Went to The Bell Inn 2nd December 2016 to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary and we were not disappointed. My Wife had Pan Fried Chicken which she said was gorgeous and I had what I always have, Beef Wellington. We both had veg and potatoes. The Food was simply stunning, cooked to perfection and piping hot. Service from Henry was... More

I have just had my birthday lunch at The Bell and Henry and the staff were superb. They were friendly, helpful and funny making the party so enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and believe me we were noisy and high spirited, sixteen of us in all. The food was excellent and the service swift and well organised.... More

We enjoyed an overnight stay when visiting the local Langton Brewery for an evening tour. Room was clean and very comfortable, pub staff and locals very friendly. Breakfast also spot on. We didn't use the restaurant as we had a ploughman a at the brewery, but it had been highly recommended to us. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We had a meal here yesterday lunchtime...I had the steak pie and hubby the sea bass..food hot, tasty and very good service. It's set in a lovely village right next to a cricket pitch...a-typical English scene. It has a lovely garden with plenty of outdoor and indoor tables and good wine choice. Not sure it had a kids menu... But... More

The ambience of a real Heart-of-England pub with a real English landlord, locally brewed beer and decent food. A bit 'home counties' with a prosperous local crowd who all knew one another. Three of us were there for Friday lunch and two had the salad of the day, prawn and avocado, which was fresh and plentiful, but could have done... More

A friend & I love eating out at the restaurants in 'the Langton's' whenever we catch up over a meal as it's between Mkt Harborough & Leicester, our 'half way' marker. This time it was The Bell Inn. It being a few years since we last ate there. It was very busy with people at the bar chatting & a... More

We stayed for B&B and were soaked through on arrival. The staff brought us a pot of tea and tumble dried our wet clothes. The breakfast was fantastic and when I managed to leave my fleece behind the owner texted me and offered to post it. Very kind and friendly people even through they were really busy

I booked both the rooms here for family (5 people) staying 5 nights, who were attending a family party at Foxton Locks on Sat 10th sept. The accommodation was lovely and the breakfasts huge-made to the guests' own requirements, after talking to the chef. On the Friday night we had a fantastic meal for 13 family and friends in a room... More

We visited this lovely pub/restaurant a few weeks ago having been there before on numerous occasions. We ate there two nights running and again we were not disappointed - the food was delicious, locally sourced and cooked exactly as ordered. Henry was in his usual good witty form making both evenings most enjoyable. A fantastic pub in beautiful location. Hope... More

A friend and I had been looking for somewhere for lunch and took a wrong turning ending up at the Bell. It was a lovely day, and fairly busy, with a lot of people sitting out on the front of the pub. We chose to sit inside, which was roomy & welcoming with tables far enough apart that you didn't... More
