Paradise Stream Resort, often chosen for dining and romantic escapes, boasts a nostalgic charm with its unique heart-shaped tubs and starlit ambiances that guests find endearing. The staff at the resort receives accolades for their welcoming nature, although there are occasional remarks about service pace and room preparation holdups. While the variety of amenities, including private pools and jacuzzis, is a highlight for many, travelers call for enhancements and modern touches. Moreover, despite some guests encountering well-kept rooms, others suggest a more rigorous approach to cleaning and room refurbishment to truly meet the resort's potential and advertised experience.

We stayed in the Champagne Towers for our first year anniversary. The room was kept nice and warm even though it was cold outside(Late November). It was a nice touch since it encouraged us to wear less clothes while in our room! A fan would have be good to bring or install in bedroom though. The Mount Airy casino was so close and we also visited Sunset Ridge shooting range which was fun! The bed was very comfortable, the atmosphere was romantic and staff was very friendly. The chipotle shrimp was the best dinner entree I tried-it was delicious! The breakfast bar was really nice too! We want to go back again and didn't want to leave. Thank you for making our anniversary special Paradise Resort!

We are forever lovers but have not been here in about 15 years, let me say it has not changed in 15 yrs. Very minor updates but no matter where my husband and I go we have a good time. I think its because we really love each others company and now on with the review. Made reservations on line with paradise stream for the champagne towers. Mind you with their own web site not booking or any other site. And they never asked for a credit card, which I thought was odd but who knows maybe with the corona and being able to cancel without fees up to 2 days prior. So I thought we were all set. Mind you this was 2 weeks prior to us arriving. A couple of days before we arrived I reached out to paradise streams asking about the coffee pot in the room. They replied and I thanked them and said how I was looking forward to our arrival. Imagine my shock when I got there went to check in and found out they canceled my reservation because I did not give them my credit card! And to top it all off they said they reached out to me, no way no how, I think if they had I would have known. So we had to get an apple suit, mind you the only thing that has changed is the flooring and the wall paper nothing else. Its still the same as the first time I went back in 1983. The first room stunk to high heaven from cigarettes so they had to move us. The front of the door was covered in butts. The second room was ok, no one cleaned up in the pool area there was plastic caps and the cover was not on the pool. Other wise the room is old plain and simple. The mirrors need to be cleaned. We had both meals, breakfast was buffet same thing all the days, and dinner was nothing I do mean nothing to write home about. It filled the void. The soup was so salty you could not eat it, the chicken was dried out and the pasta was over cooked but what can you expect for the price. They now have you make reservations for breakfast and dinner which I do not like at all, I never know where or what we will be doing. The entertainment used to be so much better now if there was 5 couples in the lounge that was alot. First night was band, second night a single singer. We lasted through 1 drink and left. Now the good about it, all of the staff are wonderful, helpful and friendly. The grounds are really well kept. They are quick to try to fix any complaint and do it with a smile. Diane the bartender even brought her own mint to make mojitos and was more then happy to make mine sugar free. We will definitely go back its a nice quiet get away but you need to be prepared the pictures are not accurate at all I do believe they are from the first day they opened. I really feel each room needs to be gutted and re decorated make it modern and clean from top to bottom.

While we're pleased you will definitely return, we want to make sure we address everything you've written about that made your stay less than perfect. Cleanliness is a top priority for us, as is communication- without being able communicate effectively, shortcomings will occur, and it appears this is what happened during your stay. We apologize profusely- this is far from typical of an experience at our resort and we've got work to do to make sure nothing like this occurs again. You shouldn't have to have this as a memory of your getaway to our resort and we will make sure your feedback is shared with the Resort Manager and all relevant department heads whose teams are responsible for the parts of your stay you didn't enjoy.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this resort. We were originally scheduled to stay only 2 nights but it was so peaceful, we decided to stay an extra night. We also included breakfast and dinner in our package. Since nothing is really available as far as activities right now, they waived the resort fee for each day. Everything and everyone was properly social distanced and mask wearing by all and there was plastic coverings on the phone and TV remote and breakfast and dinner in the resort was also well distanced. We went August 11th to the 14th so the pool was open but there was only one other couple there. We actually cancelled our dinner inside on our 3rd night because it was an absolutely gorgeous night so we could eat outside and have some drinks. You must order food if you wanted cocktails. There was live entertainment but maybe only 2 other couples were outside. We had absolutely nothing to worry about. Spooners Cafe's food was awesome. We actually liked it much better than the indoor restaurant however, all our servers, indoors and outdoors were wonderful. Breakfast buffets had servers but the food could have been warmer. Check- in was a breeze and front desk staff were very accommodating. We stayed in one of the Lakeside Chalets which was perfect for us. Mini fridge helped out with leftovers from room service. The only things that my husband and I felt that could use attention was when you first pull up to the property, the flags hanging out front really should be replaced as they are shredded terribly and our room could have been a little cleaner as far as dusting and the bathroom floor goes. Housekeeping needs to have a little talking to by management because they didn't really leave a good impression with us. This was our 3rd visit to this particular resort and don't remember having an issue before. Also, the outside deck needs some major clean-up. My husband was real disappointed with that. Also, the sign at the entrance is very dated but maybe retro at the same time. All in all, would we go back to this resort again ?....in a heartbeat ❤

Thank you for your feedback! While we're pleased you had an overall great stay and would come back in a heartbeat, we want you to come back to enjoy an experience that's perfect from start to finish. Fortunately, these are all things we can fix, whether it's the flags out front, the temperature of the food, or overall cleanliness of your suite. We're going to follow up with the Resort Manager regarding these items and have them addressed immediately with the relative department supervisors so we can ensure your next visit delivers an absolutely stunning experience.

I checked in on New Years Eve. I went to my room and called the front desk within the first hour to request additional face towel and blanket. I had to call back two additional times to asking for the same items, they only provided two face towels for two guests. The meals for New Years Eve weren’t that good and the midnight buffet was totally nasty the chicken overcooked, breakfast items dry and the presentation made you not want it. Our room was the Apple with the sauna, I went to use it New Year Day and discovered spider web covering the entry of the door and inside in various area. It was late so I didn’t call the front desk, but showed them the video the next morning and asked to clean the area so I could us it tonight my anniversary. Return to room after hour away and the sauna area still the same called front desk and they send someone to correct problem. I went to use sauna and spider web still there.

Your site needs the manager to come out of her office and provide a check list for cleaning rooms and the look at the meals the staff are putting out. If she thinks its up to standard then you will be losing many customers. Manager has to provide standard and hold personnel to the standard set, or they just do what they think you want.
Take pride in the resort. Provide the customer with a quality vacation. Don’t just take their money and not care about their experience at your resort. Upgrade the place and just replacing the flooring isn’t an upgrade. I have stayed in each room except the cabin on the lake and the Apple twice. The place look and is old!! The customer that you now don’t care about the experience and take us for granted are dying off and those of us that have the means and demand what we pay for will just remove you from our vacations list of places. I rented to Apple for the sauna and never got to use it because of your staff. Most resort would have made so type of compensation to the customer. When I show the video and asked for the manager all they could say is she’s gone. The CXO did send wine and strawberry to our room. Positive things the New Years Eve party was very good and everyone seems to have enjoyed it. The staff in the bar area were very friendly and made you feel welcome. Amy, I think was her name was very positive about the resort.

Another example of the lack of professionalism and pride go look at the bathroom door in the restaurants. Painting cover issue.

With the newly issued Covid restrictions of not permitting entertainment indoors the resort tried to accommodate it's guest with the removal of resort fees, meals being brought to the room and a free movie rental. The room was clean and had no indication of bed bugs. (I check every location I intend to stay.) The kitchen was accommodating to a gluten allergy and personal preferences.
The room is in need of updating. The sauna has old equipment that malfunctioned. The bathroom had leaking faucets. The faucet on the champagne glass hot tub did not extend into the tub far enough. When filling the tub it caused water to spill onto the tile surrounding the tub. One the first night of our stay is way relatively windy causing a down draft in our fire place. When we lit our fire log smoke was pouring into our room. I am surprised that the smoke alarm did not go off.
I did not like that necessities (eg. paper products, coffee, soaps) needed to be requested with the front desk. If supplies can not be stored in the room then such items should come daily with out needing to ask for them. Depending on when you call (while meals are being delivered) it took time to get what you need. On one occasion I went to the desk in the morning and had to call twice to get what I needed. I was then told that the items were placed in an inconspicuous location 2 hours prior. When I did get my items they had not been sitting outside for 2 hours. If you failed to perform your task take ownership of it. Don't make your guest feel like they failed in searching for them.
In summary this location fills the need but did not meet my expectation. Your travel dollars could be spent in other locations that go above and beyond.

I know that this is cheesy but ever since I was a kid I've always wanted to go to The Poconos. With the travel options being slim, I finally decided that this was the year for me to go. I read hundreds and hundreds of reviews but I'm so happy that I finally came. Here is my breakdown of everything:

Location: The property itself is nice and secluded but it's within driving distance to almost anything that you can think of. We left the property a few times to explore the area. There's a liquor store and plenty of fast food places right up the road. There were also a few sit down restaurants within 10 mins of the resort.

The Resort: It was fall but we had nice weather the weekend that we went. Some things were closed because of Covid but there were still tons of things to do inside and out. Bands, DJs, Mini Golf, etc. They give you a list of things to do when you arrive but they also update the info online.

The Rooms: We had the Champagne Suite. Is it old? Yes. So what! I wasn't looking for every single chip or crack because I was chilling. There was so much to do in the room that I hated leaving. A swimming pool, a hot tub, our own fridge, 2 TVs and a Sauna. The sauna didn't work but everything else worked great. Everything was clean but we had our own Clorox Wipes, Clorox Spray, Febreze and small candles to make it feel like home. I took the tip of buying the duralog before I arrived but it was 75 degrees the whole weekend. I would bring the logs on a colder trip.

The Food: Ok....This was my only gripe. The breakfast was ok....The staff kinda made up for the food to be honest. Dinner wasn't bad but don't go there and expect Ruth's Chris. There's a set menu that you can go down the list to make choices. Some choices were great but other choices were just ok. My advice would be to check the menu for the days that you're going before booking the dinner package. The drinks are expensive so be prepared to spend $30 on 2 martinis.

Overall I love this place and I'd return again.

I stayed here this past Wednesday for my birthday. We were meant to stay until Saturday, but chose to leave Thursday due to cleanliness issues. I work for a big chain hotel I know the industry is struggling, which is why I let a lot of things slide when we first arrived. The private pool water was very dirty. Floating white objects and the bottom of the pool was stained. Beer bottle cap from previous guest was also left. We figured it’s fine we can deal w not swimming in the private pool. I brought my own Clorox to clean out the hot tub which absolutely needed it. There is mold growing around all surfaces near water in this room. Around the hot tub had spots and the shower was awful! Thursday we pulled the blankets back (we were exhausted the previous night and just slept on top of them) and there was a giant (what I hope was) chocolate stain on the blanket which obviously leads me to believe they didn’t change the linen in the rooms. When I called the front desk the supervisor didn’t seem to concerned she just kept saying interesting literally sounding like she could care less the linens hadn’t been changed. She told me the mold around the shower was actually just black caulk not mold. I will be attaching pictures to show no way is that the caulking. First thing she said is why didn’t you call when you saw the other issues. And yes I should have but it was all stuff I was willing to pass by because again I know our industry is hurting and they may be short staffed or whatever. But the not changing linen is what did it for me. I was told I would be receiving a refund for the two nights we didn’t stay there. I know credits take a couple business days so I’ll be waiting on that. The room is very outdated, the smell is awful in the rooms, and cleanliness is horrible.

This place is awful, we visit on 9/26 to celebrate our anniversary, we were supposed to stay 3 nights and left after the 2nd night, they had to change our room from Diana's Oasis the carpet was dirty, they use some kind of spray in those rooms for the carpets, or the mold, I'm not sure, it gave me a terrible reaction; Gaby from the front desk was very nice and offer us a room at the Adams Apple suite, no carpet for the same price so we stayed that night, but decided to leave the next morning, the place is so outdated, the tiles around the pool in our room were cracked, the carpet in the dining room area are dirty, the outside of the rooms are never clean they are full of dust and leaves, the outside of those rooms need a good cleaning and paint job. The carpet in the night club are also dirty. I have to say the only thing we enjoyed was the DJ on Friday night 9/27 he was great and the bartender was very nice. The management to this place does not care about the customers, the place is over price, dirty and the evening dinners are terrible. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I stayed at Cove Resorts since 1991, I stopped going in 2012 it just wasn’t the same, however because of Covid where else can you go without a lot of people. Well things has changed since 2012. I stayed at Champagne Towers. The room was clean. I thought my champagne glass tub was dirty so I sprayed with Lysol and dumped a half bottle of bubble bath and jumped in and scrubbed well ladies despite the look this tub it is clean so no need to be alarmed trust me on this. We made dinner reservations and ask to be put in a corner away from everyone and they did food was delicious. Breakfast was great too no complaints Now for entertainment they had an DJ outside he was wonderful we dance the night away I had so much fun we tipped the DJ. This place is for lovers you make your own fun. I had the best time ever in a very long time. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Paradise Stream

We purchased a Groupon for a two night stay in the Garden of Eden Suites with two breakfasts and two dinners included (highly recommended).

The room was spacious, included our own swimming pool and hot tub, grounds were well kept. Both the staff and guest were extremely diverse. Paradise Stream is welcoming to different ethnic backgrounds as well as the LGBTQ community.

Due to Covid not all resort activities were open but did get to play mini golf and sit by the outdoor pool. A good live band entertained and engaged the guest, playing a wide variety of music.

Breakfast and dinner were by reservation due to Covid but there were plenty of times to choose from. Four course dinner and staff served buffet breakfast. Main entrees were tasty and portions were large. Cheesecake was delicious!

Outdoor bartender, Diane, was extremely friendly and attentive. As well as Pat from Spooners Cafe, who took the time on our last evening to answer our many questions about the resort and our possible next visit to Paradise Stream.

Well, the one that we had in our room was transparent. But there are 3 resorts: Cove Haven. Paradise Stream and Pocono Palace. and some of them have pink champagne towers. We stayed in Paradise Stream Resort…. Our room also had a private heart shape pool. It was a really nice stay… good luck!!
