My sister and I stayed here to attend my graduation. It was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The people that own it went out of there way to make sure we were happy. They were amazing. The entire room was incredible and the food was delicious. I definitely recommend staying at Victoria Inn as often and for as long as you can.
Lucky to have stayed at this wonderful establishment, run by the fabulous Vicke. A most Comfortable room, bright and light filled, and perfect for our needs. Delicious breakfast crafted by our most delightful host. Easy parking, in a perfect location. The home is an old Victorian building with rooms on the second floor. The main floor has a common sitting area and the breakfast room.
Got to stay at the Victoria Inn with a group by chance on a business trip to Erie and could have not been more delighted at the comfort, hospitality, and relaxed ambiance of the Inn. It sits on the edge of Gannon University in the downtown area of Erie, close to the lake. I travel constantly for both business and pleasure and know the inside of most national and international chain hotel rooms from coast to coast, even most boutique brands - the Victoria Inn is NOT like any of those, not even close. It is so much better! The house was built in 1872 as a single-family residence (must have been a big family!) by George Carroll a local lumber dealer. The wood flooring and ornate woodwork in the house are enough reason to visit! Heard that the house had been a B&B for some time, but it is now under new ownership which has transformed it into a pure sanctuary for travelers. The rooms have high ceilings with the walls painted muted, calming colors, beds are comfy, linens so very soft, great shower pressure, good WiFi, cable TV in each room, quiet at night, has all the amenities a traveler would need. But then there is more! We used the parlor for a work meeting our first night there, where we were brought glasses for drinks and offered tea and other snacks. We felt so relaxed, taken care of, and "at home" that night in that beautiful room that our meeting and work seemed a lot less stressful. In the morning Vicki (one of the owners) makes a gourmet breakfast to order! Had fresh-pressed apple cider one morning. She catered effortlessly to one in our group who was on the "keto" diet. Per Vicki, we even got to enjoy some local wine ... not at breakfast :) But the best part of this B&B and it's relaxing attentiveness, is that there is a yoga studio in the middle of it, on the first floor in a gorgeous center room with Victorian woodworking. I cannot imagine anything better than coming back after a day of work in Erie to the tranquil splendor of this inn, practice a little meditation or yoga, have a nice glass of wine or tea in the parlor ... and just breathe. This is what hotels (or B&Bs) should be! You MUST try this place. I have pledged to not stay anywhere else when I am in the area.…
I had the pleasure of staying 3 nights at the Victoria Inn in Erie PA. What a delightful stay! The owner Vicki could not have been more attentive and accommodating . Breakfast was included in the stay and I was provided a custom breakfast to my taste each morning based on my work schedule times. I was graciously served at 6:30 am!! Great location, comfortable quiet room and first class service and breakfast. I highly recommend!!
I found myself at this quaint little B&B after being booted out of a major local hotel, which had oversold its’ capacity. What a happy little accident I ended up in, since this delightful home is such a great place to stay. The innkeeper and caretaker (a sister and brother) are the most kind, generous, friendly people you could meet. Their hospitality is top-knot has! Breakfast has been delightful each morning, with a mix of hearty protein-filled egg dishes and scrumptious carbs :-) Should I ever find myself back in this area of the country, I will be sure to stay… This would be an excellent girls weekend getaway or couples retreat.
