Once again the phenomenal hospitality of Rebecca and Dave Gallagher greeted us from the moment we stepped into the inn. We had the wonderful Crimson Dove suite complete with jacuzzi and all. Rebecca thinks of every single detail for your comfort. This is our 7th or 8th time staying at Smithton....you don't just stay at an inn......you are made to...

If, like us, you were fans of the Historic Smithton Inn when it was in its prime in the 1980's and 1990's, before it slipped in quality and care during its previous owner's final years here in the 00's, you will be so heartened and glad, as we were, to revisit this wonderful inn in its new glory -- and...

We only spent the night, but we could have stayed for a month! Rebecca is incredible- welcoming, warm, friendly and most importantly an incredible cook. She immediately makes you feel at home- quick yet informative tour of the inn, your room and the amenities so you can immediately begin enjoying yourself. This place has all the modern comforts, yet memorable...

My husband & I just spent 2 nights at this Inn,the rooms looked exactly like the web site. We choose the Crimson Dove Suite which was very romantic. We stayed there during the 2 coldest days of the year. But with the wood burning fireplace & a big leather couch in front of it we never wanted to leave the...

Cannot recommend this Inn too highly. Everything was as detailed on the site. The breakfast was wonderful and Rebecca cooked eggs for a fussy eater. We booked Taylor's Cottage for a family of 5. It was a perfect place to stay. Beautifully warm during a cold winter stay. Bedding was very comfortable. Great location to look around Lancaster County. Lots...

I was a wee bit nervous being a female traveling alone for the first time but within 24 hours I was calling the Inn "Home". I just left for my real Home this morning and I didn't want to leave. I had the Crimson Dove Suite and made regular use of the Jacuzzi Tub, Heated floor, fire in the fireplace...

We were given a gift certificate to this charming 250 year old Inn. We were pleasantly surprised by everything. It is a beautiful and very well maintained building...outside and inside. The Innkeeper, Rebecca Gallagher, greeted us in such a friendly and pleasant manner. We were shown around and given the "lay of the land". Our room was very large, beautifully...

Dave and Rebecca couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We didn't know the area. Rebecca had maps and excellent tips on where to go for all sorts of activities and shopping. The Inn is perched on a small hill at a crossroads. If I'm not mistaken, it was built in the 1730's by a important member of the Ephrata...
