Staying at the Westfir Lodge was a fantastic experience in ALL regards. The location: perfect for mountain biking (and other outdoor activities) in and around Oakridge. The amenities: comfortable beds, tasty breakfast (included), and delicious appetizers and craft beer available the afternoon and evening. And the Wesfir Lodge is VERY bike friendly...everything from trail snacks to spare tubes in the gift shop to secure bike storage and a bike wash station right outside. And the best part: they also run their own bike shuttle right from the hotel to all the local hot spots so no need to book with an outside company. Tracy and Noah do an amazing job. Looking forward to returning sooner rather than later.
Spent one night at this lodge. Everything was sparkling clean, plenty of hot water and a decent breakfast complete with pears from the owners orchard. Morning and evening coffee provided. The beds are great. We had a bottom floor room in this old converted lumber barons 'house-office'. The bath was about 7 steps away. It was ours, a private, down-the-hall bathroom… go figure. The owners are super friendly. Our window looked out on a covered bridge. The town probably has less than 500 residents, but restaurants and a grocery store are less than 2 miles away. In Oakridge. Craft beer on tap. Wish we could have stayed longer.
The Westfield Lodge is just lovely. You feel like you’ve gone back in time, yet no modern convenience is overlooked. Steps away from the Alpine Trail head, and many other epic trails for biking and hiking. This place is a community of adventurers. Noah and Tracy, the owner operators, made us feel welcome, and happily catered to our needs. I love the breakfast of fresh squeezed orange juice, hard-boiled eggs, homemade scones, yogurt, fruit and coffee. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the whole place was super clean. Looking forward to going back soon. Don’t miss this place it’s just awesome!
The Westfir Lodge is a hidden gem in Westfir, OR. I lucked upon this lodge while visiting family in the area and ended up staying here a week. The lodge itself is clean, charming and very comfortable. The owners are friendly and resourceful and cook a delicious breakfast. The Office Bridge and trails nearby that run along Deception Creek were an added bonus for enjoying the beautiful scenery. I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be back!
Stayed four nights the end of Sept. Really enjoyed it here. The bed was super comfortable as was the feel of the place. The breakfasts were filling and tasty. The hosts Tracey and Noah are great. Next time I'm close by this is where I'm staying!!
Just spent a week at the Westfir Lodge for a mountain bike trip and had a great time. It's quiet and clean and lots of places to lounge around. The breakfasts were very good and the owners are very knowledgable about the local area. It was a nice place to unplug but the Wifi is good if you want it. I hope to be back!
Had our work party at this establishment and it was an amazing facility for our event. The owners were wonderful and nothing was needed to embellish the event because the lodge itself was perfect! Would recommend this to everyone!!!
First off, we didn't really know what to expect in Westfir. What a pleasant surprise. B&B owner Dawn and her partner were immediately welcoming, and full of local knowledge and info. They catered to our needs (hiking research) by leaving out maps and guidebooks for us to peruse. Breakfast was delicious, and our dietary restrictions were taken into consideration. The building itself is lodge-like in size, but retains a cozy, homey feel -- especially in the wood-fire heated living room. We enjoyed hanging out by the fire, sipping tea and reading up on local trails. Dawn gave us a tour of the building with lots of historical tidbits, including a peek inside the walk-in safe. Our room was very comfortable and had a private bathroom. I was battling a cold during our stay, and Dawn made me feel welcome despite my sniffling! We'll definitely stay here again next time we find ourselves in Westfir.…
After third day of our biking we stayed here for one night. We had two rooms. Both rooms were clean and comfortable. We met owners (very friendly and nice people). Even though we arrived late, they opened kitchen and served woodfired Pizza which was EXCELLENT.
This place is a nice mix of historic building and young, dynamic (new) owners. We had a great time with them and we love the fact that they are a bike-friendly place and located right at the bottom of one of the best trails in the US.
