Every time we visit Glendorn, we truly feel like it is a restful, rejuvenating escape. Whether hiking through the many trails, partaking in various outdoor sports, having treatments in the spa, sitting out by the fire pit in the evenings after dinner (with a beer assortment and s'mores to boot!)--no detail is left unfinished. This past visit, we had the opportunity to meet the owners, Cliff and Tracy Forrest. They could not have been more generous with their time, welcoming, or kind. The Big House has been restored to a bygone hunting lodge era circa the 1930's. Each room, from the Billiard Room to the Main Hall is warm and inviting. The art collection dispersed throughout the property is thoughtfully displayed and beautiful. Each cabin/room/suite is exceptionally appointed down to the last detail. The executive chef and kitchen team create one of a kind, mouth-watering meals (even during COVID!) that are delicious and memorable. The staff from the front office to the guides could not be more knowledgeable or nice! During a global pandemic, this was the perfect retreat to get away for several days. The Lodge has worked hard and adapted well to provide guests with a safe environment. We always have a great time and absolutely love visiting here.

Wanted a social distanced getaway for Thanksgiving and The Lodge at Glendorn was perfect. Our cabin was spacious, well appointed and comfy (think upscale vintage). The food and service were great particularly the traditional Thanksgiving meal served family style to each group & turkey sandwiches in our frig for an evening snack. Lots of activities and look forward to returning to enjoy them in a non-Covid world. Most importantly we felt safe, pampered, and relaxed

I have to wonder if in 1929 Clayton Glenville Dorn could have envisioned that nearly a century later his creation would still be a place that attained perfection, tranquility, unbounded enjoyment and the ability to transcend time and space. The GlenDorn takes its guests to a land once upon a time that is an escape with luxury and accents of a time long ago.

We traveled over the weekend for a COVID friendly getaway with our 2 children; 6 and 8 years of age. In advance, I had contacted the Lodge to arrange a few special meal requests for a birthday dinner. This request was met and exceeded my expectation! The head chef Jonathan was not only an amazing chef but an amazing ambassador for their Lodge. He gave my children a tour of the kitchen, sent extra bags of cookies to our cabin and met every request that might have been "outside" the menu as it read. His efforts made a huge impact on our stay!! In addition, Shane gave us a Jeep tour which was informative, fun and he made it really kid friendly. The grounds are amazing, the food is exceptional, the service is top notch and the experience is really fabulous. We will be back for sure. Thanks for making our weekend special!
