Detailed Reviews
Feeling of security was my first thought upon entering Chapel Valley Estates. We all have different reasons for choosing a bed and breakfast over a hotel. I travel alone so feeling safe is a top priority for me. I was not disappointed. Tom and Pat are genuinely inviting hosts from the moment of arrival until checkout. I personally choose a bed and breakfast because I love architecture and also to see homes that have been renovated, and so someone makes me breakfast! This home is definitely eye candy. It is apparent from the before picture to the current building that the builder had a vision. You will see tray ceilings, knotty pine flooring, gleaming white woodwork, deep paint colors that make the lighter shades pop, and actual barnwood wainscoting. You will also be treated to a punched tin domed ceiling! Each room is uniquely decorated as you can see on their website. Outside of the rooms is a large inviting sitting area complete with games and snacks, and a large picture window for sitting and watching the birds in the tree grove. The grounds are lovely for a stroll. The linens were soft and luxurious. There is plenty of hot water in the efficient bathroom. Pat prepared a main dish for my breakfast, fresh fruit, yogurt, a muffin, juice and delicious hot coffee. All were in consideration of my diet restrictions. Whether you are traveling through the area or want a relaxing staycation, I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

I stayed at CVE two nights ago after a friend's wedding with my boyfriend and four friends (and their baby). One of the couples was the couple getting married and the first thing I noticed was a huge "Congratulations" sign upon arrival. The owners were the kindest people and made our stay incredible. I stayed in the Loft Room, which was perfect (the bed was enormous when the two were pushed together). The sitting area was full of games and refreshments. They accommodated my friends with the baby (who was six months old) and even provided her with extra toys while we ate. Speaking of our breakfast, it was PHENOMENAL. There was a large spread and everything was local and handmade. Pat made us cinnamon rolls, a tomato spinach quiche, stuffed mushrooms, maple brushed bacon (my personal favorite), roasted potatoes and a side of fruit. They also provided us with water, orange juice, coffee and tea. Pat and Tom were sweet and funny and it truly looked like they were enjoying us being there as much as we enjoyed being there. This was my first time ever staying at a traditional Bed and Breakfast and I don't think I ever want to stay at a hotel again! I would 100% recommend this B&B for any kind of trip.

This was such a pleasant one night stop on our driving trip. Pat and Tom were such gracious hosts - calling in advance to make sure we knew how to get into our room and checking with dietary preferences. The room was comfortable and the common area had snacks and drinks - everything was very welcoming.
Breakfast was a treat - fantastic home cooked food and lovely conversation with the hosts. You can tell that they really love doing what they do and interacting with their guests. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is in the area.

We spent our wedding night at Chapel Valley last year and loved it so we came back for our 1st anniversary. We loved it again! Pat and Tom are excellent innkeepers. Everything from the style, decorating, cleanliness, quality of food and welcoming attitude is excellent. The Cottage Loft is extra cozy and a bit more romantic since it is separated from the main house. You will find lots of little snacks and beverages in the room as well as coffee/tea setup. The area is very nice - a relaxing country experience.

Our stay at Chapel Valley Estate was outstanding in every way. Our room ( and the entire inn) was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The room was immaculate and the bed couldn’t have been more comfortable. The innkeepers are delightful people who go above and beyond to assure that their guests have a perfect experience. Our hearty and delicious breakfast included a zucchini and cheese soufflé, roasted potatoes, ham, a cranberry fruit dish and gingerbread cookies! We highly recommend a stay at Chapel Valley Estate!

This was our fourth stay and it was just as delightful as the first. Innkeepers Pat & Tom are friendly, gracious hosts - particularly in the midst of this pandemic. We never once worried about cleanliness or being safe. We relaxed near a fire that night and they set up a lovely breakfast al fresco - so yummy. Five years ago, we celebrated our wedding night in the Cottage Loft - we returned for our first and fifth anniversaries. It's a special place where you can truly "get away." We are already planning our next trip.

We came back for a 2nd time and brought friends with us. The service was over and above what I ever would have expected. We were accommodated even though we came a day early by accident. The breakfasts were delicious!! What a spread! Pat and Tom were delightful. We talked for a while about the area and where she grew up and visited several places that interested us. Do not hesitate to book but do not take my spot for next time!:)
We will be back and bring more friends next time. A great getaway for several couple. We had wine with cheese and crackers out in the yard, talked and had snacks in the lounge and looked at their lovely yard, watching the birds go in the birdhouses.

My two sons, DIL and two grandchildren stayed at Chapel Valley Estate so we could attend a family reunion that was nearby. Our experience at Chapel Valley Estate was wonderful! The Carriage House Suite was everything we needed and beautifully done. Tom and Pat are fantastic hosts--very personable, available and the breakfasts are amazingly delicious. It felt like coming home!
