We stayed for a week in the Elizabethtown Hershey KOA in July. This campground is very large and the pull thru spaces are very spacious. Our dogs loved the dog park and the location is within a short distance to Hershey and Lancaster so you can go visit the Hershey Gardens and Chocolate World. We arrived late and one of the staff met us and helped us get into our spot which was awesome. Our dogs LOVED the dog park. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because the location is tough to get to through residential neighborhoods. Don't let that deter you though especially if you know how to pull your rig.

From the minute we arrived to the day we left we felt welcomed and safe. The COVID protocols were clearly stated and followed. The campground was clean and everyone was welcoming. The pool was sanitized regularly which was a comfort during this strange summer. We will return!

This is a great campground. Nice roomy sites. Good roads. Friendly staff. Lots of trees and grass. Well maintained. Lots of amenities. This is one of the nicest campgrounds that we have stayed in. We are seniors. As with all KOAs, we feel like we are paying for all the amenities for kids that we don’t use. Otherwise great place.

Our Cabin was hot upon arrival with the AC at 74. it was a high 80's day and we arrived after 8pm. Too hot to sleep. took forever to cool down. 2 bedroom cabin only had AC in one of the bedrooms, so we had to leave the door open between the two rooms. The AC rules say leave it at least at 70 while you out. Returned from being out and it again too hot to sleep. They won't allow you to stay on site after checkout (no pool, nothing) We were told to leave immediately upon checkout. We weren't even able to enjoy the pool because we had planned on swimming after checkout that day before our drive home. Instead just left early. Won't stay here again. The cost was nearly the same as a hotel.

We decided to stay here for a few days at the end of August when the start of school was postponed. We stayed in a back in patio site which was spacious and clean. The area is residential, which is a little different, but the roads to the campground are all wide country roads so even if you have a big rig you shouldn't have any problems. The campground layout is different because you basically pass many of the sites along a hillside on your way up to the check in office and store. It is a bit hilly and mostly gravel, so we have been to better campgrounds for bike riding but it's not terrible. I am guessing it is an older campground with new, large pull through sites added at the front. Also, due to the awkward layout I can see why the owners don't let people in to "drive around" when the campground is full. Why would they want extra people driving around the campground for basically no reason when you can look everything up on google earth? Bottom line, it's a KOA with clean facilities and decent sites. We had no problems with the staff; everyone was friendly.

This place gets better and better every time we go. (4 X a year) The spot we always request finally got a patio!!! This is such a plus since now out daughter goes with us and spends most of her time in our site with her two dogs. This campground is ALWAYS neat and clean, ALWAYS decorated to the T, ALWAYS has friendly and helpful staff, even though they are feeling the shortage of workers, you would have never known it.

My wife and I had our first experience here these past few days and I can honestly say, it was amazing!! We have done extensive traveling and where overwhelmed by the cleanliness of our cabin!, “125”. The first thing we noticed when we entered our cabin, was how clean it was! From floors to ceiling it was spotless!
Everyone we encountered, staff wise was so pleasant and professional. From the time we registered to checkout, every experience with a staff member was great!
It’s Christmas in July this weekend, wished we had booked the entire weekend, but we needed to leave on Saturday!! I can and will highly s location to all. WE WILL BE BACK!!! 😊😎👍
P.S. All cabins come with gas BBQ grill! They were so clean, I thought they were new!!
And the place has a nice clean pool too!!

This is our first stay here at this KOA and we are very pleased. Sites are lovely, some have incredible amenities such as paved patios, trex gliders and one even has a gazebo. Ours was a basic gravel pull thru that could have been more level but was ok for our smaller hybrid. Most staff are friendly with the exception of a lady at the check in / store who seemed a bit to maybe not enjoy her job and just would rather not be bothered and another older gentleman on the golf cart who ignored the fact he was parked in the middle of the drive obviously complaining about someone while we sat and waited for him to finish venting so we could continue to our site. The lake is gorgeous with the fountain on the middle , bathhouses are standard, laundry area is nice, pool is nice but with COVID restrictions is always close to limit. Putt putt is a fee, playgrounds look very nice and there are volleyball and basketball courts.

Great camp ground, very helpful staff. We were in the Tent camping area and the sites were excellent. We had forest behind us and either side the camping site were off-set so we did not feel over looked. Lovely weekend.

Booked the reservation on line for a premium pull thru with patio. Made it for 2 adults and 2 children. Grandchildren. Wanted to do a meal Saturday night for 6 adults and 3 total grandchildren and then they would leave. This is what happens when you can only book on line. I cancelled the visit because what sense is it to restrict the family in the open in the middle of a campground. Sorry also I lose my $95 deposit. What sense is it to not allow family at a family campground...
