Great experience. Room was very clean and well appointed for my 3 week business stay. I needed to leave each morning very early. Carol arranged to have the breakfast placed in my room refrigerator each evening so that I was ready to go in the morning.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights. The Lavender room was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were away (she had texted me to let me know) and that was not a problem. She had arranged for a staff member to fill us in on the accommodations. The room was above my expectations. So much nicer than a hotel. Very quiet area. Cafe downstairs had great food and staff so friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay again!

This was our first stay in a B & B, and the bar has been set high! From the spotless conditions, to the attention to details, everything was perfect! Not only would we highly recommend The Courtyard to others but we hope to return soon!

We make a trip out this way a few times a year. We normally stay at a higher priced Inn but this time of year they require a 2 night stay so we needed to look for somewhere else to stay. I just happened to stumble upon the Courtyard AND I AM SO GLAD I DID! WOW. What a beautiful place. From the room to the landscape to the amenities I was impressed. The innkeeper is also a doll. We arrived early and decided to get a bite to eat at the cafe located at the same property. The innkeeper came in and introduced herself and took me up to show me around our room the ‘lavender room’ - it really is a beautiful room. The Courtyard is located conveniently in PA Amish/Mennonite which makes it very easy to take country roads to popular places like Intercourse and Bird-in-Hand. It is also very close to Reningers Antique Market (which is also a must see) We have DEFINITELY found our new home base when we are out that way!!

My wife and I went out for our first vacation in over a year and it turned out to be a brilliant experience. Carol left no stone unturned to make it a truly memorable experience and the attention to detail in the room was amazing! The quaint cafe run by her girls served up some of the most delicious breakfast meals we have had in a very long time. We are completely fans of Carol and the entire group there for making our trip a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cute and extremely thoughtful vacation spot at truly felt like home away from home!

We had an excellent experience from the first phone call until we departed. Our room (Lavender) was modern, super clean, well decorated, and all the amenities you need. For us, it was very convenient as we were visiting friends just a block away. Private parking and in-view from the room.

Fresh, immaculately clean, spacious and new, in a restored row home in quaint Denver, PA. The antique details give warmth and charm but no fussy clutter. We stayed in the Sage room which had a beautiful original brick wall, gas fireplace, old tin tub filled with thick soft towels in the spacious modern bathroom -- a perfect blend of old and new. Carol provides lots of thoughtful details, from the adjustable bed to the coffee and tea center. Homemade pastries, and gifts of jams and scrubs awaited us. We loved having our own private entrance from the outside, and really enjoyed the best breakfast around in the Courtyard Cafe, a popular local spot next door. This is a great place to relax and refresh. The countryside is beautiful and there are dozens of antique shops in the area.
