This is easy. "Ditto" on all the other excellent reviews. When is the last time you stayed at a motel, out in the country, with a covered veranda, where you could just slow down, have a beer out front in a comfortable chair, look at the woods, and kick-back? No stress. That's The Green Roof Inn. Nice room. Clean. Roomy. Comfortable bed. Fridge. Micro. Solid shower. Plentiful ice for every need. And very reasonably priced. Then there is Joyce, the manger. She couldn't be more attentive and professional. People like Joyce can make or break such establishments. She was wonderful. In short, a great motel. There is a reason why they have a solid repeat customer base. Make your reservation in advance. And do note how they cater to the needs of fishermen. We will be back. Thanks, again, for a great stay.

I give this place 5 starts but I would give Joyce 100 if I could. We were in desperate need of a place to stay and we are so glad that Joyce answered our call after hours. She was so extremely accommodating, she went above and beyond and helped us with everything that we needed and more. She truly was our guardian angel because we would have been stranded with out her. We felt comfortable and safe at this Inn. It was also incredibly peaceful, super clean and dog friendly. We ended up here by chance but we are so appreciative for meeting her and for getting the opportunity to experience this cute little place. We would love to come back especially just to hang out with Joyce!

Stayed one night while walleye fishing on Lake Erie. This place really caters to fishermen. They have a fish cleaning station, supply guests with free ice for your coolers and plenty of parking for boats. The front desk clerk was very helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.

We stayed at the Green Roof Inn after last minute arrangements didn't work out. They were able to accommodate us and did so with great service, friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and a beautiful property. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The motel is clean and quiet but we had some issues. The key to our room did not work and it took nearly an hour for management to resolve. Apparently this is an ongoing issue and they were polite in addressing but not really something we wanted to deal with at the end of a long driving day. The mattress definitely needs replacing and extra pillows would be helpful. Breakfast was adequate and the areas to walk your dog were plentiful. Overall we would stay again but hope they fix the key issues before we return!

I stayed one night at this Motel and found it to be clean and had a wonderful nights sleep. Staff were friendly and check-in smooth. The complimentary breakfast was typical but seemed so comfortable and more like you’d be doing in your own kitchen. Very homey! I was traveling alone and felt safe as could be! Fishermen use this hotel a lot as it’s near Lake Erie and there was also a Family housed next to me with 2 young children as well. The Motel has 20 rooms so you park right outside your room making it ideal for motorcycles as well. It’s just 1.8 miles off I90 near Erie PA, but most ideal for those not seeking night life, trucking stuff upstairs and elevators... and feels just like those homey motels of yester year. Close to the Lake. I recommend highly!

On a cross country trip and rented based on reviews that day. $85 for a double room. It wasn’t super fancy but it had everything and was very clean. Arrived late and they took care of getting us keys - no problem. Breakfast was better than the big chains and they accepted our dog too. Great experience!

When I got to their hotel the manager called housekeeping to get me in earlier. They accommodated me with my room so much appreciated. I can't say enough good about the Green Roof Inn.
