My family and I stayed in the Evergreen Family Suite for 3 nights over the 4th of July, and what a treat! Nine of us slept very comfortably in the renovated upstairs apartment. Housekeeping does an amazing job with cleaning, and towels were soft and plush. Elna and Fred thought of everything right down to ice cubes in the freezer! I can’t say enough about this “home away from home”…it was wonderful!
Excellent -quaint rooms that are beautiful and clean and amenities including coffee in quaint nook - quiet and peaceful porches to relax on - absolutely a great place! Closeby are restaurants, nature, shops.
We wanted to check out Eagles Mere and Ricketts Glen State Park so we chose the Crestmont Inn for our accomodations. Due to Covid there is no contact with any person which definitely makes it less personal. There are no meals and instead guests get a coupon to take to the Sweet Shoppe for a discounted breakfast (which was very good!) The room we had was large with a large bathroom as well as an area with a large jetted tub which was wonderful. Everything was in working order and very clean. There is a hospitality room down the hall with a coffee machine and anything one would need to make hot chocolate, tea, etc. I would imagine that in the summer it would be nice to have the lake privileges. We were there in September so we enjoyed a walk around the lake which took about an hour. This is a nice place if you want a quiet getaway.…
Fred and Elna were wonderful hosts to us and the others staying. We would definitely stay again. We enjoyed the breakfast basket and the campfire. Easy access to the lake. Close proximity to Worlds End State Park.
My husband and I stayed at the Crestmont Inn for 2 nights. We had such a wonderful time! Our room was beautiful and sparkling clean! The bed was firm and very comfortable. As this was an unusually hot weekend on the mountain the air conditioning was very welcome! The new management is fantastic! Very welcoming and accommodating. Staying at the Crestmont also allows you to have access/privileges at the lake and the Eagles Mere Country Club as well. The rooms are well priced and include a simple, continental breakfast. The restaurant is open on Friday and Saturday nights for dinner. The menu looked delicious. As we already had dinner plans with family we did not try it on this visit but we plan to on our next stay! It is also pet friendly if you want to bring your furry best friend with you! We highly recommend the Crestmont Inn for your next visit to Eagles Mere! …
My Wife and I have stayed at the Crestmont many times. They Previous Owners are back and running it as a Guest House. We enjoy the Lake and it's beautiful beach. The Eagles Mere Air Museum is worth a trip. It now has a "Muscle Car" Museum for the same Admission. We had Dinner Saturday Night. They serve Salad Bar with Shrimp,Salmon and Chicken for $20 or You can have a Giant Steak dinner for $20. Hope to be back for Fall Foliage , if not sooner
Stayed over the Fourth of July weekend. Lovely and serene surroundings. Enjoyed the proximity of the village and the Lake. Loved that each room has its own theme. An ample complementary breakfast was provided. Our room was charming, comfortable, welcoming, and clean. No problems with online reservations. Current innkeepers are most hospitable.
Under new management the Crestmont Inn is delightful. The quaint charm that is Eagles Mere has remained, but it is clean and comfortable. For the reasonable room rate you get snacks, and beach/Country Club privileges. You really can’t beat the relaxed atmosphere in this beautiful mountain resort. Will definitely be back!
Loved it here. The food was amazing. The room was lovely. I t wax nicely decorate and comfortable. . If stay here again. We had a room on the second floor. If you have mobility issues request a room on the first floor.
My husband and I spent one night here as we traveled back towards home. This was our second visit as we had a wonderful stay many years ago so fond memories brought us back. First of all they were incredibly disorganized with our reservation. I made our reservation online but had a question so I called...and called.....they never answered the phone and so I always left a message. They would call back but the first message to us the woman basically said she didn't know what we were talking about. I called back to clarify, again no answer so left message. They called and again left us a message stating that "The room you say you booked is already taken for that night". Confused I called again.....of course no answer so I left a message stating that we are the ones that are booked in the room and I have the reservation number. I don't understand why they didn't cross reference the name on reservation with my name. Finally I found that emailing worked better as I got a response right pretty quickly. I got an email confirmation that yes we have the room. When we arrived...YES we did have a room...few. Check in went well and we headed to our room. As others have stated, the rooms (or at least our room) was very outdated, dark and the mattress literally had marks from where people sleep. The bathroom was the level of a cheap motel which is fine if that's what you are paying for. BUT we were determined to have a fabulous time and since we don't typically sweat the small stuff we did. We enjoyed our dinner, although we had to ask for bread when it was given to the table next to us but none offered to us and my husband's dinner was served with fries instead of the nice salad that was supposed to come with it....(fries were not even on the menu) so they had to switch that. When we arrived for breakfast the servers were super friendly but running around like crazy and nicely told us that they were just too busy and they would get to us when they could....We sat in the front dining room by ourselves until they finally came to serve us. This really was not a bother as we were basically just enjoying our time together. Breakfast was delicious and as I said earlier, the servers were delighful. So in spite of everything (including the fact that it was so foggy we couldn't see anything up there but that's just nature ) we had a very nice stay. So my opinion would be to check it out for yourself. We stay at many B&B's and Inn's and I feel it is overpriced for the condition of the rooms but it is a charming place that you just have to experience for yourself. Our first visit was better and we will probably not head back unless updates are made but hey, you never know. :)…
