The views were beautiful, site 125 in Poplar was almost water front, very spacious, and pretty level, except maybe a 2 foot hill between the camping pad and the fire pit. You can't beat the scenery , the lake is beautiful, the mountains are beautiful. And when we were there, a lot of the sites were empty so it was... More

Cabin was nice but there was bugs, not the kind of bugs you want to bring home. Had a cabin that I thought was going to be close to the lake. It looked like you could just step off your porch and go fishing. It was about 100 feet above the lake an about 50 feet from the lake. So... More

Fantastic family camp ground. Well taken care of. Friendly helpful staff. Tons of options from tent and TV sites to rustic cabins, upper scale cabins, lodges and more. A great little beach. Kayak, paddle board and boat rentals. Activities for the kids. All around great place.

The Proud Mary dinner cruise was excellent. We had the prime rib dinner. Absolutely delicious. The cruise is 90 minutes...way to short. It was so relaxing that 90 minutes flew by so quickly. Staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend the prime rib dinner cruise. Next trip we will be trying the breakfast cruise.

Hotel staff was unable to manage and remove a large group of belligerent drunk wedding guests that they hosted and accommodated at the lodge. The hotel could not enforce curfew rules. PA State Police had to be contacted several times and were unable to arrest and remove belligerently drunk rowdy guests. Our family with a 9 and 16 year old... More

We have been visiting Raytown Lake Resort for the past twenty years or so. We started in Tents and a small camper which was great when the kids were small. Now twenty plus years later, we upgraded to the cabins. Pros: Super nice, quiet, breath taking views, just wonderful for relaxing and winding down. Many activities for the kids, grandkids... More

This was our first time "camping" so we decided to rent yurts versus staying in a tent. The kids loved it. We cooked over the fire, swam in the lake, played at the pool. It was a great way to cap off summer before heading back to school. The yurt was great for my level of "roughing it". The near... More

Great Family campground. Lots to do in the campground to keep you busy. Unfortunately the water park was closed since the kids went back to school, but there is plenty to do in the area. Beautiful campground! We stayed on Poplar, and the view was amazing. Quick access to the lake. The bath houses were CLEAN!!!

Check in process exactly like a resort with very friendly staff. However staff on the grounds was hit or miss in regards to hospitality. Overall it is a fantastic location, much to do here, the marina cafe had excellent service and food. Only complaint is the slope on some sites is steep with loose gravel between parking and camping leading... More

We arrived in early July, 2016 with a cabin booked for our family of five plus another adult traveling with us. The check in was smooth. They gave us the wrong key to the cabin so a worker brought the right key to the cabin for me. The cabin was nice enough with a full kitchen, large picnic table to... More
