Would recommend for anyone cycling the GAP. No air conditioning, but ceiling fans and good ventilation made this a non issue. Large property that we were free to roam. Very easy access from the trail, and the owner drove us into town for dinner. I spent significant time on a porch swing watching butterflies in the lovely flower garden.

My husband and our two daughters (21 and 23) had such a wonderful time staying at Hanna House this week during our "Bike the GAP." Frances was such a gracious hostess...greeting us with sun tea and brownies...driving us to a nearby restaurant (such a treat after biking 30+ miles) for dinner....and then a fabulous breakfast in the morning. Her historic... More

We had a great stay with Francis at her historic home. We spent time on both her great front porch and back yard. Hard to believe the farmer can make much money with all of the deer in the field at night. After a day of biking we were appreciative of the ride Francis gave us to and from dinner.... More

We are a family of 4 and we got 2 rooms on the 1st floor, each room with a double bed. Bedrooms are spacious with plenty of space for our luggage. Bathroom is shared and it's also very large. Rooms have ceiling fans (no A/C) but temp was comfortable. Breakfast was made to order and it was delicious: eggs, bread,... More

We were welcomed by Frances at the front door, with ice cold mint tea and home made brownies. The house is a lovely old 19th century farmhouse ,which has been restored tastefully . It's about 2 miles out of town ,but that isn't a problem as Frances will happily run you to Confluence to have an evening meal, and call back for... More

This B&B was excellent and voted by the family as best on the trip! We did a six day bike trip along the GAP. The Hannah House was easy to get to from the Harnedsville trailhead. Francis, our hostess, also offers rides into Confluence. She drove us where we wanted to go an picked us up when we called. She... More

Stayed at Hanna House for one night while visiting Fallingwater. Beautiful and charming old farm house with pretty scenery all around. Frances welcomed us with delicious brownies and ice tea. Hard working lady with a very interesting and beautiful story. Enjoyed sitting in the front porch and watching the sunset and fireflies later at night. Highly recommend this B&B!

Stopped for a night on a bike trip from DC to Pgh. Definitely an outstanding place in the array of B&Bs we stayed. Peaceful and charming farm house setting, but above all, the host, Frances, made our stay really memorable. Very friendly and sympathetic to cyclist's needs on a long trip. Especially comes breakfast time - simple, tasty and plentiful... More

Frances is a wonderful hostess. We had a group of 14 people cycling the GAP from Washington, DC and everyone voted the Hanna House was their favorite place to stay and visit. It is close to the trail and you'll feel right at home when you arrive. The breakfast that Frances served was excellent too! We would definitely plan on... More

Felt like a home away from home, with Frances, our wonderful hostess and the comfortable accommodations. Family friendly and tons of country charm. Breakfast was delicious and well prepared, home made and served buffet style for our large group. Each room was decorated to fit the style of the 1840's built house. This should become a regular retreat!
