Anne and Dave are the best. We had such a wonderful time at the Inn. The place was perfect and the food was great. It is a superb location for visitors to the area visiting relatives or just taking in the area as a visitor. Be sure to check out the local brew-pubs and there are more around the area.... More

We stayed at the Amanda Gish House for two nights over Veterans Day weekend. We wanted a quick get-away from DC, and Lancaster County is surprisingly close. Many of the things to do in Lancaster County are spread out all over the county, so Elizabethtown turned out to be a good location. We stayed in the Garden Room, and it... More

We had a wonderful, too short stay at the Amanda Gish House. Ann was a perfect host, and the room we stayed in (the French room) had charming decor, comfy bed and fantastic bathroom. The breakfast was *so* good-- my favorite part was the homemade ginger scone. It was the best scone I've ever eaten. You can quote me on... More

My husband and I have been staying intermittently at the Amanda Gish House for almost three years for a total of approximately 10 times. Each stay has been a complete joy, and I cannot say how much I look forward to returning. The house is impeccably kept in a late 1800s–early 1900s style yet maintains all modern amenities (baths with... More

It was our first time in a bed and breakfast and Ann made it very special. She gave us suggestions on where to go and where to eat. We stayed in the " French Room" which was beautiful and so comfortable. It was very clean and the breakfast was delicious. To top it off, the house was within walking distance... More

My wife and I went to PA for our vacation in the Hershey Area. We stayed at the Amanda Gish House B & B and it was absolutely fantastic. The Garden room was extremely comfortable and relaxing. The chocolates on the bedside were wonderful. The outside area in the garden was a great place to sit and relax once the... More

My wife and I stayed here for one night in the Rose Room for a local wedding in town. Driving the road to the B&B you will pass by the Mars chocolate factory so it will smell of chocolate, so that was pretty neat. The B&B itself is a beautiful building and the outdoor landscaping was well done. I arranged... More

Amanda Gish House B&B was recommended to us by a friend who lives in the area and we were extremely happy with our stay in this beautiful old house. It was so charming and comfortable we thought we'd like to return for a longer stay since we had limited time there(only one night). We stayed in the French room which... More

Wonderful and very relaxing. This is our second visit and we will return. Our hosts are great and very accommodating. We have stayed in the Garden and French rooms...very nice. The house and grounds are beautiful. Ann prepares a fantastic breakfast and is flexable with the time. Looking forward to our next visit!

stayed here for Anniversary getaway. Very nice. Great food and welcome host. I have food restrictions and our host was very understanding and the food she made for me was very tasty and she always offered substitutes and was very gracious.
