We just stayed here for a night and next morning... we were sure sad that we had to leave so soon due to time constraints! We plan on going back for a whole weekend soon ... it’s tucked away amongst the woods next to George Child’s state park.. the cottages are so cozy and beautiful; very comfortable, with a fire pit outside if you want to use it. It’s a short walk to Dingmans falls in George Child’s national park.. completely untouched and wild! A lovely sight for the eyes.. Patricia, the wonderful owner is always so ready to help with anything.. she’s always available when called, so willing to give suggestions and help All in all .. I highly highly recommend this place ! It’s close to Raymundskill and Bushkill falls as well as to beautiful lakes like Culver! Thoroughly enjoyed it!

We booked this cottage (#2) last minute as a getaway for my husband and I, as we have had a crazy few months. We needed some peace and quiet! We loved it here! The cottage was perfect for us (the bathroom was kind of small for my husband but not a deal breaker). We hiked to see the falls every day and walked around the property to check it out! The cottage was immaculate and well appointed. The firepit was perfect and we were left with wood so we didn't even need to bring our own. We had lunch at the Forklift Cafe (yummm) and did some shopping at the Phoenix store (very interesting items). We love this place and are looking forward to our next trip here!

We originally visited & reviewed in 2014. We FINALLY got to return and loved every minute of our stay. Cottage #4 was immaculate, it had everything we needed. We really enjoyed sitting on our deck and also the firepit. This was the perfect place to relax. Bed was comfortable, cool night air made for perfect sleep. Owner Patricia and “cabin keeper” Dan were both a pleasure. I hope we don’t wait 5 years to return again!

We spent two nights at Babbling Brook and loved it. We chose #4 for the fireplace, and found it to be spotlessly clean, comfy, and cozy. There's a bedroom with a full size bed plus a futon, a living room, dining room, tiny but adequate bathroom with tub/shower, and full size kitchen furnished with all the basics if you want to cook while you're there, which we did not! The fireplace was so nice, although the provided wood was too damp to burn with all the recent rain. No problem, we picked up some duraflames. We found a couple of great places to eat or do take out a short drive away on 739. The setting of the cottages is the real attraction though. At least a couple of brooks flowing through the property, lots of trees and plants, all just beautiful and green. Whether we were inside enjoying the fireplace or outside enjoying nature, our getaway was a wonderful experience that we won't forget.

After searching trip advisor for a cottage getaway that accepts pets, I found Babbling Brook. The problem was my family doesn't just have any pet, we have a micro pig. I took a chance and called and a woman answered the phone named Patricia who I found out was the owner. I explained our situation and she had no hesitation, although never encountered, a piglet named Ana visit her property...lol. We arrived to cottage #3. Immediately as we walked in my family, my daughter, her significant other, myself, and Ana felt we were relaxed. The cottage was pristine! Unfortunately we arrived during a week that had bad rain storms and all the state parks were closed around us but we knew that ahead of time and took enough board games and dvd's to keep us occupied. The grounds were beautiful and so peaceful. We knew the weather was going to be bad that week so we took food to cook in and the kitchen was stocked with everything was needed. A charcoal grill, deck and two big picnic tables were also ours to use as well as a big firepit which we did get to use a few hours before the rain set in again. The day after arrival a knock came at the door and Patricia came to check on us and visit Ana. Again, a little skeptical but she accepted her not minding the nibbling on her. Sorry, Patricia, that's just getting to know you and I think that she is still going through withdrawl leaving there as we all are! Two nights just weren't enough to explore the area. Unfortunately all the state parks that are next to the property were closed due to the tornadoes that passed by a few months ago. The reopening is unknown unfortunately. But, when the weather is good there is horseback riding, zip lining, white water rafting, etc...to do really close by. On our checkout day the power was off because of the storms that week. Dan, the grounds keeper was walking around checking on us. He was a sweet man also from the short time we met him. The only bad part of this getaway is we couldn't have stayed longer! The grounds and the cottages are beautiful as so is the owner and Dan. If you encounter them you will know Patricia takes pride in her property and wants to make sure everyone is comfortable and accommodated to the fullest. We plan on returning for a fall trip for my daughters Halloween birthday. I'm sure it will be beautiful there in the fall. Can't wait to return! Thanks Patricia and Dan...Michelle, Ariana, Tyler and Ana (Anastasia)
