreshing night’s sleep in my very comfortable room with a view of surrounding farmland, I went downstairs for a delicious breakfast served by Inkeeper Robert Hall. I toured the area on backroads, enjoying lunch, a farmer’s market, and locally made ice-cream that was so much richer and better than the commercial stuff. I headed home the next morning after another excellent breakfast.

This was our first time staying at the After Eight B&B but it won't be our last. It's a very well kept home, very clean and comfortable. There are 2 common rooms to sit that are decorated very nicely and also a puzzle for anyone who wanted to work on. The kitchen area is set up very pretty with complementary snacks/drinks/ice/microwave popcorn anytime of day/night. The breakfast each morning was delightful beginning with a bowl of fresh cut-up fruit. Robert, the innkeeper/host personally took us to our room and made us feel welcomed.
We enjoyed our 2 day stay and hope to go back next time we are in Lancaster, PA.

The Porch Room has a shower and bath tub combination. Some rooms have showers, one has a Jacuzzi bath tub and one has a whirlpool tub. We do not have any hot tubs. If you click on the link to our website you can see pictures related to each of the guest rooms.
There are more places to choose from in the Gordonville area.
