My wife and I have stayed at PFB&B twice now, the first time as the destination of our middle daughter's wedding and the second time to celebrate my 50th birthday. Everything about both visits was absolutely wonderful! The rooms are top drawer! More than just comfortable,

I don't know if the B & B is a lunch-only type of venue; did you contact them? If they're not amenable, try the tearoom right in Carlisle, Camellia's Sin. Wonderful food, atmosphere, and service, not to mention a dangerous (for spending money!) gift shop. I reviewed the tearoom on Trip Advisor, so you can see what I wrote. Good luck!
