spent 2 years as seasonal campers at the campground. no water pressure to shower smelled like sewage. Owners are rude and unfriendly. Swingers live in the campground. The trees are all dead. WE had one fall on our truck at the beginning of the season. we were outside when this happened and so where our kids. had it been a...

Positives: We came at the end of the season so things were pretty quiet. I can see where there would be lots of things for kids to do but we enjoyed the peace and quiet and DAISY!! She was fun to have around. Close drive to Gettysburg. Negatives: Leaving I-81 and driving on HWY 34 is narrow and slow and...

Had a great time there. Crafts and pumpkin carving which our grandson really enjoyed. The hayride and haunted trail was scary but not too scary for younger children. Nice campground that is well maintained, nice bath houses and crew that runs the campground.

Spent 2 horrendous nights at this DUMP! Check-in was 3 pm, with a $5 charge to check-in early. There is also not an additional $5 charge for 50 amp service PER DAY! Advertise as "big rig friendly, but as we tried to pull in to our site, we ALMOST ripped out an overhead power line with our AC unit, which...

Nice family camping. Lots to do for kids and adults. We rented a travel trailer for weekend. Great activities for entire family. Bathrooms were very clean and modern. Staff is very nice and helpful. Will camp here again.

We recently stayed 4 nights for a large family party. On the plus side, the grounds and facilities are neat and organized and the staff is helpful and friendly. It was a great place for a large group with activities for all. On the other hand the sites are often very close together and not very level (right to limit...

This was our first time staying at Deer Run and we are already planning our next visit. This campground is family run (they took care to be involved and on hand for activities and when needed) and a great place to stay if you are looking for a quiet, well maintained campground. Our kids (ages 9-13) had a blast playing...

This camp ground is well hidden back in the country. Was a little challenging getting in and out with a big rig. The grounds are kept well. Bathrooms could use a little sprucing up. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I just felt like the price could should have been a little lower all things considered and compared to other...

Overall good campground. Sites can be a bit tight. All sites are stone, no grass on most sites (kind of a bummer). Beware of electrical service. Most sites are limited to 30 Amp. Had a few 50 Amp units in our row and the service was tripping out (really hot and humid weekend). They are working on upgrading, but this...

Owners bend over backwards to make your stay fun, relaxing, friendly and in a beautiful setting. We will be returning in September with our camping group of 8 rigs. The sites are easy to get in and out of Campground is always clean and neat since we have been coming for the last 6 years..
