We were only at Frosty Hollow for 2 nights, but it was a great stay. Room was beautiful and comfortable, private bath was big and the common area was stocked with tea and coffee. We had everything we needed and more. The grounds are beautiful and spacious, and Cherry Springs is just down the road. Breakfast was plentiful and the assortment of homemade food was delicious. The mercantile shop was stocked full and we purchased some delicious jams.

My husband and I have been visiting this area for years, mostly at larger places since we usually travel with family. This trip we happened to be 'just us two' and stayed at Frosty Hollow. A more peaceful night was never had. Our room and the common areas were spotless and inviting. The outside porch was lit with red lights so as not to disturb stargazing, which we did right from the yard. Our bed and pillows were supremely comfortable and breakfast was delicious, with something for every taste: a three berry cobbler, scrambled eggs with cheese and fresh chives, cereal, sausage gravy and biscuits, fresh fruit, and yogurt. We cannot wait to come back!

Beautiful room and great food! A friendly place-- would book another stay! The room was cozy and lent to a wonderful vacation. The grounds were beautiful even in the rain. It was a great mid point to attractions and great fishing. Had a blast.

We stayed in a lodge. First, the place has everything and if you could come up with anything you might need, they respond instantly to every petty need -- the best host communication I've ever encountered. Everything is clean, right down to the workshop in the cellar. I didn't sleep in every bed, but the ones I tried are comfortable. You can see Andromeda Galaxy naked-eye from the deck. The only thing you might not like is the unspoiled wilderness and crisp mountain air I suppose, assuming you prefer a crowded city. If I come up with any criticism, I'll update this review -- don't hold your breath.

I love the location, grounds are beautiful and amazing clear sky - so dark you can see the milky way. Make sure you have a full tank and bring food for dinner, dining locations are limited. We had a shared kitchen to warm up or cook food.
