Very clean place close to Presque Isle and has a pool There is traffic but it’s honestly hardly noticeable at night. Bathroom was kinda retro for my liking and pool could be bigger. Owners were more then helpful and always asked if there was anything they could do to make our stay better.
My family stayed at the Glass House Inn, Erie Pennsylvania on June 8th 2020. 2 adults, 2 children. We found the Glass House Inn after searching on line. We were looking for lodging near Presque Isle state park in Erie. Also wanted a smaller facility, local innkeeper. The Glass House Inn offered both...plus an outdoor pool. The Inn is an older style facility, one floor with parking just outside the room. The property was charming, long benches outside the room, flowers, a porch style light at each door. Very well maintained. First thing I could not help but notice when entering our room was how fresh, clean & inviting it was. I felt the stress of our drive melt away. I've travelled quite a bit and lodged at both local and big box hotels and will say that our room at the Glass House was the freshest, cleanest of all. Clearly, the (very friendly) innkeeper takes much pride in the property. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. THANK YOU!…
We stayed for two nights. Honestly, you can’t beat the price; they have everything you need-coffee maker, little refrigerator, microwave, and free Wi-Fi. It’s close to the highway with lots of restaurant choices within a few miles. Our room was charming, cozy, clean, and comfortable. The owners are very friendly, helpful, and gracious. We will stay again when we return to Erie next month!
Great place to stay. I stayed during the month of December. Clean room, nice comfy bed, hot and powerful shower, good WiFi and just a great space. The rooms are not up to date with the furnishings but that was fine since the positives certainly outweighed this in my opinion. Give it a try!!
The Glass House Inn was a wonderful stay! The owners were very accommodating. We arrived really late due to the delay of our flight. They unlocked the room and turned on the heater for us. The room was very clean. We really loved the vintage devour! If we are ever in Erie, PA again, we will stay at this location again.
