Amazing staff and restaurant make this a must do for me a couple weekends a year. Jayson, Joey, Eddie, Ty and the new owners strive to make you comfortable and entertained during your visit. A rustic resort that beckons you to relax.

Ive visited and stayed at this resort for 20 years and love it! It's rustic, but considering the cost is so low, it's 100% worth it. The staff is so nice, the restaurant is terrific and the club is awesome... I've gone winter, spring, summer and fall and will continue to go for another 20.... Love this place!! Joseph from... Eight of us ate a $60 a person dinner ... They brought two small caprese salads and two small loaves of bread ... We asked for more bread ... The main meal was terrible ... I chose leg of lamb it was grayish brown and sliced thinly ... The mashed potatoes were like a paste you would use in kindergarten... More

Went off season but definitely was reminded of sleep away camp with an alternative lifestyle "twist". Very friendly staff, adequate accommodations and beautiful location tucked away in the woods. The restaurant was great and a fun night club in the converted barn. I look forward to returning in the summer to enjoy the poolside fun.

This was our first stay at Rainbow Mountain and we had a fantastic time. Everyone on the staff was warm and friendly, the meals were excellent, and our cabin was clean and just secluded enough. We spent most of our days enjoying the enormous pool and relaxing in the lodge or on the front porch with friends. The dance club... More

Me and my partner have been going to Rainbow Mountain occasionally for over 15 years. It's the perfect place (and under a 2 hour drive) to get away from the madness and stress of NYC. The resort has a lot going for it, including a great swimming pool with an amazing view of the Poconos. Another highlight is the restaurant,... More

This was my first trip to Rainbow Mountain. My partner and I went for a long weekend. The setting is rustic, and so are the accommodations. That's not a bad thing at all. Especially if you are looking for a rustic, unpretentious place to spend a few days. We stayed in a deluxe king room, which was similar to any... More

We were first time guests at your resort last weekend (7/18- 7/20 2014). Although familiar with the area, I never heard about Rainbow Mountain and was a bit leery of the online reviews I read. We booked a cottage because the deluxe king rooms were unavailable. We expected rustic and it was, a bit tiny for 2 bigger guys but... More

Poison ivy is in way too many places on property. They need to hire a landscaper to get it out of There. I was told I could have fun around the lake. That is if you can avoid the poison ivy. Tough during the day. Impossible at night. Pool is nice. Place has changed. Not as open to men having... More

I just booked a dinner at the Rainbow Mountain Resort for my 50th birthday. As it turns out, from the 18 invited guests, only 4 were gay and perhaps the best endorsement of the atmosphere of this place is that all 14 of the others (including my parents) LOVED the Rainbow Mountain Resort! The main building has a lot of... More
