From the time we arrived at the B & B the hosts, the room and the facilities were first class. Our children had been there before with their horses and dogs, and they highly recommended it. We agreed. The breakfast was sumptuous, the buildings and farm immaculate and we couldn't have asked for a more comfortable bed in the separate...

One of the many high points of being Innkeepers is when we reconnect with 'return guests'... and another is when they return with family! It was so nice to have you all stay with us, and we are happy you and your wife found The Cottage to be just right for you. Thank you for your gracious review, and it...

I stayed over two days and two nights in early June of 2016, and very much enjoyed the more serene, out-of-town (meaning some distance from the several major highways, and downtown Carlisle) setting and the Stauffers very attentive, relaxed hospitality. Breakfasts were superb--flavorful and hearty, with fresh ingredients including in-season strawberries from a farm just down the road. In addition,...

We stayed at Pheasant Field B & B while visiting the Carlisle Ford Show this past weekend. While attending this event in the past, we had always stayed in Carlisle. We liked Pheasant Field better because of the country living ambience while still being only 4 miles and 10 minutes from the town, restaurants, and the car show. Our room...

Everything about this B&B was amazing! The home is simply beautiful! The hosts (Robin and Kit) were incredibly charming and very informative. We were given a tour of this historic home and surrounding property (accompanied by such a sweet lab). WOW! Do NOT pass on the chance to learn it's history. You will not be disappointed! Our room was perfect!...

A beautiful home in a bucolic setting, hosted by a a charming couple and their sweet, gentle Labrador. We stayed in the large, cozy, cottage, separate from the main building and dog-friendly (for our own Lab). Breakfast was generous and tasty, served in the quaint main building. We highly recommend it and look forward to visiting again.

We visited for a weekend for our wedding anniversary and had a lovely, relaxing weekend. It felt like longer then the weekend and the gourmet breakfasts were such a treat - we generally do not eat breakfast but definitely did not want to miss these! The innkeepers are just wonderful and most accommodating on their idyllic property, which contains horses,...

We were in the area for our son's graduation from college and only had a very short one night stay. This B&B is beautiful and we wished we had more time to enjoy visiting with the lovely owners, and exploring the area. If we return to the area, we certainly would love to stay here again!

The proprietors are excellent and so hospitable, giving us a tour of the barn and farmhouse. The house included a sub-basement used as part of the under-ground railroad. Breakfast was excellent and included freshly made quiche, buttermilk pancakes, and sausage.

The owners were so super friendly and welcoming -- we loved it. The water went out because of an odd circumstance, but they worked it get it fixed ASAP and kept us in the loop. Our room was top-notch -- huge bathroom with a jacuzzi. Really great breakfast in the morning. Beautiful scenery.
