I rented a two bedroom 1.5 bath condo at snow ridge village through travel advantage network (TAN). The location is awesome! Minutes from Jack Frost mountain’s skiing and snow tubing; you could probably walk there if you wanted to. It is also within 30 minutes from Jim Thorpe, big boulder, the crossings outlet stores, and multiple state parks. My following complaints are with TAN and their property management of this particular condo. I had trouble keying into the property with the code provided; I had to call customer service for them to reset the code. The steps leading into the condo were weak and wobbly, definitely need to be fixed or replaced. The fireplace apparently failed inspection in January, it’s now September. The entire condo smelled musty; I had to open the windows and air it out. The carpet of the living room floor was filthy; covered in stains. There were stains on the furniture. The upstairs bathroom faucet fell off and left water running when I turned the handle to brush my teeth. The bathtub drain was clogged; I would stand in inches of water as I showered. The bedroom window couldn’t be opened because the handle was broke. However, when I called TAN to report these issues after I checked out, the customer service representative was nice, helpful, and told me she would contact the property manager. …
It was very crowded but still nice to ski, recommendable to go with beginners and small kids. I would recommend to have better and healthier options for meal. You can sky at night that’s awesome. Will return next holidays
Old condo with poor lighting. Our condo had a leak inside the front door. There was to be a guard in the area, but he was only there from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and I'm not sure if he was there every day.
Really liked the area and the resort complex overall but our unit left a lot to be desired. It was pretty basic, no a/c (didn't need it and knew in advance so no biggie since weather cool), had a deck next to pond but it and furniture were covered in bird droppings and we're absolutely horrid...made use of entire deck impossible...could not believe Travel Advantage Network cleaning crew made no effort to clean. Upstairs light in master closet did not work, we replaced the bulb and still did not work...socket/wiring very loose...kinda scary thinking may be electrical issues. Overall not the cleanest condo we've ever stayed in...loved the area and attractions...did not love the unit. The Condo complex itself was nice overall though. Security guard at guard house entering very friendly and helpful.…
We enjoyed our time there; especially sitting on the patio and listening to the water fall and the frogs. We were disappointed with the creaking floors on the second floor. We though kitchen towels and hot pads should have been provided.
Beautiful vacation. Loved the scenery, the changing of the leaves. Very quiet and relaxing. A definite. Will be back again. Walking trails throughout the village. Nice place to take the family or couples.
A relaxing week is what we needed and what we got. Clean unit, lots of space, well lit. We felt very much at home in our two-bedroom, two-bathroom town house. I see some reviews saying the beds are not comfortable but we disagreed. They are firm - it's a matter of opinion that's all. Activities outside of Jack Frost were only about 20-45 minutes but one could have the same when home and wanting to do some fun activities so it wasn't a problem. We used Travel Advantage Network to book our vacation and they took great care of us.
Nice cozy place, but uncomfortable beds and ice snow mounds in front of entrance. We weren't able to use the fireplace either due to needing repairs. We really enjoyed snow tubing at Jack Frost Mountain ski resort.
had and awesome week. so quiet and relaxing. nice deck and fireplace. full kitchen was very nice. but the bed was so uncomfortable. it creaked every time you moved on it and it was very hard. after a long day of snowboarding terrible to sleep on, lost a lot of sleep an had to keep turning and tossing. besides the bed it was very nice and awesome being in walking distance from jack frost. There was also a few minor thing that needed repair in our room from prior guests but no big deal. i would go back to the resort and recommend it to others just bring a air mattress or topper.
We stayed over the holiday weekend. I rented it from a private owner on vrbo.com. The house was two bedrooms/2 baths and very cozy. Next to Jack Frost ski lodge. We went to the lodge for tubing, and wasn't that crowded. It took forever to pay at the window. The location of the house is far away from any major restaurants. There was a few fast food places about 15 mins back off the main road. I had a hard putting the address in my goal for some reason. I used the written directions the owner gave me. The snowed during the weekend. I saw some kids playing outside in it. Each house has a backyard area.
