I stay in hotels approx 100 times a year. I have seen a tremendous shift in the communication skills and cleanliness of the hotel since Christine took over. The rooms are spacious, the water is always hot and the pressure is great, the HVAC works and the mattresses are fairly if not brand new.

My wife and I have stayed here several times in the last few years and have always been pleased. Not any more. There were piles of dirty laundry and garbage (not trash) in the hallways for days; the staff was untrained and inept; our air conditioner did not work despite temps in the 50’s; mask use by staff and guests was not enforced; and what appeared to be large family groups were living in the hotel. Avoid this failing trap.

One night stay during trip to Longwood. Room was very clean, had comfortable beds, which I am always thankful for. (Nothing out of the ordinary.). Hallways were a little dingy. Did not use any amenities. Good price for the area. Close to restaurants.

Our family stayed here 2 years ago for a wedding - the hotel was in ok condition then, So we returned to the area Aug 2020 and booked 2 nights. Upon arrival, we took the elevator to our floor only to step out and be greeted by a Pitbull sitting on the common area couch - lack of AC in hallway although the AC was blowing air and reading 67, it was definitely at least 80 - then walked to our room to find black mold /mildew clearly visible in AC vents and room reeked of stale smoke. So I asked for another room only to walk in and have that room stink worse than the first of old smoke smell. How is it that at every hotel when checking in, you sign and initial area stating “no smoking policy” and that there is something like $300 fine for smoking in room but never any follow up! That was it! This was only the 2nd time in my life (filled with tons of business and personal travel) that I immediately checked out of hotel. I can’t understand why they are renovating the outside when the owners need to gut and overhaul the INTERIOR. Do not stay here!!…
