Awesome Bed and Breakfast. Owners are great people who love what they do! Always super clean and very quiet! Already booked 2 weekends for 2020! Love the late night snacks that are left out in the kitchen for the guests.
Our stay was not as expected, first off our tv didn’t work, no big deal until the owner came up to fix and was rude to his wife in front of us( she was nice) and he was also intoxicated. When we came back from our concert and got to our room someone had been in without our knowledge and turned off our tv. That is how I know, and our room was full of bugs on ceiling and walls. Then when our breakfast came out in the morning from the “ certified chef” it was plain scrambled eggs, toast, and 2 sausage links. Very disappointing for a bed and breakfast. Will not stay again nor recommend it. We went out for breakfast!
We stayed after an evening Penn State game. Property was easy to locate and only 8 miles from State College. Bob allowed us to fetch our key in the morning so we did not have to "check in" during tailgate time. House is beautiful, spotless and comfortable and breakfast was delicious! Thank you Bob and Amy for a wonderful stay.
We returned for a very short visit with our son before he moved into Penn State. It is a great, welcoming place to stay and we look forward to returning for his graduation later this year. If you want a break from the hectic University setting but still be only a few minutes away, this is the place for you.
This is a beautiful manor home and property in a picturesque setting. Everyone was very friendly, and the food was awesome. We have already recommended it to friends and family, and we are planning to visit again very soon.
