The hotel was run down and old. The bathroom was bad old and rundown. You could hardly turn the water on and off. The hotel sets way back and was very dark. There were a lot of shady people hanging around there.
Torn carpet, worn out old place. Burn holes in the sheets and blankets. Dirty armrests on the furniture and the tv remote along with the bathroom lav faucet didn't work. The only good thing was the sack breakfast to go
Wyndham should be embarrassed of this property. Front desk guy was nice, but no mask. Then asked if he could walk us to our room bc the last 2 groups he sent to that floor let him know the rooms still hadn't been cleaned (this was around midnight.) Not his fault. Our room had been 'cleaned,' but was dirty. I only took this one attached picture of the Kleenex dispenser, but the room was so bad I was nervous staying there. Tried to sleep, but ended up leaving a few hours later. I get that it's a Super 8, and a less expensive hotel, but cheap shouldn't equate with dirty.
We stay here every year. I would like to thank Brandy front desk. Bill front desk the executive house keeper. Maintenance guy! We are didnt get the room we wanted but they had 1 that was good enough. Very accommodating. Checked out a day early cuz of the virus. They were sad to see us go! We like it here very much...1 complaint the water never gets hot
If you have any food allergies or specifications, I suggest you bring a little something extra for yourself. I am gluten free, but the breakfast offered very little that I could eat. Not a bad breakfast for anyone else, it's just that I am gluten & dairy free, so it left me with a hard boiled egg, banana or apple.
