Wonderful historic inn. Beautifully appointed. The attention to details were impressive. We totally enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable. It is in a great location. We went to see Presque Isle and historic sites.
My siblings and I (and our spouses) stayed at the Victoria Inn while in Erie visiting our mom. You could not have asked for a more gracious experience. Vicke and her husband (and helpers!) have made the Inn a lovely getaway. The attention to detail while they have restored the 1800’s inn does not go un noticed. If you love old architecture, you will love the “most original room” especially. For our visit the “siblings” gathered in the front room to talk and laugh and were always offered coffee or tea if it was pre-breakfast. Our breakfasts were culinary delights! Both days we had scones with the “first course” (wonderfully made by Aunt Jayne!) The second course was substantial enough that we were not hungry for lunch and was wonderful. Our room was toward the back of the inn and even though I could hear loud music when I was outside, I could not hear it in our room. For those concerned about cleanliness, do not be concerned. All was spotless. Loved the Victoria Inn…we plan to book it for next year when we gather!…
The Victoria Inn is well appointed, very clean and comfortable. It is conveniently situated near the dock, great restaurants and the downtown area. Vickie and her family were welcoming, friendly and informative about the attractions in Erie. The breakfast each morning was different and beyond delicious! Book this historic Inn for your stay in Erie, and you will not be disappointed.
The Victoria Inn is a beautiful, very clean, historic inn. Close to Erie attractions and hosted by gracious Vickie, her husband and brother. The breakfasts were delicious . We were in town to see old friends and to visit the town where we grew up. The Inn provided us with a convenient, comfortable base.
We take biking excursions with a group of 5 couples and set off to Erie to bike Presque Isle. We have stayed in many B&Bs in Pennsylvania and we all agree that The Victoria Inn was the best! The rooms are all very spacious with private bathrooms, the living room was roomy enough for us to gather and the breakfasts were excellent. Vicki and her brother John were there for anything we needed and even made dinner reservations for us! We will be back and I have already recommended the inn to others.
