This is a gorgeous victorian home, in a neighborhood full of gorgeous victorian homes. The maids quarters, with a separate entrance, are large enough to live in. Breakfast choices are amazing, and you have a full kitchen to work with for other meals. Bellefonte is a lovely town nestled in the PA hills, with several large creeks draining into a large stream that runs through the center of town. The town has done a great job creating parks and riverwalks by the stream, preserving the downtown, which is almost entirely intact with 19th century elegance, and the walks through the neighborhoods are a joy.

This was our third time staying here and as usual, it was wonderful as it had been previously. The room was cozy with a comfortable bed, a nice sized bed and en suite bathroom completed the room. Nice sitting area in the room as well. Breakfast was delicious and filling and the home is decorated beautifully. There is an outside covered front porch with a swing and nice seating area. If you stay in Bellefonte, make sure you spend some time at The Queen!

This delightful B and B transports you to a time of true hospitality. I was treated like an honored guest. Nancy and her family care about you and want you to feel comfortable. They were very accommodating for very late night arrival. There is a plethora of historic ‘tchotchkis’ from the Victorian age. The room is comfy and spacious. If you’re looking for a fresh alternative to the chain hotels, this is the place

Extremely distraught after booking accommodations for 6 for graduation weekend. We booked the cottage at Queen, a Victorian B&B January 2022 then re-confirmed Oct 2022, while we were there attending Ohio state game. Then we get a call last week that the place was double booked. We’re now left to scramble for accommodations for 6 for my daughter’s graduation in May. We trusted Nancy, the owner and are shocked and hurt that she would treat repeat customers this way.

Went up for a football weekend with my wife, son and puppy. Plenty of space, cozy fireplace in the suite (Governor's Suite), delicious breakfast (my son raved about the french toast), and super friendly innkeeper. We were able to leave the pup (and let her roam the insides while we were there) while we went to the game. Will absolutely do this again another football weekend.

We recently stopped in at the queen on route to Philadelphia and to see the beautiful Victorian houses in Bellefonte. Our room was absolutely perfect and anticipated any possible thing we might need… We also had our small dog staying with us and Nancy was so kind to our pooch. Breakfast was delicious and we only regret not being able to spend a little more time enjoying the beautiful house!

We stayed while traveling for a wedding and it was the cutest inn with the nicest staff! It was in an adorable neighborhood and decorated wonderfully. We couldn’t stay for breakfast due to having other travel plans and they were so nice to provide a grab and go breakfast. Will definitely be staying again if traveling through the area again!

We celebrated our anniversary by staying at the Queen In Bellefonte,PA we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nancy was a wonderful host full of great stories to tell. We could sit there and listen to her stories for hours, she was a very interesting and fun lady full of energy. The history shown throughout the house was so interesting and all her decorations were so interesting. Our breakfast was delicious and very well done. We highly recommend visiting here, we will definitely return to listen to more stories and enjoy the coziness of the room.

We had a wonderful time staying at The Queen in Anne’s Suite! I took a lavender bubble bath in the old fashioned tub and it was such a relaxing and exquisite experience. There was a doggy named Buster there who was the sweetest boy and reminded me a lot of my own pups. I felt so welcomed and taken care of. Breakfast was a great experience as well, with the fancy little table set up and great food. Nancy is passionate about what she does and it shows. She is such a genuine and talented host. We walked around outside as well and the neighborhood is stunningly gorgeous with a very safe feel. I would highly recommend this rare gem of a bed and breakfast to anyone looking for a unique experience rather than an ordinary hotel stay.

We weren't sure what to expect either in the town or this bed and breakfast, but both delivered totally. Bellefonte is an attractive town, and The Queen is one of its assets. It's a unique and beautiful heritage house, and Nancy is an attentive hostess who sees to every detail. Breakfast was delicious and healthy, and it was made all the more interesting because of Nancy's participation, with lively banter.
