Very impressive, especially compared to the other area Marriott properties, like Courtyard, Fairfield, and Sheraton. Also, impressive compared to other Marriott brand hotels that I’ve stayed in over the past couple of years.

From the moment I checked in, service was great! All of the staff seems to really care and goes out of their way to assist and make contact with guests to ensure all is well. The property itself is very clean, well-maintained and looks great! It’s clearly recently renovated, which definitely helps! There’s a nice, good sized pool that’s indoors and a gym just beyond the pool with lots of equipment and room for several guests to work out simultaneously.

The on-site restaurant is actually a legitimate restaurant, not just a place that heats up pre-made food. They have a full bar with bartenders and servers in the restaurant as well as a pretty decent sized menu, loaded with some interesting items.

Housekeeping did a great job taking care of my room while I was here, it was refreshed daily (like it’s supposed to be!) and made to look like a new room each time. The towels are very soft and absorbent! The charging ports in the room are located in many places, from beside the bed to the desk and near the TV.

Elevators work perfectly and are prompt when you call them and quick to take you to the floor you requested and parking is ample and not a far walk from the front door.

Overall, I am VERY happy with this stay and will stay here again… Especially since I’ve been visiting every other week for several weeks now for work.

This hotel is very close to the Pittsburgh airport and the Robinson area, and was a great choice for a swimming staycation for our family. We called many Marriott properties to see who had their pools open and what their Covid procedures were, and they varied from "first come first serve, limit ten" to "sign up for an hour" - and many reps were not happy to answer these questions. When I talked to Michael and he patiently walked us through what to expect, we knew this was the place to stay! The pool is larger than most hotel pools in Pittsburgh, and so the occupancy is higher. It was very clean and the chairs are very spread out, and we had a great time!

The lobby looks totally renovated, and while the rooms are showing their age, there were signs around showing the room renovation concepts, so I think this place is getting a facelift soon. The keycard hole was covered with a sticker showing the room had been cleaned and sanitized, and the mask policy was clear and followed, elevator policy was max 2, and sanitizers were all around. I felt comfortable!

Don't miss the koi pond out back - even with the frozen top, the fish were still active and fun to watch.

Only here for a short stay prior to a flight the next day. However, hotel was comfortable and convenient to the airport.

Traveling for business necessitates hotel stays of 10 hours or less at times and this was one of them. Needed a place to sleep before an early morning flight. The hotel is located about a 10 min drive to the airport (super close) with free parking (though parking lot can be really dark at night).

The hotel lobby was decent sized, a few check in counters and then a good size bar / restaurant. Check-in went fairly smoothly, not too many people. Just missed the club lounge closing so no idea how nice it was.

Rooms were standard Marriott fare, spaciois enough, with some updates. Bed was fine (I can sleep in most any kind of hotel bed). Wi-fi worked well. Bathroom was ok size, typical for a mid-level property. You'll find what you'll need here, but nothing much more.

This was by far one of the loudest hotels I have stayed at. Kids running up and down the hallways, playing on elevators, music blasting in rooms. Several weddings were happening and I understand the excitement but it was over the top.
Several large dogs (which we don’t mind) but several in the lobby barking which would echo up to the rooms!
The staff seemed overwhelmed at the front desk. Additionally they did not offer a concierge lounge on the weekend so in its place they only offered a bkfst voucher for 2 while we had a reservation for 3 people.

Not worth the money in the end. Will stay at a different location next time so we can have quiet hours observed.

Lauraliveit21, we're sincerely disheartened to hear about the issues you experienced concerning noise and the interactions you had with our front desk colleagues. It's of utmost importance that all guests feel relaxed during their stay, and we're sorry to hear you couldn't fully enjoy your time with us due to these unfortunate circumstances. We also understand your disappointment regarding the lack of a weekend concierge lounge and the breakfast arrangements. We strive to provide clear and accurate information about our amenities, and we regret any misunderstanding. We sincerely hope that you will reconsider and afford us the opportunity to serve you better in the future.

I checked in on Thursday night and like most hotels currently house keeping was by request only. I requested to have additional towels brought to me Friday morning and house keeping on Saturday. I got a knock on my door around 11 on Friday, and opened the door assuming it was housekeeping bringing the requested linens. Instead it was a construction worker asking to take photos of the inside of my room. Housekeeping never arrived with the extra linens on Friday, or for cleaning on Saturday. I requested - and was granted 2pm checkout on Monday. At 8:30am I was awoken to housekeeping attempting to force my door open. At 11am they once again attempted to force my door open. Even had I not received a 2pm checkout, I still would have been in my room both of these times as regular check out is noon. Neither time housekeeping attempted to enter on Monday did they knock before attempting to open the door.

I stayed at the property once before in April of last year. I had a satisfactory experience during that visit, so I opted to stay at this property once again. This time around I could the experience to be less than before.

I checked in using the Marriot Bonvoy app. Same as before, the app only showed me the assigned room number and has no mobile key. I checked in at the front desk and felt as though I was bothering the staff member who assisted me. I was told the mobile key was activated and would work by the time I got to the room. Three tries/trips later it still does not work…the only Marriott property where I have ever had this issue.

While checking in, I was told ‘of course, you know the pool is closed.’ Just how exactly would I have known this? I see a pool closure message is posted on your website today but who keeps checking the website page once the reservation is made? I was glad to see that at least the fitness center was open although accessing it through the poll area was a bit of a hazard with the work taking place.

I was also told the Concierge Lounge was closed (one of the reasons I chose this property). Apparently, it is closed most of the weekend, from noon Friday through Sunday evening. I struggle to understand the logic. Clearly, you only cater to the Monday thru Friday crowd and everyone else is on their own. I am curious about something. If I go on your website to book a reservation for Saturday night, I am presented with an option to pay more for Concierge Lounge Access. How do you justify charging folks 40+ dollars more for a service not being offered?

The room was very spacious and modern, but two things made it a lackluster experience. The first was the smell that hits you as soon as you walk through the door. I am not sure what It was, but it certainly wasn’t pleasant. The second thing is how poorly the room was cleaned. It was borderline between being acceptable and going to complain. I opted to just deal with it, but I certainly do not feel I should have been using a washcloth to wipe who knows what off the floor.

This was not a great stay. Knowing what I know now I certainly would have opted to stay at one of the other Marriott properties in the area.

Dear davidoW3493UF, Thank you for taking the time to provide this valuable feedback regarding your recent visit. We sincerely apologize that we did not live up to your, or our own standards. We appreciate you making us aware of the issue with your Mobile Key. If you can see the room number in the app, that means that the hotel sent the key to the phone, so we are following up with the Mobile Key service provider to ensure that the service is working properly on the back end. At a hotel-level, we will be reviewing Mobile Key troubleshooting with the Front Desk staff to make sure that we are doing everything we can if there is an issue with a Mobile Key. I apologize that this was not as convenient and easy a process as it should have been. While our Concierge Lounge is closed from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon, we are pleased to offer our Platinum, Titanium, and Ambassador Elite members 750 Bonus Points per day, or a Complimentary Breakfast for 2 in our restaurant. We understand that the Concierge Lounge is a great benefit during the week, and aim to give our Loyal members great service on the weekends as well, even with the Lounge closed. While you may see the Concierge room-types displayed on our website, when you click it on the weekends, it should return an error that the room-type is not available. I apologize for the cleanliness issues and odor in your room. I have shared your feedback with the housekeeping leadership team to ensure that this was an isolated experience. Offering a clean, comfortable room is one of the prides of this hotel, and I'm sorry that we fell short in this instance. A room should never be "borderline," and we know we are better than that. We truly appreciate your feedback, and apologize that it wasn't a perfect stay. We hope to have the opportunity to show you a better experience the next time you are in the Pittsburgh area. Have an amazing day! Sincerely, Michael S Director of Rooms Pittsburgh Airport Marriott

I have been here many times for work. The food/bar is always busy but worth it. The gym has been remodeled and is pretty extensive for a hotel. The rooms are standard Marriott rooms.
I have this hotel a 2 because they always have groups here, you can request to be put far away, but that never happens. If you call and complain about the noise they will “send the security up”, which never happens. If you call more than once they get annoyed with you. I don’t complain often, but I draw the line at banging on doors and screaming through the halls. I use to put white noise on with the sleep timer on the tv but the last two times the tv timers don’t work.

I can say I’ve spent over 80 nights in Marriott’s in the last year and checked out of this hotel early after two nights and checked into a non Marriott hotel, sacrificing all the points I would have earned the rest of my business trip.

I’ve never had this bad of service from a Marriott before, and not for lack of effort. The staff was, well, present. If I ever had a question, after at least 15-20 minutes of waiting in a line of people for assistance, it would be interrupted by someone turning to speak on a walkie talkie or answer a call. They were busy, and probably understaffed, but it did not afford for the level of service expected with the Marriott brand. No one has the time to wait 20 minutes to charge a bottled water to their room.

Every guest services member I spoke to was less welcoming and clearly distracted.

The brisket quesadilla was delicious though.

Everything was great. I was especially thankful that Rayna at the front desk helped me with my payment as my cards were declined. She was a great customer service rep. Thanks and we will probably be staying again in the spring. We also liked the fact that the shower and toilet were separate so that 2 of us could get ready at the same time.
