This is just an updated information for those who are thinking to get a room in Carlisle, PA., for an event like car show. Well, this hotel pretty much no longer exists. I know it, because I happened to have a chance to read local paper and found out what's going on. Don't be fooled by some reservation website, like...

Ok, first off, I wouldn't give this place one star but I had no choice. It's horrible. Old, run down, nothing works, bed is harder than the floor, toilet doesn't flush, staff is rude, complains to customers about their management, restaurant is a joke, it's basically a slow crappy serviced bar with cold overpriced food. Pool tables didn't work right,...

The organization to which I belong held it's annual meeting and banquet at this location this evening. It was the 1st and last time we will be there though it will haunt my dreams for years. 1) the check-in person had to get the bar tender to guide us to our assigned banquet room because she didn't know where it...

We arrived at at the hotel Carlisle to a beautiful lobby. We were able to check in early but the outbuilding that our room was located in was poorly lit and had dark stains and drag marks on the carpet. My room had no heat and I found food in the dresser drawers . I called and complained about the...

Our first warning was when the desk clerk handed us our key and said "I hope it works". Great. We ate at the bar/restaurant on property and my meal was delivered 20 minutes after the rest of our party and it was wrong. No one offered to deduct the meal cost, nor did we ask. We couldn't wait to leave...

This was the worst hotel I have stayed in perhaps in three decades. There was a smell of mold everywhere, stains on the carpet in the hall, stains in the ceiling tiles. Paint chipping throughout the building. Key cards troublesome, with a cheesy ad for a local pizza chain printed on it. All in all, wondering how the city has...

I just checked in and have already gotten the full Hotel Carlisle experience. The "damp basement smell" carries from the lobby through the halls and into the room. What a shocker - they still have not resolved their key card issues. Entry and reentry into my room is provided by the facilities person. The tired, vintage 70's décor is only...

Hasn't been updated since the 70's by the look of decor. No coffee on premises other than nasty little dusty in room coffee maker and desk clerk rude when asked if they had coffee available. Very bad for a $100 plus a night room. No TV guide, soap was terrible and towels paper thin.
