This is a great campground. Nice roomy sites. Good roads. Friendly staff. Lots of trees and grass. Well maintained. Lots of amenities. This is one of the nicest campgrounds that we have stayed in. We are seniors. As with all KOAs, we feel like we are paying for all the amenities for kids that we don’t use. Otherwise great place.

We booked and stayed two weeks here in July 2021 spending around $1200 dollars for the stay. We previously lived close to this campground and have since moved away to the Southwest US. This was our first return trip home to Elizabethtown to visit family and friends. The sites are clean and well kept. Amenities are what is expected for a KOA. After that, it goes downhill fast and this is all based on the worst customer service I have ever experienced in a campground. In fact, it's embarrassing to say I used to live most of my life near this park and highly recommended them to outside visitors and felt good giving them my business when I came home to visit. Here are some details. The laundry lady attendant was rude and unforgiving when my wife did not see the cleaning time's sign outside the building. Instead of politely telling her they were going to clean, she chewed her out and belittled her. Second...some of the guys who drive around in carts are reluctant to just say hello. Okay...I get it, but when I wave my hand to someone I typically expected a welcomed response. Nah...not here. Finally, on our last day in the park and having returned my rental car a day early, we had no transportation to leave. My son, who is a local, offered to bring us a pizza for dinner and spend about an hour with us before we left. I asked the ladies behind the counter and was looking for a "sure, have a great time" response. I said they are not going to use any facilities or amenities ($8/person visitor charge) and he and his wife would just spend an hour with us. The lady said she would check with the manager. I got a phone call an hour later and she said they could only spend 30 minutes with us or they would be charged $16! When my son arrived with the food that evening, I decided to pay the fee because I didn't want to rush them out for a measly few bucks. When I went in with my son to pay, the lady asked I see you have a dog in the car (my son's lap dog puppy). I said yes they do. She said no dogs allowed and you will have to take him home. This was not told to me earlier. She seemed to take great pleasure telling me this information. I told her what I thought of her campground, their service, and how I will never return nor will I give them a recommendation. In fact, this has me so angry I'm going to withdraw my KOA membership because of it. We had to promptly say goodbye to my son, his wife, and puppy and they left the campground. Needless to say, this level of customer service is far below satisfactory and if I could give this campground 0 Stars, I would. This is no way to run a business. This is a popular campground due to proximity to Hershey Park. However, there are now more options for campers…I would choose an alternative. Sorry for the long rant, but in this day and age, customer service is what people want...don't expect that here.

We stayed at this KOA two years ago and loved it. So, when we were back in the area we knew where to stay! The pull thru site we requested wasn't available but the premium site we were assigned was a long, wide, pretty level, gravel site. We had a paver block patio with Adirondack chairs, two person glider, fire pit, charcoal grill and very nice picnic table. The pool, laundromat, office/camp store and grounds were immaculate. For youngsters there was a playground and free mini golf for all. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay while in Elizabethtown PA, this is the place! If you stay here and are looking for something fun to do, take a ride to the little town of Lititz and take the tour of the Sturgis pretzel bakery and visit the Wilbur chocolate store... yum!! ****FYI... Very important...do not follow your GPS! Follow the directions provided on your confirmation page! Those directions will save you a lot of stress and frustration!

Went to check in for 4th of July weekend and was told by staff (must be dog DNA readers) that our dog looked to be mixed with pit and were told we couldn't stay here. No refund or anything! Stay away from this place!! Would give 0 stars if I could!!

We spent Columbus Day weekend here with two other groups - all family. We had seven kids in total among us, all under 12. There were a few organized activities over the weekend such as a fishing derby, scavenger hunt, and wagon rides. The campground is clean and well maintained. Staff seemed helpful. There is a fully wooded 'back side', with a much more open front side. It's in a good location relative to Hershey and Lancaster county. Pretty quiet place overall. Not a destination campground exactly. If you need a lot going on, bring friends or plan on visiting a local attraction.
