We stayed over 4th of July so this place was packed but that was to be expected. It's a large campground with tons of potential but it needs so much. The roads throughout the grounds are terrible. The rain washes them out and leaves large ruts and holes all over. They have a nice looking pool but there are no... More

The only nice thing is that the campground offers many shades sites. That is it. People fly around on golf carts, making it dangerous. The electric hookup is on a different side than the water is, leading to difficulty hooking both up. Thankfully we had a long enough line. However, from 11-6 on both days of the weekend, we were... My family and our friends broke in our season of camping last April at Hickory Run. The ladies in the office were super nice. They have a cute lil store with things if you need them, not all that expensive. We rented out a small cabin that had two sets of twin bunks, a fold out futon, a cooler, a... More

Overnight run to get the "bugs" out of our new camper before our camping trips and stayed 1 night opening weekend, very nice campground, friendly people, think it would be a great place over the summer!

We are 2 seniors travelling and stayed here over the Columbus Day weekend. This is a good place to camp with kids. The grounds are nice and fairly well kept, washrooms clean but could use an update. The staff at the office are helpful. the things we did not appreciate were the loud music from many campsites, barking dogs, hourly... More

We stayed here the weekend of 9/18/15 and had a great time. The pictures on the web site do not do the campground justice. The grounds are clean, sites are spacious and wide, and bathrooms were clean. The staff are wonderful and always willing to help. The seasonal campers that I met were a great crew and very welcoming of... More

Nothing but noisy, smelly dust- raising golf carts running around this place.. Many of these "campers" could use a little exercise. The roads are in need of care. The barking dog rule must be an old one.. I wouldn't stay here again if it was free

When I called to make a reservation (no online), I explained that I had a 40' Fifth Wheel, with a balcony on the end. At the time the only site that they said would fit my site was a 45' site, and a back in one, so i wouldn't be able to put the balcony/ramp down. This was ok as... More

We have been coming here for years. Apparently they have money to buy horses and build new fences and barns, but the roads are in HORRIBLE disrepair, EVERYTHING is dated, NOTHING is maintained and the owner Stan is rude, arrogant, and demeaning. We will not be returning, because we will not put one more cent in his pocket. I would... More

Paid for the site in advance by stopping by the campground. Upon arrival got interrogated about our good sam discount. Instead of giving us a hard time train your office staff. Wont be back, and we camped there every year. The roads are pitiful. Not a good representation of the ownership.
