My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Glass House Inn. We have stayed at the big chain hotels off of Peach Street before and found the Glass House in on an off chance. We are very pleased we did. The price is right, the decore is very pleasant, the room was very clean and staf

This is a classic “mom and pop motor hotel” (and features a newspaper story about it in the breakfast area). It’s a throwback to the 50s, just off busy US-20 and each room has an entrance off the parking lot. From what we’ve read and heard, the owners are involved in the communi

Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review, James, and you're right, we're probably not for everyone. But many of those who have given our motel a try continue to stay with us each and every time they visit Erie because they feel comfortable and at home at the Glass House Inn. We hope that after your recent stay we'll be seeing you again the next time your travels bring you to Erie. All the best, Tim & Laura, owners

Stayed there over this past weekend and it was very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Recommended several family owned restaurants in the area and had dinner at one. Would definitely stay there again in the future.

the place is cute cozy and the staffs are friendly. the prices are reasonable. we rather to sleep there better than the big moose inn at eagle bay, new York too expensive for small crown room without bathroom . had to walk to own bathroom in the hallway. old building terrible.

I found the street noise to be very annoying. I also find it hard to believe that you did not hear it...
As so many other responders, our a/c was on while staying there. The traffic was not an issue but since I'm a light sleeper, my sound machine is the first thing I pack when traveling. The constant sound of the ocean helps to block outside noise, like traffic. The employee of the motel did tell me later to request the corner rooms as they are quieter.

Will the pool be opened the weekend of Sept 9 through 11?
Sorry, I have no clue. If you contact the Glass House Inn, they could tell you. Best of luck,
