Did not stay over, but came to this place for a wedding. The parking was strange, but not too bad. Thankfully it wasn't rainy or it would have been extremely muddy. The venue was beautiful and fit my friends perfectly for their wedding. Would recommend as a place to use.

Thank you for your kind review, Michele! Luckily we actually don't get muddy at all. A little known secret-- because the Pump House (originally an oil pumping station in the early 1900s) used coal to create steam to run the pumps much of the properly has coal cinders throughout the ground with only about a 1/2 inch of topsoil. My wife, son, and I recently stayed at the Pump House B&B as part of a wedding party. It was a wonderful experience. The outdoor venue was beautiful for the wedding and the recent renovations of pretty much the entire property are excellent. The owner (Doug) was very friendly and accommodating and he put on an amazing breakfast. Check out... More

We stayed at the Pump House following a wedding held there. Our room was on the second floor and was a spacious queen bed room. It had its own climate control, desk, micro and frig plus a private bath with a large shower. The other room on that floor had a sitting room as well. Our only issue was the... More

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay! The Purple Room is one of our favorites as well. We apologize about the water pressure but thank for letting us know so we can do our best to fix that in the future. We hope to see you back at the Pump House soon! Thanks again, The Pump House Staff More

The proprietors and the staff just go out of the way to accommodate your every whim. We were looking for an escape from the work a day world and we found it here. From the cats roaming freely here to the hiking and rafting. It was amazing. Oh and did I mention the breakfast that was made for us each... More

We found this bed and breakfast last minute on our way home from SC to CT. It was a long ride off the highway I-81 and our GOS took us through back roads, corn fields and woods. When we finally arrived in what felt like the middle of no where, there was a huge party at the venue. It was... More

My sister had her wedding here and I can only describe the place as idyllic. The grounds are large and beautiful. Her ceremony was held down a dirt path, away from the main bed and breakfast/reception area. It was a lovely spot, with the stream in the background, surrounded by trees and rhododendron bushes. The reception was held in a... More

We had our wedding here and it was great. Suites for us were included in the package. Our family rented rooms at the b and b and had an equally great experience. We had both the ceremony and reception there. There are lots of options even if the weather doesn't cooperate.

Quiet historic establishment. Great for a get away or a wedding. Breakfast was delicious. Home made by the owner with great care. A creek borders the property making for beautiful views let alone the mountains that surround.
