For our 50th wedding anniversary, we wanted a special kind of place: not a hotel or motel. Twin Pine Manor was it! Brenda met us on arrival and was genuinely sweet, cordial and pleased to see us. Immaculate is the description of the entire manor! When we entered The Tower Room which was to be our "home" for 3 nights, we found it to be jaw-dropping gorgeous. The bathroom was large with a beautifully situated jacuzzi, glass enclosed shower, double sinks and a walk-in closet with bathrobes and lots of room to hang clothes out of sight. There was a spiral staircase in a corner of the bedroom leading to an upper room in the Tower with a sofa and chair, fireplace and TV! There was a door there leading to the roof top and comfy seating. We spent two evenings star gazing! So fun! The king bed was comfy with soft sheets and extra pillows. Breakfast was brought to our room the first morning! Delicious french toast casserole with croissants, baked oatmeal, fruit, and a little square of fruit and chocolate! Brenda does an excellent job preparing breakfast...not only the quality of the food but its presentation! We felt like royalty! Two mornings we ate in the gorgeous dining room with its formally set table, crystal water glasses, and another delicious breakfast. Brenda chatted with us as we ate, which we so enjoyed! It felt like home. We couldn't have found a more lovely B&B! The grounds are gorgeous. Brenda is also their gardener and her work is spectacular!

My husband and I would definitely recommend this place! We were not going to be able to make their check in time frame, But they willingly accommodated a time that worked for us. We saw some gold fish in the fish pond, and we enjoyed relaxing on the rooftop deck which overlooked their beautiful unique landscape! Our room was the perfect temperature when we arrived, and they had provided bubbles for the jacuzzi which worked great! Sunday morning Breakfast was amazing, and because of covid-19 we had to eat alone but they served it on trays which worked great! ... it was also the perfect amount that we didn’t need lunch! Thanks for the relaxing weekend, we will definitely be back!

So glad you had a relaxing weekend and enjoyed our B&B! Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your stay. We are new to this "room service" style breakfast so it is good to hear some positive feedback about the portions and the set up. We look forward to having you stay with us again. Warmest Regards, Nicole

This is not your typical bed and breakfast. The room we had was the Victorian. And it was a very nice room. The jacuzzi tub and fireplace are nice. And the balcony is nice too. It is very charming. And that’s about the best of it. The location of the place is not that great. It’s on a very busy road. And you can hear the traffic all through the night. Their breakfast is at 8:30 am sharp. You do not get a time frame at all. So, for couples who want to sleep a tad later, plan on breakfast somewhere else. The Inn Keeper is hardly around. In fact, most of the time we went downstairs, there was no one around at all. You are basically left to fend for yourself. And the “snack” they leave out is always just a plate of the same chocolate chip cookies. And that’s it. Nothing else at all. This bed and breakfast really lacks that personal touch. It’s more like staying in a hotel. Except at a hotel there’s a front desk with someone there. There is generally no one around at this bed and breakfast. And the first thing they do when you get there isn’t to show you around. It’s to ask for your payment literally right away. It all just seemed like a business transaction and a room to sleep in. It is a beautiful place. But no personal touch at all!!!!! I would not stay there again for that reason!!!!

Let me begin by saying that I am so sorry for how you felt about your experience at our B&B. We only had 2 guests in our Victorian Suite this month and both of them shared with us that they had a wonderful stay. That is why I was so perplexed by this review that stated you stayed in March. That being said, it saddens me that anyone would not feel they received our highest level of hospitality when they stayed with us. We got into this business because we LOVE serving people and the fact that you left without feeling like a king or queen is very disappointing. Many guests come to our B&B for a romantic getaway so we do our best to discern whether they want privacy or want to socialize. I am a talker so I try to be careful not to make anyone feel awkward if they just want a quiet night alone. The Manor is situated back off the main road with a farm behind it and Pine Trees (hence the name Twin Pine Manor) all around to provide a tranquil and quiet setting that is still convenient for travelers. It was built with soundproof walls and doors as well. Guests can arrive for breakfast anytime between 8:30-9:30 a.m., as stated in our confirmation emails and on our website. There have been many occasions that guests have let me know ahead of time that they want to sleep in so I will happily make them up a plate and place it in the guest fridge for them. In addition to the chocolate chip cookies, I have home baked treats in our guest fridge that say "help yourself" that are available all day. We have an inn keeper that lives on site but she is often busy cleaning or preparing breakfast. In the evening she regularly walks around, checks on lights, fireplaces, etc. When a guest arrives at Twin Pine Manor, we check them in, give them a tour of the house, bring them to their suite and explain how to use all of their amenities (fireplace, Jacuzzi, etc.). Before they leave we ask several times how their stay is and if there is anything we can do to make it better. I regret that I was not given the opportunity to make your stay better. It is always my goal to make every guest a "forever guest." Most Sincerely, Nicole Andersen General Manager

I would definetely recommend this place for couples. Very nice staff and they made me feel at home.. They did whatever they could to accommodate us. Its very beautiful on the property. Rooms are clean and the upkeep is very in tact. I loved it there. And everyone smiled if you passed. they offered anything i needed. If any problems came up they did everything they could. This is one of the nicest bed and breakfast places that I have been to. I would def recommend. Please take your chances and visit this place.
