The Reynolds Mansion is a beautiful historic mansion listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, located in Bellefonte, PA, which is minutes from Penn State University. A great alternative to State College hotels. It's original woodwork and breathtaking architectural detail add to the ambiance created by the owners, Mike and Tricia. Each of the eight spacious guest rooms have private baths. Additionally, many have gas fireplaces and Jacuzzi tubs. Breakfast is typically three-course gourmet, but, heart-healthy, gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian can be arranged. Complimentary water bottles, coffee/tea, WiFi, and brandy and Hershey Kisses are offered to all guests.

This was our second visit to the mansion and I know why we keep returning. The setting is perfect! Nestled in a small town right outside of Penn State University. The rooms are incredible! One is more beautiful then the other. We stayed in the Trophy Room both visits. It’s spacious, with a cute little porch, fireplace and a separate entrance. I’m not sure what type of sheets are used but it’s like sleeping on a cloud. I did get a chance to sneak a peak of other rooms and no matter which one you pick you won’t be disappointed.Another plus for me is they have a massage therapist right on the property. She (Lisa) meets you at your room, the services are top notch and afterwards all you need to do is walk a few steps back to your room. Staying here is a relaxing escape,Mike and Trish are the perfect hosts and go above and beyond to make your stay nothing short of “PERFECT “. Lastly, each morning a 3 course bread is served, yum!!! I’m certain we will be back , they’ve added 2 suites , I would love to give one a try!! 🤗As a side note, there’s a cute distillery within walking distance and several restaurants around the corner. If you are looking for a relaxing couples escape, check this out!!!

Back again to our favorite B&B, this time for our wedding anniversary. We stayed in one of their new suites, and it is beautiful. The (2) new suites are in a separate building on the property, in what was once the Carriage House. They are completely new and beautiful. Decorated in a modern Industrial style with an open ceiling and exposed HVAC duct. Large 55" TV's in each room, along with a electric/LED fireplace and super large Whirlpool tub in the living room. Modern bathroom with a two person tiled shower (with rain head) and lighted wall mirror Private parking spot adds to the special Suite amenities. A Delicious breakfast is served in Suite each morning. As always, the Innkeepers Trish and Mike are super friendly and always working to make your stay special.

Thank you so much! We are thrilled that you loved the new suite in the carriage house. As always, it was a pleasure to have you and we can't wait until December even if we don't have Victorian Christmas, we'll still have a great weekend seeing you.

The Reynolds Mansion was exquisite. Loved hearing about the history from Tricia. Beautiful old mansion. The breakfast was three course and was wonderful. Location to downtown was great. Thanks Tricia and Mike for a great stay.

We have been coming to the Mansion since 2015 when our son started at PSU. He graduated last year but we are thrilled our other son is at Penn State as well so we get to continue to visit with Mike and Trish at least for a few more years! Mike and Trish are the ultimate hosts taking great pride in every detail. The beautiful mansion itself, the lovely and comfortable rooms, and the gourmet breakfast that should not be missed! The Bellefonte and State College areas also have so much to offer so it is a lovely spot to spend a weekend while visiting a student or just escaping for a relaxing, quiet get away! Enjoy!

After a grueling move-in for our Penn State senior the Reynolds Mansion saved the weekend! Bellefonte, PA is a treasure nestled in the hills and far from the insanity of a college town. Mike was so understanding of our 3 hour delay in checking in and welcomed us with a tour of this beautiful home and even Hershey kisses! Our room was "New York" with all of the "touristy things" that you would expect but with a comfy queen bed and silky smooth linens. The clawfoot tub had a shower with water pressure that was just what this tired body needed! Breakfast was so delicious! A quiche with fresh mushrooms, cheese, spinach (I think) and a very generous portion. Fresh juices, coffee, tea and a cinnamon coffee cake to top it off. So nice for someone to take care of us!! My only regret is that we moved in our senior, so no opportunity to visit this magnificent home another time. But we just might have to make a special trip to experience one of the other beautiful rooms!!
