This hotel has excellent customer service. It was very clean and secure. Pool was open with limited use due to Civid regulations. Good location. Nice city view from the room. Con: It is time to upgrade the matressess and pillows.
This was our first hotel experience since Covid began. The room was spotless. No maid service unless you made an appointment. They gave us more than enough towels for our 3 night stay, and it was easy to request extra toilet paper at the front desk. The "Grab 'n Go" breakfast was nicely done. Everyone wore masks. I felt comfortable. And it was a good value.
I stayed here two nights while in town for an Eagles game played at Heinz Field. Check in was easy, parking was ample, and the room was adequate- everything worked (except for the hair dryer, which buzzed and vibrated for about 10 seconds before stopping completely and never got going again the rest of the time I was there). The other annoying thing was that there was only one regular coffee pod put in the room, which necessitated an extra trip to the front desk to get a second one (assuming most people stay as a couple in a room, at least two should be there, especially in a pandemic when the goal is to keep extra trips down as much as possible). Last thing was there was a couple put right across from my room- pandemic intelligence would seem to suggest it's better to distance people and, given the fact that there were less than 10 cars for what looks like close to 100 rooms, it would make sense no one would be right next to each other. Location is right off highway 19 with no access to anything aside from the highway, so this isn't a particularly good area if you're looking to walk around or run (although there are several fast food chains in the enclave the hotel is a part of). I lived around here for a little bit, so I always like driving down to North Park for running anyway (it's about 7 miles south off highway 19). Tons of casual sit-down chains, grocery stores, a Walmart, shopping, etc. further north up 19 from the hotel if you're looking for places to go in the vicinity. A quick 20-minute drive to downtown Pittsburgh that is worth it to avoid the hassle of staying in a congested and cramped hotel in the city. Overall a decent place- nothing out of this world, but clean and easy to access. You can't go wrong for the price.…
No reason not to stay here again. Hard to give a true rating because of Corona. Front desk was friendly. Gym was open & consisted of 1 treadmill, 1 eliptical & free weights. Breakfast reflected the virus situation but you should be able to find something from their offerings to get your day started. Location was good with lots of restaurants etc. We had rm. 128 1st floor, back of hotel. Room was quiet. Price was right.
This is a nice, reasonably priced hotel in a convenient location. My room was spacious and comfortable. It has a small bistro within the hotel, so once checked in, we didn't have to go out again to get something to eat. This was very much appreciated after a long day on the road. Free hot breakfast in the morning was pretty good. All in all, a very good value.
