Visiting during the different seasons we have utilized both the indoor pools, hot tub and the out door pool. The family type food served in the restaurant is very reasonably priced and excellent to the taste. Within a few minutes you can be in the city type retail stores or the more homie atmosphere of the Pennsylvania Dutch community. The complimentary two hour tour is a great way to see the country side. The bakery across the street and restaurant next door provides food that is delicious and very reasonably priced. Bring your bathing suits even in winter. The children - and adults - all enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Stay here! this was the last majour stop on our 13 day trip to Nashville, Pigeon Forge and Lancaster and we were def not disappointed. This stop was handled with complete professionalism including helping us secure Dight & Sound tickets when they were "sold out". Rooms were very comfortable, food was great and staff were very friendly and competent. We will def be there again.

My family and I had such a great time at Bird in Hand family Inn on our trip to Lancaster area. Next time I would like to stay 2 nights. The hotel was very clean, I love how much is included w the stay: corn maze, 3 pools, jacuzzi, complementary tour of farm lands. We have stayed here in the past and always had a very enjoyable stay. Only down side for us is that they do not accept pets at this location. They did recommend one of their other properties did allow pets but unfortunately they were booked for our time we were staying.

Clean, convenient locatin and comfortable. Especially liked chairs outside the room to sit and enjoy the evening or morning coffee. A great place for a family with the extras for kids. Playground, miniature golf and pools.

Have stayed many times with this property. Always stellar personal service. Room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The associated restaurant has a great breakfast buffet. We were in town for the Lancaster Balloon Festival which this year was not so good due to high winds however this location can't be beat for the view.

You can't beat the service at this Inn. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and full of suggestions to make your stay wonderful. There's also SO much for kids--put put, petting zoo, pools, etc. There's a lot to offer in the surrounding area too.

Worst trip to Lancaster! Stayed at Bird in Hand Family Inn many times! This time was not good. Outdated and dirty room, bug spray, dehumidifier running. The 1980s was calling! I hope it gets back to what we remember.

From the room to the restaurant as well as the staff, couldn't have been any better. The Tour was absolutely wonderful and informative along with stopping at shops that offered many things we would not have available in our area. The tour also gave us the opportunity to meet other folks. This trip was quite short so I feel as though we didn't have the opportunity to see all that we could have. The next one will be much longer. Great job to anyone involved in anything we did during our time there.
