We stayed here with myself, husband, daughter, and family friend. We had a double queen room which was really nice, the beds were comfortable and the room was well cleaned. I went in for the check in process and we had booked this through splash lagoon family fun voucher. We went up here for my daughters 7th birthday and when the front desk staff found out, they asked if they could make her a special birthday sign and put it on our door which was such a nice touch. It really made the whole trip to know they went out of the their way to do something so nice for a 7 year old and her family. Breakfast was well organized but very different due to covid restrictions. We went around 830 am and there was a line of about 4 families. But the staff was great, asking what we wanted and taking proper precautions which was great. There were some people in the lobby not wearing masks but to each their own I guess. They gave you a tray to take to your room and bags so it made it easy to transport back to the rooms. I will say that the walk between the hotel and splash lagoon is a bit of a walk so on the second morning we chose to drive over and park directly at the waterpark, but again not much of an issue. All in all a great stay despite COVID restrictions in place, the staff was great. We would stay here again.…
Stayed at the comfort inn overnight with a package for Splashlagoon. The hotel is very nice, the workers we dealt with were super friendly and helpful. We had no issues at all. Our room had 2 queen beds, a huge jacuzzi tube, microwave and frig. Easy walk to the water park. And the free breakfast was good. I was wondering how they’d hand it and it was perfect. One at a time you walked in and the server asked if you wanted eggs and sausage and packaged that for you. Also did you want fruit, juice, yogurt. She put whatever you requested in a bag and you took it all back to your room. Perfect.
Stopped here for the night after a long day of traveling. The lady at the desk was busier than a one armed paper hanger but managed it well. She remained calm and was so kind! The room was comfortable and clean and we slept great!
We needed an overnight stay while driving from the east coast to the Midwest. For a change I selected Comfort Inn and Suites. The location was good---close to the interstate and near many similar hotel chains. The hotel itself looked good and the breakfast was good---comparable to breakfasts offered in other hotel chains. The room looked fine and was clean. BUT, there was a strong perfume smell that never went away. Maybe it was the odor from cleaning products, or maybe the rooms are sprayed with a strong room deodorizer. In any case it affected my breathing. I couldn’t wait to check out the following morning.
We stayed only one night on a Monday. The rooms were clean and very well kept. The breakfast was very good. They had eggs, sausages and waffles. The rooms had a refrigerator, microwave and safe. We had a connecting room and surprisingly we could not hear any noise from the next room. I was worried about unwanted noise from next door. The rooms were quiet even though we were near the ice machine. There was also a very nice small indoor pool. The hotel was very close to the highway. Nearby were a: Walmart, Burger King and McDonald's. I would recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again.
