We celebrated New Years Eve at Golden Eagle. Dinner with friends was good; not great. We stayed the night and our room was comfortable and clean. The property is charming but needs some cleaning up.We would stay again.

Took my lovely girlfriend. The food was absolutely delicious and the presentation was elegant. Seated us by the firelpace and gave us chocolate covered strawberries and champagne after. Great place for a special occasion.

This inn is a sleeper. Rooms are always clean. Mary Jane and Tom are the best hosts. Food is great and the drinks, well they are great too. This historic inn is quaintly furnished and having a fireplace in our room was great.

We stay at the Golden Eagle whenever we get a chance. The rooms are so quiet and feel authentic to the period, the fireplaces are wonderful and the breakfasts are unusually imaginative and delicious. The care is friendly without being intrusive. The town is very interesting and attractive too.

This was my first experience staying at a Bed and Breakfast. I can assure you that it was an amazing one at that. Tom, the owner, was so friendly and accommodating it was unbelievable. My room was very clean with some Bedford Candies popcorn and chilled water waiting for me when I arrived. Breakfast was incredible every morning. Watching the...

Comfortable, historic inn. Each room is uniquely furnished and super clean. Third-floor side porch was a nice place for a late-night scrabble game, even in the winter. Breakfast was large and outstanding: fruit yogurt parfait, frittata, bacon/sausage. Parking lot behind, and stairway to walking trail along the river. Bedford is a fun walking town, lots of shops and things to...

We stayed over the Christmas weekend. Everyone was very welcoming, the room was really nice with a fireplace and the overall experience was great. Restaurant is fabulous too. The inn itself is in one of the oldest buildings in Bedford and its a very interesting place to see. We would definitely do it again.

Even in bad fall weather you could not do better than stay in this place and with these wonderful people. In fact, bad fall weather is ideal to stay in a cozy room with a working fireplace. Thank you.

Very happy stay, not only was the food amazing, but a good beer selection, and the breakfast was perfect. Bed nice and comfy, nice heat lamp in the bathroom, and good location. I do plan to return and looking forward to it.
