If you need a quick break from the hustle and the bustle; this inn provides beautiful views and a place to rest. We enjoyed the hospitality of the innkeepers. The cabin was very clean and inviting. The breakfast was suburb. They have beautiful Morgan breed of horses that were fun to watch and have woods that you can walk in....

Thank you so much for your kind words. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay and took advantage of some of the unheralded gems in our area. We look forward to your return, especially now that everything is in bloom and the pool is about to open. We're picking fresh rhubarb now, and the berries are close behind!

Sun and cricket weekend getaway strives to give you a quiet, serene setting with absolute cleanliness and conveniences unexpected. Even hair dryers are provided in individual baths at The Log Cabin. You don't need to take any books; floor to ceiling bookcases are overflowing with every genre of both fiction and non fiction. There are loads of audio books, some...

Stayed for 2 nights in the Carriage house, which sits above the horse stalls. The property is gorgeous...pictures could not possibly do it justice. Very private; landscaping very nice. What I really liked about this place was the fact that you didn't have the feeling that you were "staying in someone else's house as a guest." I tend to veer...

We recently enjoyed a lovely, relaxing three-night stay in Sun and Cricket's wonderful Log Cabin. I cannot rave enough about the accommodation as well as the overall generous hospitality that Tara and John offered. The log cabin and the property's grounds are idyllic. The moment we walked into the cabin we immediately felt at home. The cabin is extremely clean...

We needed lodging for our family to attend a family funeral in the area. I felt the Sun & Cricket option was a nice alternative to booking two hotel rooms in a more commercial, retail area. I'm so glad we did! The grounds and accommodations could not have been more lovely! Although we did not have much time to enjoy...

The wife and I were visiting Pittsburgh to see my sick grandfather and also to introduce my wife to family that did not make our wedding (we got married in Vegas!). The property itself is beautiful, its a well maintained farm. We stayed in the carriage house, which is very comfortable. The bed was cozy and although the tv is...

We have visited this B&B a few times and prefer to stay at B&B's when we travel. Where do I begin - the food, the location (A working farm)... The wild turkeys and ease to get to Pittsburgh and other attractions, yet come back and relax in the country. Excellent!!! Your day starts with one of the best (if not...

We stayed for 2 nights between Kentucky and Washington DC. Despite Google maps trying to mislead us, we did find the Sun and Cricket and so pleased we did. Wild deer and wild turkeys greeted us out on the meadows. Perfect quiet and peace with two very enjoyable hosts who made us very comfortable. Once you know the 'back roads'...

My husband and I love B&Bs. My sister was getting married and I found this incredible B&B very close to her house. I thought it was going to be fine... Well we were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations and the great attention Tara and her husband gave us. The bed was so comfortable and the room/cottage immaculate clean. We stayed...
