We were looking forward to a lovely elegant evening but were sadly disappointed. Since there had been some bad weather that day, we called hoping to secure a reservation thinking there had been cancellations. We readily were given a reservation and were looking forward to a wonderful evening. We arrived early on purpose so we could sit at the bar...

I can't tell you how many times I've ridden right past the Golden Pheasant. Figured it was most a formal dinner place. Was I wrong. I was out for a ride with my wife and stopped for the stop sign; we were planning to eat further South, but decided to try the Inn. Great decision. They had perhaps 8 craft...

My husband and I celebrated our 8 year anniversary with supper at Golden Pheasant Inn. The atmosphere is simple and elegant. The soft lighting felt very welcoming. We started off with oysters, the local ingredient fiddle head fern salad, and mushroom soup. It was all so delicious and enjoyable!! I'm a mushroom lover and that soup was the best ever....

Second trip to the area had to come back. Elegant, unique, and historic. Pork chops are amazing. Also try the onion soup a staple for many years.. Excellent all around for the foodie in any age. Head down to the Black Bass to walk the bridge afterwards.

If you like historic Colonial era buildings, you will be charmed by this place. We attended a family wedding of about 20 people, both wedding and reception. The front of the Inn overlooks the Delaware River and the rear a Canal with the tow path now used for bicycling. The building is on the Historic Registry and is both quaint...

We came for a great dinner and left feeling extremely disappointed. The scallops were undercooked, the bass spent too much time waiting to be served, the ravioli was cold in the middle, the food needed some salt and pepper, the burger got lost on the giant bun, the salad was wilted and lacked any flavorful dressing. The description of the...

Awesome time at the Golden Pheasant! Phenomenal dinner, great selection of wines and craft beer and outstanding service. My wife and I stayed the night in a wonderful suite. The room had a fireplace and an incredible bathroom. Great location too. Anywhere you sit, there is a view of the river and/or the canal. We'll be back!

Went for dinner with family, had excellent food and service. Ambience warm and welcoming. Child friendly, staff treated my 7 year old granddaughter with dignity and respect in an unpatronising manner. Would definitely go back and will do when we next visit from England. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

My SO and I stayed for a night in early October. The experience was just wonderful overall! The inn itself is impeccably maintained. The room was elegant, luxurious and cozy at the same time! The location is remote but in a lovely way. The Inn is right on the canal and the Delaware River. The walking/running path is right behind...
