We were welcomed by Frances at the front door, with ice cold mint tea and home made brownies. The house is a lovely old 19th century farmhouse ,which has been restored tastefully . It's about 2 miles out of town ,but that isn't a problem as Frances will happily run you to Confluence to have an evening meal, and call back for... More

This B&B was excellent and voted by the family as best on the trip! We did a six day bike trip along the GAP. The Hannah House was easy to get to from the Harnedsville trailhead. Francis, our hostess, also offers rides into Confluence. She drove us where we wanted to go an picked us up when we called. She... More

Stayed at Hanna House for one night while visiting Fallingwater. Beautiful and charming old farm house with pretty scenery all around. Frances welcomed us with delicious brownies and ice tea. Hard working lady with a very interesting and beautiful story. Enjoyed sitting in the front porch and watching the sunset and fireflies later at night. Highly recommend this B&B!

Stopped for a night on a bike trip from DC to Pgh. Definitely an outstanding place in the array of B&Bs we stayed. Peaceful and charming farm house setting, but above all, the host, Frances, made our stay really memorable. Very friendly and sympathetic to cyclist's needs on a long trip. Especially comes breakfast time - simple, tasty and plentiful... More

Frances is a wonderful hostess. We had a group of 14 people cycling the GAP from Washington, DC and everyone voted the Hanna House was their favorite place to stay and visit. It is close to the trail and you'll feel right at home when you arrive. The breakfast that Frances served was excellent too! We would definitely plan on... More

Felt like a home away from home, with Frances, our wonderful hostess and the comfortable accommodations. Family friendly and tons of country charm. Breakfast was delicious and well prepared, home made and served buffet style for our large group. Each room was decorated to fit the style of the 1840's built house. This should become a regular retreat!

My adult daughter and I spent the weekend at Hanna House while touring the FLW homes and Fort Necessity. I had stayed here previously and knew it would be the perfect place for us. Frances is a welcoming hostess and makes one feel right at home. The breakfasts are simple and simply delicious! We had a large, comfortable downstairs room... More

Romantic, simple, beautiful area. Our host Francis was delightful and warm. The place is clean, old, style, and incredibly relaxing. Great muffins, good fruit for breakfast, and brownies always available.

I stayed in an upstairs room with a shared bath, which was spacious and just across the hall. I found it comfortable. Frances welcomed us with cake and iced tea, and my wife and I enjoyed reading and bird watching by the pond, as well as playing a round of badminton on the court behind the house. Plenty of birds... A fantastic way to experience the romantic flavor of the past without any of the hardships. I loved staying here! It is a little bit out-of-town, but our hostess was ever-ready to taxi us to and from dinner. The rooms are beautifully, appropriately decorated and the beds extremely comfortable-firm. We stayed in the newest room (a former parlor), and got... More
