and just perfect for a stay at the Heceta Head Lighthouse. When we arrived Oregon was just beginning to experience a storm front and the results were breathtaking. The seas were high which made the sound of the surf even more intense. The next morning offered great views of both the ocean and the forest with the early morning mist... More

We spent 2 nights in the Mariner II suite in the old assistant lightkeeper's house with magnificent views of the rocky coast to the south of the lighthouse. The room was clean and well furnished, and all of the staff we met were very nice and helpful. The house is supposedly haunted; and while we didn't actually see anything unusual,... More

Breakfast was great and the staff was super nice. It was neat to stay in a lighthouse and the view was amazing but unless you're a lighthouse or history buff, I don't think it's worth the money. The house is old and is sort of stinky and there were tons of flies. The mattress in our room was too soft... More

This B&B was a Lighthouse Keepers house, near to Heceta Head lighthouse (now automated, so there are no keepers on-site any more). It was a duplex house, now converted into one. It has two storeys with half a dozen bedrooms upstairs, each furnished simply but comfortably, and typically with a great view of the ocean or a not-so-great view inland... More

We stayed at the lighthouse B&B as part of a 30th anniversary trip to Oregon and Washington. The views as everyone an see are spectacular. We stayed in Mariner one room which gave a great view of the cliffs and ocean beyond. The house itself was nice, really not a lot special about it. We did notice a bit of... More

We spent one night at the B&B and it was a unique experience. We stayed in the Mariner II room which was cozy and has a spectacular view of the coast and beach below. It is decorated with a nautical theme and the bedding was very comfortable and warm. The bathroom was smallish but spacious enough, towels were super cozy... More

The Heceta Head Lighthouse B&B is truly a unique experience. It had been nine years since our last stay. We were not disappointed. The beautiful setting is known as one of the prettiest in the country. The lighthouse is a short walk and at night, it simply is surreal. We had a foggy evening so the beam was even more... More

We spent two nights at Heceta Head Lighthouse B&B in Sept 2013. Location is OUTSTANDING with ocean views and sounds of surf hiting the beach and rocks. Lighthouse is operating and sends out beams of light every ten seconds. Walking trails down to beach and into the hills behind the B&B. Seven course breakfast was very delicious, but plan on... I always wanted to stay at a lighthouse and was pleasantly surprised when there was availability during the high season. We stayed in the most cozy room at the Light Keeper's cottage - the Cape Cove Room. The room was very cute and we had a shared bath with a claw foot tub. The B&B was very clean ( which... More

My recent stay, at this God made place, was both enjoyable and renewing. The kelp flies were not of my choosing but did not deter my enjoyment. The newly restored lighthouse sent out beams, at night, while the entire sky sparkled with stars. The Fresnel lens looked fantastic after not shining for 16 months. Each breakfast was delicious and the... More
