Went up to Camel back to ski Presidents weekend live 2 hours way decided to stay over with NO hotels available saw this Knights inn driving by stopped in a was told 1 room left, so I jumped on it 140 $$$$ WOW but didn't want to drive home, it's a typical road side motel , cheap looking, great location to the mountain and shopping at the outlets so we stayed. The room was clean and did smell good rm 121 2 double beds and yes they were comfortable , but old furniture and burn holes in blankets but clean, the bathroom was clean but one of the worst I have seen with broken tiles ugh, but we only got there checked in went skiing and got back late slept got up went to breakfast at FRIENDLY'S right up the road on the way back to mountain and had a coupon from a local book, buy one breakfast get one so that was a bonus and good eats !! would stay here again if the price was right just to sleep it's fine.

From the moment I called to the time of checkout the service was very courteous & friendly. Rooms are nice & clean 😊 close to East Stroudsburg & Poconos and very affordable. It will be my new choice when I attend the Lantern fest every year.. just make sure you tip the cleaning people “directly” - they deserve it!

Wyndham should be ashamed to have these people running one of their properties, 3/6/2018 I booked a room at this Knights Inn using my Wyndham app on my phone reserved with my credit card ($59) x 7 days. Received the confirmation number and headed out from New Jersey. Upon arrival I noticed that the place is a total dump (I stay in hotels 320 days per year) but for the price I was willing to endure. When I entered the office there were two men at the counter smiling and ready to receive me, I handed them my ID, my Wyndham Diamond loyalty card and my credit card that I reserved with. After a half second of pretending to fumble with his computer they state that they have had computer problems and there is no record of my reservation, I smiled and thought to myself well Wyndham has a record of it but ok just give me a room and lets move on. LOL here's where it gets more disgusting than the actual look/smell of the place, he kindly tells me the room is now $129 per night and that I could take it or leave it because they were expecting a big snowstorm. My first thought was to call Wyndham and try to make them honor my original booking but after seeing the place I wanted out. I can not in good conscience tell anyone that this is an ok place to stay because it is a dump. I got back to my vehicle and called my Wyndham Diamond concierge number and explained what had happened. They were very apologetic and stated that they would definitely investigate these unscrupulous practices and pointed me to their other property down the street which I was thankful to find and I might also add did not try to price gouge due to the impending storm even with no reservations. I've also noticed in the reviews that I was not the only one this has happened to. I guess the funniest thing is when I called wyndham again to ensure that my reservation was actually cancelled so that those Knights Inn creeps didn't get to charge me for a no show, the Wyndham customer service informed me that yes it was cancelled by the Knights Inn... I suppose their computer system came back up lol

I don't review places often but this experience was so poor that I felt the need to warn potential future customers. To start off, I was in the area to visit my girlfriend for President's Day weekend and was searching travel sites online before happening upon a relatively inexpensive price ($83) at the Knight's Inn. I called the actual hotel number up to confirm whether or not this was accurate, and the gentleman who picks up tells me yes, they have a room for that price available (it was Saturday at the time and I had planned to stay in a room just one night from Sunday until Monday). I was thrilled about this so I asked if I could book the room, but the gentleman tells me he's having some system troubles and asks me to call back the next morning. He confirmed that he would hold it for me. So I called back the next morning and the same gentleman answers the phone but tries to tell me the price is $113 for a room. I was obviously very unhappy and immediately mentioned that when I called last night I was told the price would be $83. The gentleman then supposedly checks his system and tells me they have something for $95. I was pressed for options at this point so, reluctantly, I agreed to book this room. With tax, the total came to $103, and I paid over the phone to save time when I got there that night. I arrived that night around 8:00 PM with my girlfriend and she stayed in the car while I went to the front desk inside. Two gentlemen greeted me. I gave my information and waited, but they seemed to have trouble finding the room I booked in their system. After a minute, they tell me the only room they have available is a smoking room. I was unhappy with this but it wasn't a total deal breaker for me. I get my key and my girlfriend and I go to our room. As soon as we open the door, we were overwhelmed with a horrible stench. This, combined with the smoky smell, was too much for my asthmatic girlfriend to comfortably deal with, so I went back to the front desk and regretfully asked for a refund. Here's where it gets shady. After asking for a refund, the gentlemen (obviously doing everything they can to try and keep their customer), offer another room that they are "pretty sure" is non-smoking. Of course I asked why they didn't just offer this room to me 10 minutes ago when I made it clear that I preferred non-smoking, but they didn't have a straight answer. I humored them and decided to take the key and check out this other room. It was non-smoking but still smelled, and at this point I didn't want to stay out of sheer principle by being misled twice already. So I went back, firmly asked again for a refund, and they told me that they would have to charge a $20 refund fee because it was after 4:00 PM. I didn't know the policy on this and didn't question it, so I said okay that's fine. The gentlemen then tried to process my refund at their computer but took their sweet time doing so, claiming they "just got new systems and don't know how to work everything yet." Meanwhile, these "new" systems looked like something out of the 1980s. No exaggeration, I stood at the desk for over 30 minutes while they tried to process my refund. It felt pretty clear that they were either trying to get me to be like "you know what, just forget it", or they were just purposely wasting my time. Regardless, I started getting very impatient with the whole thing and offered to help them figure out how to work their system, as I work in IT and am pretty handy with computers. At this point, they miraculously figured out what to do and finally processed my refund. Needless to say, my experience with Knight's Inn and their management was not a positive one, and I strongly recommend staying elsewhere if you're ever in the area.

I am belatedly posting after a stay last August. Knight's Inn provided exactly what we'd want from a roadside motel: a cheap place to sleep, shower, and access wifi. We had no complaints and found the proprietors particularly polite and helpful, especially with arranging a later-than-usual check-in. The room and bed were clean. It did smell a bit musty at first, which is to be expected in August unless the A/C is run 24-7 even when the room is unoccupied. We made our reservation over a third party site that advertised free breakfast, which is a bit of an exaggeration: there were complimentary packaged muffins, juice, and coffee. However, there's a diner right across the street if you need a bigger breakfast. All told, we got what we were looking for: a fine cheap motel room.
