My friend and I recently took our kids to a quick overnight to Presque Isle and were fortunate to book a room here. It's a terrific hotel with the perfect location! The staff could not have been more accommodating to us, especially given that they were sold out the night we stayed. The lobby and all public spaced is marked clearly with new Covid-19 regulations. Everyone we encountered were wearing masks and social distancing as best they could. The infinity pool and deck were crowded, but everyone seemed to respect each others' space. We had dinner outside at the restaurant - service was truly top-notch as was the food. Our server was so pleasant and ensured we had a great experience, and we did! The room was very clean and when we called for additional towels, they were delivered in about 5 minutes, in a plastic bag. I'm hoping we can get back for another night before summer ends! Cannot say enough great things about our experience!

We stayed at this hotel with friends who were elite Bonvoy Card card members and because of this, were told one of the rooms could have a very late checkout of 4 pm. The plan was to move in all the stuff to that room on the last day and check out late. When we arrived, our rooms were not ready. Had to wait about an hour. Rooms were very basic. And there are no safes for valuables. This becomes important in a second. The food in the restaurant was ok. But the food at the walk-up cafe to eat in the morning was not good and terribly overpriced. Wait in line was 30 minutes. Wait to get food was 25 minutes after ordering. It felt like the whole hotel was understaffed the whole time we were there, to be honest. In addition to this, in the middle of COVID restrictions, their outdoor pool was grossly overcrowded and disgusting. There’s was no interim housekeeping either. Which, ok...we get it...”COVID”. The day of checkout, our friends (the elite members) were asked if we could not check out late (4 pm) because they were “so full” we were rushed out of the room (a last minute plea to the manager to allow us to do the late checkout was net with- and I quote “He** no!” So we had to check out, rushed, at the regular time (extending checkout by a couple more hours wasn’t going to help). In the process of leaving, a wallet which had been left in a drawer, because- THERE ARE NO SAFES- was left behind. It had a lot of sentimental value. After it was discovered missing, I called the hotel several times- kept getting the run around. How hard was it for someone to just check the lost and found? Apparently, nearly impossible. I even told them we didn’t care about the money in the wallet, just please, please, return the wallet. We called the hotel repeatedly, filled out the online form we were asked to, but no one could look in the lost and found. 4 days later, we again called and we were finally told it “wasn’t found”. So, someone in housekeeping now has a nice wallet. They were sure in a hurry to get us out if the room, even though we had to wait to check in. So, whoever was lucky enough to get it, got a real nice tip. I hope they’re happy. 😡 Probably not a bad hotel under better circumstances, but it was overall a bad experience and the non return of the wallet would make me not want to stay here again if recommend this hotel to anyone.

Rooms have a nice view of the bay. Pretty to watch the sun set. I only gave 4 stars because the mini fridge is not useable. Too small to hold anything. Two swimming pools are small, mostly kids, which is a shame because the outdoor pool has a nice view of the bay. No continental breakfast - just a coffee shop. Parking garage may be $12 - check if your rate includes parking.

Hotel is overpriced, do not recognize plats, no breakfast, no upgrades. Rooms are average, under staffed at desk, try to get you to pay for parking, mean while there is a free lot next door. Try the new Hampton a few blocks away.. Marriott has alienate it's best customers since the merger.

Beautiful hotel. Best on Erie. Too many dogs in the hotel. Too many people allowed in the pool. The hotel should be ashamed with the lack of social distancing at the pool. Other hotels have designated times they should do the same
