very convenient for tourists who love the view of the sea and want to find peace of mind. Room conditions remains intact even looks a bit old. Structures and sculptures whole resort still retains the old Malay house concept. Employees here are very friendly and helpful whenever we have any questions. It is a luxury resort and can be categorized...

Me and my friend booked 4 nights at this hotel to relax a few days at the beautiful eastcoast of Malaysia. At first I have to say this Hotel is really out of the way. There is almost nothing around, only a petrol station at a main street 15 minutes away. The Resort itself is actually very beautiful, nice garden,...

I have just returned from a 10 day stay with my husband at the Aryani and had a much needed relaxing break. The management and staff were friendly and helpful regardless of the lack of facilities the hotel once had. The hotel uses the same taxi driver and when he took us to the boat for a days snorkelling on...

Where to start? A hotel right out of a horror movie: As others have mentioned over the years (!!), this place represents an abandoned property charging out-of-this-world prices in return for (almost) nothing! We stayed for one night due to the lack of better options in the area and before jetting over to the island of Lang Tengah the next...

I am not sure where to begin. Let me begin by saying the actual staff at the Aryani are more than amazing. They tried - they really did but there is not much that can be done to a ruin waiting to collapse. The reason the Aryani is still in business is because the options are limited in this remote...

As the taxi was approaching the hotel area... we thought it had got the wrong direction..the route was lonely, wild with overgrowths...seemingly like we were passing a cemetry with tombs like designs on d paremeters.. n then we saw an abandoned like building which would be our stay for the next 4 days booked n paid online due to misleading advert...

This place looked like it would once have been really nice. The chalets, as others say are quite well designed and are really spacious. It really is a shame that it seems to have been left to the elements. Ignore the management claims that this place is supposed to look 'rustic' - it is more akin to finding an abandoned...

The facilities show some fantastic ideas (such as private outdoor bathtub for each bungalow) and the resort must have been beautiful once. When we were there in June '14 however, it seemed a bit rundown - very old and broken beach chairs, deserted beach bar, loads of ants inside the bungalow, a lot of dishes and drinks from the restaurant...

After travelling from the UK on long flights arriving at this hotel was everything we hoped for... Beautiful and very Quiet. Not a huge tourist flooded hotel but a small secluded nice resort surrounded by wildife. As we read already the site is slightly dated but this adds to the charm of this place. The rooms are exceptionally good! Huge...

On the way there we thought we got lost driving through the narrow village roads but soon found out that the location was quite secluded – away from the mainroad and hustle and bustle of the city which was great. We were welcomed warmly by the young and friendly receptionist and was served with cold refreshing welcome drinks and hot...

“We took Chalet #13 as advised in one of the reviews and we were not disappointed. Chalet #13 faced the beach. The chalets facing the pool were also good. One of the riders and his wife stayed in the "main house" which was reputed to be 150 years old. They said it creaked a lot but provided for a unique experience. There was a modern block of 5-6 rooms. No one in our entourage complained about any of the accommodations as far as sleep quality was concerned.”
