The Overleaf has just re-opened for non-essential travel and I was excited to be able to visit again! The views are as breathtaking and spectacular as always - every minute the ocean is enchanting. Because of the pandemic, many of the regular features and amenities were not available, such as the evening wine and cheese tastings , but they substituted with a beverage and popcorn distributed at check-in. The delicious breakfast buffet is not currently offered but a substantial breakfast with many choices is provided and delivered to your room at the time you designate. The Aveda Spa is temporarily (hopefully) closed but massages were available to be booked. There are many Covid precautions in place and they are strictly adhered to by all personnel. As always, the room was so clean it shined. I feel like much of the staff was doing double or triple duty - kudos to them - all were professional with a smile and a pleasant word always. This was my fourth visit over the last couple of yeas to the Overleaf - I'm so happy I found it and cannot wait for my next visit.

Thank you so much for your "Outstanding" Overleaf Lodge and Spa review!!! We are thankful for your return to The Overleaf, as well as your detailed review of your most recent stay! As you mentioned, because of the restrictions in place, we have had to suspend some of our regular activities and amenities offered to guests. We have substituted as best we can for the time being, and do our best to notify all guests of the current restrictions in place, prior to their arrival. We appreciate your kind and complimentary words, greatly! Thank you for helping to keep The Overleaf Lodge a relaxing and enjoyable place for everyone. We look forward to your return, and hope you have a wonderful summer!

We just got home from the Overleaf, where we have stayed over the course of many years, always appreciating the facility and the service. I have to disagree with the review from 6/17/20. At this time, when the Governor has mandated masks for all indoor activity in Lincoln County, the Overleaf is doing exceptionally well. Everyone working there was wearing a mask, made eye contact and was warm and friendly. Very much an "in this together" feel as we all navigate the new normal of coronavirus. Because of the social distancing guidelines, there's no buffet breakfast - instead your breakfast is ordered the night before and delivered to your room at your requested time. How nice is that?! The guidelines also mandate that some of their other amenities are not available at this time. But, things will balance back one of these days. It's a lovely walk on the 804 Trail into town, or you can walk north a half mile to get to a big wide beach. Even just sitting in your room and watching the waves crash on the rocks out front is it itself a relaxing way to pass the time. In the middle of the pandemic, we wanted a weekend getaway to celebrate an anniversary, and the Overleaf Lodge was the perfect solution for us. :)

We are beyond honored that you chose The Overleaf Lodge and Spa as your ocean-side getaway in celebration of your anniversary! Thank you for your 5 out of 5 rating and review of your stay at our property. I can assure you that The Overleaf staff very much appreciate your perspective and understanding as we navigate these unusual times, together! We aim to make it clear to each and every guest that we are very grateful for their business, as well as their cooperation in regards to County and State regulations. We hope that despite the changes, what really matters is still without question: Unparalleled guest service, meticulously clean and comfortable rooms, an atmosphere of relaxation, and of course: epic ocean views! Thank you for your continued stays at The Overleaf, and for sharing your excellent experience on this last visit with other users of TripAdvisor! We look forward to your return again, and again!

Absolutely wonderful place to be- some of the most beautiful coastline in Oregon. I'd suggested staying somewhere else for the moment- the Adobe up the coast is much friendlier. Despite having an enormous lobby, masks are forced on people (unlike similar properties) and the staff appears resentful of having to be near people. The general manager comes off as an immature teeny bopper, highly disrespectful of guests and is quite unprofessional. But if you avoid the problem staff and can stay out of their way (rules and their own egos come way before guest experience), you will have a wonderful time. it's truly a beautiful place.

The Overleaf Lodge and Spa receives consistently great feedback from guests regarding staff friendliness and professionalism on a regular basis. All of our managers have been dedicated to excellent guest service for many, many years. However, as hospitality professionals, we have come to understand that miscommunications and misinterpretations can occur from time to time. We do our very best to problem-solve as needed, and do so with the utmost respect, patience, and friendliness. We care greatly about guest experience from check-in to check-out. We also care greatly about the health, safety and comfort of every single guest and staff member. Therefore, we abide by State and County regulations, as well as our own guides for a healthier atmosphere in regards to Covid-19 Virus spread prevention. Face masks are currently mandated at lodging facilities by the Lincoln County Governor. Although we have only been reopened since June 1st, we find that nearly every single guest and staff member understand the need to require that face masks be worn in the lobby and other common areas. Guests and staff have also been largely respectful of social distancing practices which maintain that staying 6 feet away from other guests may help prevent the spread of illness. It is clear to nearly every guest that I have personally interacted with that we are all collectively adjusting to new ways of being out in the world, no matter what side of the counter we're on. For more information on how we're doing our part to prevent the spread of Covid-19, please visit our website, or give us a call! Friendliness, consideration, professionalism, cleanliness, health and safety....these are just a few of many examples of our highest priorities here at The Overleaf Lodge and Spa in beautiful, serene Yachats.

The hotel was very nice and perfectly located just a short walk from the town. It had plenty of character with many of the amenities that you would expect from a spa resort as well incredible views, sunset wine tastings and a well thought out breakfast menu. Our room was impeccably clean and in great order with plenty of towels, and bathing amenities and a view that didn’t disappoint.
