I just completed another week long stay at the Station Inn at Cresson, PA. I arrived on Sunday afternoon January 10, 2016 and was greeted by Tom Davis, owner and he immediately showed me to my room, the O@W Room, after providing me with keys and registration card. He made sure my room was at a comfortable temperature and I... More

Awesome for watching trains! Great view from the porch, many of the rooms, and the other side of the tracks. You make many new friends watching trains from the porch and during the outstanding daily breakfast cooked by Sandy. Tom is a very friendly host and he has all the information about trains in Cresson you'll need to know! This... More

The purpose of my coming to Cresson and my stay at the Station Inn was to watch trains and converse with other railfans. If your looking for nightlife, fancy restaurants and bars, this is not your stop. If watching trains and exchanging info and sharing your hobby with others is your passion... the Station Inn is the place to be.... More

If your looking for a room with TV and phone then this is not the place for you. If you enjoy taking pictures, video or just plain watching trains then this is the place to go. The Inn is located across the street from NS's busy triple track main Pittsburgh Line. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and all have their... More

Sole purpose of my visit was to watch trains. Tom, the proprietor, is incredibly congenial and reminded me of my grand-father with his stories. I am going to rate sleep quality as average because it was the first time for me at a Bed & Breakfast. And, it would be unfair to compare these beds to those found at a... More

Just stayed 4 nights with 4 friends in the new Leigh Valley suite - 3 rooms each with 2 beds and there are 2 bathrooms with showers off the hall. There is also a small "lounge" at the front door. This was about my 10th stay at the Inn and as usual it was a wonderful experience. Went to Cumberland... More

Had an absolute blast at Tom's place in Cresson, The Station Inn. Travelling up from Australia to the USA, this would be my highlight of the 4 weeks in America. The inn is beautiful inside & out. Plenty of other travelling railfans to meet & have a laugh with. Made some great friends. Breakfast on both mornings I was there... More

Stayed at The Station Inn the first weekend of August 2014 for my 89th separate Station Inn visit since my first stay in 1997, The Station Inn has seen many improvements over that span of time. The Inn had a major addition added in 2000, along with the addition of two additional guestrooms at that time in 2000....The O@W room... More

Just back from a to short stay of 3 days and 2 nights at the Station Inn. What can I say this time? My 13 y.o son and I were assigned the Erie room right off the main room. The room was spotless, very comfortable and overall this is the best room in the Inn! The breakfasts were wonderful and... More

Just spent four nights and enjoyed every second. Premises full of character, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and excellent breakfasts. Overlooks busy railway line which was the reason why I and most guests were there. As a light sleeper I thought beforehand that this might be too much of a good thing at night but I need not have worried. The... More
