Detailed Reviews
Excellent hospitality by hosts Ann and Tom. Welcomed with a note and a blueberry moon pie.
The home was very clean, and cozy. The kitchen updated and comfortable with a counter top/ seating area.
Two bedrooms on the 2nd floor both with queen size beds. Two small pullouts on the first floor. A bathroom located on the first floor and a second bathroom on the 2nd floor.
Everything you needed was well stocked and by the cleanliness the hosts were very mindful of covid19. Felt very safe.
If I were to visit this area again I would definitely stay here.
Thanks Ann and Tom.

Clean, roomy, stocked with stuff, great linens, really lovely kitchen with modern appliances. WiFi was strong and consistent enough for me to work on email and zoom simultaneously.
The place i had - the brown cottage is really great for two couples or a family of 4. And breathless views!

The Hill Store Guest Cottage and Events is the perfect place to stay in the quiet Belleville area. It was a treat to find such an amazing preservation of history in a lovely accommodation that merges the old and new. The loft was well laid out and beautifully furnished including original artwork, handmade items and bits of history that were preserved during the renovations. It was well appointed with everything you might need including linens, plenty of lighting, walk in showers with safety bars, and much more. We loved hearing the clip-itty clop of Amish buggies passing by as we enjoyed our breakfast in the handy kitchenette. Ann and Tom are charming hosts and we enjoyed visiting with them in the beautiful well groomed grounds. We definitely plan to stay here again and look forward to exploring the 3 unique accommodation options offered here!

This place was fabulous! Tom and Ann were beyond gracious hosts..and their accommodations were suburb, from the moon pies that were waiting for us when we arrived to the cleanest (honestly the truth) place I have ever stayed. My friends and I enjoyed our experience so much at the Hill Store Guest Cottage that we booked an entire week in October!

We were in town for a wedding and Hill Store was recommended to us for our overnight stay. Couldn’t have made a better decision. We stayed in the loft and it was so charming and cute - my kind of place. Our only regret is we couldn’t stay longer. Ann and Tom were wonderful hosts that make you feel like you have known them forever. The moon pies were a special treat as well. Lovely hosts and lovely accommodations! Thank you Ann and Tom. Maybe we’ll see you again during football season. We are…

Tom and Ann provided us with absolutely charming accommodations, and generous hospitality. My girlfriends and I stayed in the Guest Cottage, which was spotless and very comfortable. They are wonderful hosts with an obvious passion for the beauty that is Big Valley. We left feeling like we had made wonderful new friends. We’ve already booked a week in the Fall!

What a charming cozy, well-appointed venue! We stayed in The Loft which had plenty of room to visit with family during out stay. The innkeepers were so gracious, and the grounds were beautiful. You gotta' love hearing the occasional clip-clop of Amish buggies passing by. We had a wonderful stay!

Very quaint cottage with a beautiful location. Everything was perfect. So much better than staying at a hotel. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy towns and still be close enough to see the beautiful sights of this valley, book your stay today. I don't think you will be disappointed.

re-routed our trip home from canada to stay in this beautiful valley of pa...enjoyed meeting our host's despite arriving a couple hours later than planned...we stayed in the greenwood house and the location was perfect!...we all slept comfortably and the house was big enough to spread out and relax...we were here for the amish folks and to admire the farmland...the yellow, white and brown toppers are quite a sight!...this area is much less commercial than amish communities in ohio and lancaster, pa...we enjoyed our stay @ the greenwood house and admiring the hard work and dedication to farming in the big valley!...
