We had a great stay at The Hanna House in mid September. We were riding the GAP trail and it is located a short distance (about 1/4mile) off the trail just east of the town of Confluence. Our host kindly offered to shuttle us to and from dinner and provided a wonderful breakfast. It is wonderful home in a beautiful... More

Located about 2 miles out of town but worth the trip. Coming from Pittsburgh it is 2 miles past Confluence. Frances is a gracious hostess who will gladly take you to and from town for dinner. Breakfast was excellent served at a long dining table which encouraged conversation with other guests.

Quiet stop off the Great Allegheny Passage. Frances is a great cook and welcoming host. As we arrived, she offered delicious home made chocolate chip cookies and brownies. She was willing to shuttle our group of six cyclists to dinner into town (Confluence) and pick us up afterward. Each room was very quaint and the home is lovely, though rustic.... More

Although we arrived late, we experienced a warm welcome and got nice tips for our diner. It's a charming old house on a farm yard. The room was comfortable and had a nice view. Breakfast was very tasty. It's a good starting point for trips in the Laurel Highlands. We hope to come back here.

Well beyond outstanding. I've never stayed in a B&B where I felt so welcome. Great accommodation, extremely welcoming host & terrific breakfast. I would go out of my way to stay here again. As an added bonus there was storage for bikes & free shuttle service into town.

Would recommend for anyone cycling the GAP. No air conditioning, but ceiling fans and good ventilation made this a non issue. Large property that we were free to roam. Very easy access from the trail, and the owner drove us into town for dinner. I spent significant time on a porch swing watching butterflies in the lovely flower garden.

My husband and our two daughters (21 and 23) had such a wonderful time staying at Hanna House this week during our "Bike the GAP." Frances was such a gracious hostess...greeting us with sun tea and brownies...driving us to a nearby restaurant (such a treat after biking 30+ miles) for dinner....and then a fabulous breakfast in the morning. Her historic... More

We had a great stay with Francis at her historic home. We spent time on both her great front porch and back yard. Hard to believe the farmer can make much money with all of the deer in the field at night. After a day of biking we were appreciative of the ride Francis gave us to and from dinner.... More

We are a family of 4 and we got 2 rooms on the 1st floor, each room with a double bed. Bedrooms are spacious with plenty of space for our luggage. Bathroom is shared and it's also very large. Rooms have ceiling fans (no A/C) but temp was comfortable. Breakfast was made to order and it was delicious: eggs, bread,... More

We were welcomed by Frances at the front door, with ice cold mint tea and home made brownies. The house is a lovely old 19th century farmhouse ,which has been restored tastefully . It's about 2 miles out of town ,but that isn't a problem as Frances will happily run you to Confluence to have an evening meal, and call back for... More
